Wickes - Christchurch Recensioni 

Wickes Christchurch are dreadful. We have just had a terrible experience with their kitchen design and installation team. The design was highly inaccurate from Katrina (for example the sink and integrated bins did not fit under the selected worktop), the timescales they promise are never met (we were four months late), the manager Chris tries to fob you off with sub-standard solutions to the problems they have created, and they took an inordinate amount of time to properly finish the project. Further there are hidden costs such as the installation (£1,400) that they did not make us aware of. And they are not good value compared to local kitchen contractors. The new kitchen was for an AirBnB and we missed the whole of the summer season for lettings. As compensation for the four month delay they offered £300. When I asked how they calculated this they referred to industry standards but after repeated requests they were unable to provide any detail. I would seriously recommend NOT using Wickes.

Last year, we went to the Christchurch branch and we were lucky enough to find Katrina available to design a kitchen for us. She did an amazing job, making meaningful and personal suggestions. She also made sure she kept an eye on the cost and told us about possible deals we could apply. We did shop around but Katrina's plan was by far the best we got. Things like making sure the crockery drawers are arranged so it's really easy to unload the dishwasher into them, the bins are positioned right under the counter where we make crumbs from toast/sandwiches and can sweep them straight in the bin. She also guided us to have fewer cabinets than we planned and she was right. It's made for a more spacious feeling kitchen and we still have plenty of storage (plus it saved us some money).

During the build, she (and her team) were super helpful as we had a couple of damaged items that needed replacing, which was done without a fuss.

We were so pleased, we went back just recently to ask Katrina to help us design our downstairs bathroom and again, she came up with a configuration we hadn't even considered but means we can have a larger shower than we thought we could and better storage solutions.

She immediately identified and related to our somewhat complex plan and with her professional excellence, knowledge of a product, sense of style, design and practicality, Louise produced the perfect design. Her ability to relate and listen to the customer is outstanding and every problem, Louise found the solution. Her customer care and interpersonal skills filled us with confidence and she is simply inspirational and lovely to work with. Our grateful thanks Louise and also to Wickes. The variety design, quality and options of your kitchens is exceptional.

Had an appointment in the Christchurch branch to discuss designs. Products in the showroom looked good quality, the design service was not good quality. The agent seemed to rush and didn't fully listen to the items I wanted on the design, just adding bits and telling me she liked it. At the end of the appointment she said she would print the design but then changed her mind and said she would email it instead. The email still hasn't arrived weeks later! I went back to the shop to discuss this and ask for the design. The agent I spoke to advised they couldn't do anything or a new design, they emailed the original agent and asked her to send it through urgently, and we still don't have it. Such a shame the service is awful, as the products looked good. We have gone to other providers now who provided designs within hours of the appointment.

Louise ingham went above and beyond to help us with our kitchen.
We had to re design twice due to our first property falling through.
She walked us through every step, offering guidance and recommendations when she thought something wouldnt work!

I highly recommend going to Lou for designing your dream kitchen!

I needed a new kitchen and ended up at Wickes. My kitchen designer was called Louise Ingram. She came up with a lovely design and some different ideas. It is now fitted and we are very happy with it. Louise was very helpful along the way while it was being fitted and sorted out any problems along the way.

We had a great service from (Lou@Christchurch ) she was excellent at her job and came up with some great design ideas and practical solutions to make our kitchen suitable for us .
Communication has been good and questions / adjustments answered and made quickly . Everything that was promised had been executed .
We have been assigned a fitted who seems experienced and knowledgeable . So far we have no complaints , everything has gone smoothly and as promised

Lou@Christchurch has been great from start to finish. It took us some time to ensure we had the design of our new kitchen that we wanted, and Lou was very patient with us. There's been a couple of tweaks since our order, but we're almost there, once the worktops are installed this Thursday.

Louise provided the perfect kitchen design service with consummate professionalism, good humour and, crucially, infinite patience with two clients who couldn't stop asking questions and changing our minds! To say she knows her stuff in depth and makes the process enjoyable is an understatement.

I enjoyed the experience and I have a new fitted kitchen which I like very much. The installers recommended by Wickes were very professional and a pleasure to work with

Very unhelpful staff with a stinking attitude. How are these even operating?

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Charmaine, who came to our home to measure and design our kitchen. She was nothing short of amazing—extremely professional, thoughtful, and incredibly clever with her ideas and design solutions. Charmaine opened our eyes to possibilities we had never even considered, and her input has been truly instrumental in shaping not just the kitchen, but the overall design of our home.

Her creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of space and flow made the entire process enjoyable and inspiring. We genuinely could not have done it without her. Charmaine is a true asset to her company, and we will be recommending her to everyone we know.
