Warden provision.

My mother lives in Croftlands, an Extra Care facility but she is often left without a Warden on site even though there is an element in her rent for this.

This makes her feel vulnerable. She is aged 98.

Croftlands Extra Care Scheme is a 7 day service with the Carelink facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,

Extra Care Scheme Managers are on site during the day and return to the scheme for sleep in cover.

Over 3 years of bulying .......

For over 3 years myself and my disabled wife we have continously been abused by our neighbours (WDH tenants). WDH done absolutely nothing to help. Quite the opposite....... Wakefield Council & WDH are the worst !!!!!

Ongoing disgusting service from WDH

Nothing has progressed re the noise that I am concerned about. I have done everything that’s been asked of me. I ring up every day to speak to someone who’s NEVER available and they don’t even have the manners to call me back. As long as WDH are getting their rent they will go on ignoring me.
Customer service at its very worse !! It’s disgusting and so stressful for me. WDH simply don’t care

All WDH care about is getting their rent not their tenants

All WDH car about is getting their rent
They are not bothered that tenants are smoking cannabis every day , even though they have been informed about it constantly
Drug dealers turning up outside most days selling their stuff
Please don’t reply to this asking me to get in touch with you as i have several times and you do nothing about it

I’m currently living in a wdh council property and it’s overcrowded. Very small home what’s the best option to get a bigger property ring directly or just keep bidding on the wdh site ?

Ignoring tenants instead of helping

I've just got round to reading trustpilot reviews of wdh, I didn't think things were this bad but I have to agree, this company is very good at ignoring tenants who have damp/mould issues , I have contacted them too many times to mention on the one call number to be told someone will call, inevitably they don't ,this has been going on for 6 months.
Nobody should have to live in a property in such disrepair.

No help what so ever feel let down by…

No help what so ever feel let down by WDH. I've been a WDH tenants for over 30 years. But that counts for nothing with these guys. All they care about is getting their pensions. Don't care about anybody's feelings they've got no compassion. You'll know the one when they come to your home. They say we know we're sorry will sort it. Then don't do nothing false sympathy because there in front of you. Please guys complain to your local mp. Hopefully your local mp will bring it up in parliament for you. We're on with it now.

I think if WFH stop putting druggies in…

I think if WFH stop putting druggies in properties where decent people live especially elderly people they might earn more respect from decent tenants they should be more like the forces and vet there tenants and make them responsible for there properties

New Windows and doors


It would be nice to get new doors and windows
They are not double glazed and they are very
Drafty I have to have curtains up at the front and back doors and the condensation is horrendous in the winter

Mutual exchanges…

Discrimination at its finest . Put in for an exchange from a 2bed house to another 2bed house and got refused because its a family orientated area but majority of neighbours are either single people or couples without kids over 50 . The move was on medical grounds for both parties but wdh dont care about mental health kids who are autistic etc moving to areas where schools can cater for their needs theyre a total joke but are quick to move immigrants into nice areas and bring the areas down

Shocking.

Well guys you know the hard working tenants of wdh have to pay out of their pockets if anything needs maintaining. We'll we've just arrived on the street to find one of the tenant. That some would call a drip to society having new windows fitted. Even though one of our neighbour reported the situation to wdh about the tenant giving our area a bad name. Some will have tenants like this living near . Them kind of tenants that have no respect for them living around them. Curtains closed all the time because they've something to hide. So due to the curtains closed all the time there's been a build up of condensation around the windows , mould growing on the curtains due to heating on so the windows can't breathe which was reported because it was giving the streer a bad look. Alot of walkers use this route on a weekend. And many have said how lovely the area is where we live. And we want it to stay that way too. But wont with tenants like this. But really its inflicted by self neglect of the property so why should tenants like this get away with not paying out for the damage. ? It was reported many weeks back about the tenant by one of the neighbours sick of looking over at the property. So this is the reason for the 1 star . Because decent pillars of wdh community ie tenants of wdh don't get nowhere into days society we just get pushed aside.. You've to be a complete tool or scum to get anywhere well that's how it feels to many of us.

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting. Get harassed by cameras and they don't even comply to guidelines of the information commissioner officer ICO..
Not surprise my sister called them Walt Disney Housing WDH.
I will be moving no thanks to them, I will never go with them again.
The lass that came out don't see the point in her. Absolutely bias and one sided. Getting stalked and harassed in my own home. Reporting things for over 2 years now and still no joy.
Never had any issues with any of my neighbours and even now they are bullying my 3 year old. Sick in the head.
Stay clear of them. Even then houses are absolutely awful kitchen just been in over 3 years started to fall to pieces after a year. Plaster all cracking. Handles falling off.

Castleford.

Where I live. There were garages supposedly part of the bungalows storage etc. Even numbered as to which bungalow they belonged to. Then WDH decided that they were an extra part of the agreement, So they started charging for the usage. However. In later years, it transpired that the garages had asbestos roofing. So WDH, in their wisdom, decided to demolish, rather than just sort out the roofs, of the garages that people were actually wanting. Three garages at the side of my property were demolished. Now, bear in mind, that the height of the garage rear wall, that backed onto my bungalow, were around 6ft. After the garages were demolished. They built a 3ft wall (from street level) then put a one metre fence on top. Leaving me with a gap of 2ft. less than what I had before. No privacy, etc. All the other garages that have been demolished, have far higher fences. But because the one at the side of my residence was the first one. It seems that I was the guinea pig. I have made a complaint, and was basically told to "suck it up." WDH has too many chiefs, and not enough Indians... Total bunch of w4nkers...

The reply from WDH. Shows their level of incompetence. They can't even get a reply correct. Don't you even read before you post? "issues with experienced" Doesn't even make sense. I stand by my original post...

Absolute scum

Not only do they do nothing about their noisy fecking tenants so good luck living next to one but they also charged me £81 for a fecking emergency lock change when it was a resident in my block who used my phone for his own property as he snapped his key.

Absolute joke of a company, i can not wait to move out their property because they are all fecking inept

A shame there isn't a way of reviewing…

A shame there isn't a way of reviewing without giving any stars,I've had to listen to 3 modified vehicles been modified further for the past 8 and a half hours on a Sunday, literally up against my property! I'm sick of reporting these nuisance wdh garages and the land they are on,my property is unfortunately attached to them ,nothing I can do about that,but wdh definitely have a responsibility to put an end to it,it's causing me severe distress and anxiety to the point where I'm having chest pains,lady on phone didn't even know it was illegal to drill and do loud work on a Sunday, literally every law webpage states this! Not that you should need to Google it,common decency would tell you this is wrong,they have blocked me in my property all day now,I've not been able to leave my house for food or milk or anything I needed, as I darent try climbing over all their tools as I have mobility issues, so now I'm hungry,extremely angry,and I haven't been able to go out even into MY GARDEN, as they are all there invading my privacy and playing bass music whilst drilling and banging, my father had to park in front of the elderly ladies house next door as he couldn't get his vehicle into the place he would normally park,so he literally stayed 5 mins because he was worried he would get blocked in, if we had needed an emergency service for anything we would probably be dead because, you can't quickly move a car that is in peices obviously! I'm absolutely fed up with it,and I went private to get away from wdh as I had a flat with them and it was horrific, was under mental health care after renting with these con merchants for only 2 year! I think if you read the comments below you will fully understand how insanely bad this organisation is! These garages are for storing working vehicles in,the land they are on should be used for access only, not to come and completely rip apart their cars for silly reasons, if it isn't dealt with this week,I will be going to the papers and the ombudsman, I can't gather evidence , I'm allegedly not allowed to film on wdh land even though its outside my garden, yet if I go out multiple agencies film me and everyone else without consent at all I don't think this is right whatsoever, they are committing a crime I should be able to film that regardless of whose land it is,especially if its causing me to suffer greatly, I will be looking into where I can film,I will be putting cameras everywhere, regardless of what wdh says,we are private rented and fortunately I do not have to answer to these criminals at all,they are still there at 9.46 pm now drilling, and they are also blocking people's garages but nothing gets done, there's signs in big letters saying DO NOT BLOCK THESE GARAGES!
