Excellent service with a great car. Was quick and easy for hand over and return, no hassle and the cheapest best car rental around! Deborah was amazing and great with helping, even showed all the features of the car and tips to help save fuel etc. Will definitely be using again when needed.

Very friendly staff (Deborah). Helped with every functions of car and even with the cheap charging app. The car was very good. Bit disappointed with the range which we mentioned to her at the end. Also it’s been a week and I haven’t got my deposit back.

If solving these issues, definitely renting again.

The staff at the rent-a-car were great. Very efficient, courteous and professional.

I didn't give five stars only because I truly hated certain aspects of the ID3 car that I hired (which is not entirely their fault but partially was). Like the car would only charge to 181 miles and then stopped charging. Why? Could this have been fixed first? The heated steering wheel always came on when starting. Why? Could this have been fixed first? And then there's the incredulously dangerous lane keep assist.... well we won't go there. Suffice it to say I nearly killed a cyclist.

Debs made the whole process seamless from start to finish. Will use again

This was my first experience in renting an EV. Brilliant car and excellent pick-up service with Debbie. The return was less pleasant. Debbie had left for the afternoon and I eventually had to involve the Head of Business, Paul. At pickup I made a pre-authorisation of GBP500 in accordance with paragraph 4 of the rental arrangements. Rather than the amount being 'on hold' as stated, it was fully charged to my credit card. Since I was returning to Australia the following day, I needed to get assurance that the debit was going to be reversed. I received written assurance to that effect, and it was duly received, though I lost money due to different exchange rates.

Renters also need to be made aware that it can take many hours to charge the vehicle with most public chargers being only 7kWh with a battery capacity of 58kWh. Overnight charging is the most efficient solution, and this is not always possible for leisure renters.

I was offered a demonstration of the charging process but declined as my daughter owns a Tesla. There are some quirks where the cable will not release after charging. I resolved this by checking an online forum. However, it may be useful for Marshalls to provide a simple cheat sheet to assist renters.
