Booked Skoda Kodiaq via Henry Skoda booking was smooth, collected car on time, and it was neat and clean, however, as soon as we started the car we came to know that the navigation option was not available in the vehicle, which is absurd for a car of this(SUV) segment plus if you are going on highland this is an essential feature one must need for hassle-free navigation, on reporting this to a consultant we have been told that s/w is not updated so we can't help it, and we ended up struggling with our phone for all navigation during our road trip :(

First time using vwfs Skoda to hire a car.. process of booking online was straightforward. The service from the shop floor was top class and the car for hire was pristine (wish i could have kept it lol) . would highly reccomend this place for car hire . every member of staff were plesant and professional .car hire was for a trip down south for a few days and back and was good having a new reliable car .. thanks for a top level of sevice

Before travelling to Scotland I did a lot of research to find the best car hire in Glasgow. VWFS Rent-a-Car was by far the best. The price was so reasonable that I was concerned that it was some far by night outfit. This concern was laid to rest when I picked the car up. The staff (Erin) was very helpful and friendly. This service was repeated when we returned the vehicle after 32 days on the road. I would highly recommend this company.

My first time using VWFS car rental but you can be sure it won't be the last. The whole process from booking, communication to collection was perfect. The price is excellent and the car was the model I had booked not a substitute that you often find with other companies. I dealt with Erin throughout she was professional and, knowledgeable and helpful.

I now use the Glasgow branch to hire vehicles for work on a regular basis (twice or more a month) and I can't fault the pricing, cars or service. Erin is particularly helpful, always polite and friendly and makes the whole process extremely easy. I don't use any other company now when I need to hire vehicles in Glasgow.

Great service -- good value for money and easy to pick up and return.

On the whole, a good experience. Friendly staff and good car. One or two things surprised me.
1. The website seemed very strict about ID, so I went to some trouble to print out two forms of ID, but apart from my licence I was not asked for them.
2. The contract had terms and conditions but I was asked to sign it and not encouraged to examine the terms and conditions. In fairness, probably nobody does.
3. I was given the keys and the car but initially not shown the controls. As it was very different from my own car I started reading the manual but it was clear that this would take time and hold up other customers. My wife went back and asked if someone could give a brief demonstration of the controls, and indeed someone did, it took only a few minutes and he was very helpful. Surely this should be offered to all customers? I noticed that the customer in front of me was shown the controls without having to ask.
4. I wasn't keen on the system of driving off with half a tank and being asked to return the car with half a tank. I was going on a fairly long road trip to a rural area, had never driven a diesel before, so had no idea how much diesel I would need. I filled it with £60 worth of diesel but ended up using only £30 worth, returning the car with a nearly full tank. I would much rather have a 'full to full' system.

On the website I was asked why I wanted to rent a car. I said that I was considering buying a Skoda and wanted to try one for an extended period (24 hours) rather than just a test drive. I suspect that no-one read this as no-one asked me if I liked the car.
The 24 hours hire was very useful though - although it's quite a nice car I shan't be buying a Skoda.

Decided to get rental from city centre rather than airport. Pick up was very quick and easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Handing back the car was also very quick and easy. I would definitely use this company again was so much easier than other rental companies I have used previously.

It was really easy to find the location, pick up our car, and head off on our adventures. Very friendly staff. Car was in good condition, but took a bit to get used to as the break pedal was extremely sensitive, gas pedal was slower than expected to respond, and car turns off automatically as a eco friendly feature. I would definitely use again and recommend to others :)

Erin made the whole process from start to finish so effortless and efficient; I could not recommend Erin or Henry's highly enough, definitely the best car hire experience I have ever had. The car was clean and as expected, communication was exactly what was needed. If you are in or going to Glasgow and need to hire a car, this is the place to go.

The can rental is located within walking distance from the train station. The check-in and return process was quick and professional. The staff walked around and explained everything about the vehicle. They did not have our reserved car, so they provided a free upgrade without hesitation. The car was clean and well maintained. I would use this service again and not even bother looking around for another place.

Staff at Henry’s, Kyle St Glasgow couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Great car, no problems. All very efficient and also a taxi was organised for us. Thanks very much.

We were quoted £550 for a 1 week rental from various airport companies, but after some searching we found the equivalent vehicle for £170 from VWFS at Henry Skoda in Glasgow. The 500 shuttle bus into the centre was easy, even with big luggage, and a few minutes walk to pick up the car. Fast, friendly and efficient service where we had e-mail advice on which docs to bring (I used passport, DL and DL info code from DVLA, + a household bill) some of which ended up being unnecessary. The car was clean, well spec'ed (Android Auto, yeah!) and was perfect for my needs. Return was also fast and easy and a short walk down the hill to get the bus back to the airport. Well worth the savings and a highly recommended service. I have recommended to friends and WILL use them again.
