My experience is very similar to that of another reviewer, who posted 7 days ago. The (rechargeable) battery in my Lezyne cycle light needed replacing, after many years of service. I contacted Upgrade after discovering that they are the Lezyne distributors in the UK. "Send it back and we'll see what we can do" was the swift reply to my emailed enquiry. Four days later later my light arrived back (by courier delivery) having been repaired at no cost. What amazing customer service! Exemplary!

i do hate the fact that many biking products have a lifespan when, in many cases, it wouldnt take much to keep things going. This certainly can apply to many biking electronics. My Lezyne light died after many years of service, a quick google showed that it was the death of the rechargeable battery was to blame. i couldnt get the exact battery online so contacted Upgrade as they were the Lezyne distributors. The guys were great, "send it back and well see what we can do". A week later my light arrived have been repaired FOC. Spot on, other companies take note. this is how things should be to help keep mother nature happy

Quick and helpful spares

I had a cycling computer out of warranty and required a new piece. I contacted them as the lezyne distributer. I received a reply and ordered within a day and the part arrived promptly afterwards.

So helpful! On finding out my bike light couldn't be repaired I was offered a discount to be able to choose any other light on their website at a discounted price, arrived with extras such as mount for handle bars, brilliant service

Contacted Upgrade Bikes regarding repair to Lezyne GPS unit, from 1st contact customer service is fantastic and repair was done so quick and returned back to me straight away. Would recommend them to anyone and will do.

I had cause to contact Upgrade Bikes yesterday regarding a very small but significant spare part for a frame. My emails were responded to extremely quickly and efficiently and use of their website ordering was easy and user friendly. I ordered the parts mid-day yesterday with standard delivery and they arrived before 09.00 this morning.

Overall, outstanding services and communication and I would have no hesitation recommending Upgrade Bikes or using them again in the future.

From first contact to resolution, these guys, Rupert in particular handled my issue in exemplary fashion. I was looking to repair my Lezyne GPS device. Not an easy task when dealing with a discontinued product. After just a few courteous and very helpful e-mails, not only did they find the exact part I was looking for but I received it just 2 days later through the post. I don't think I've ever experienced customer service, efficiency or professionalism like this before. Upgrade Bikes will now my first port of call when looking for anything bike related. A fantastic experience and I thank you once again.

Emailed looking for a part for some long-discontinued forks, that I couldn't find anywhere. I got a really prompt response, and the (very reasonably priced) part was with me the next day - great customer service, thanks!

I have owned a Kinesis Racelight TK2 for a number of years. It’s an excellent bike! Kinesis issued a recall on the carbon forks. With this in mind, I contacted Kinesis asking if I could replace the forks…

I think customer services literally responded within a few minutes and I received the new forks 2 days after I sent the old ones back for replacement.

What an amazing service! I’m super impressed with Kinesis and their quick response.

Bike was stolen with the mounts for my Lezyne Micro rear lights on the seat post (had the lights in my pocket). These are discontinued but Martin at Upgrade Bikes found some old stock and posted them to me FOC.

I have a faulty new Lezyne 1300xxl light that looks burnt at the back. I explained to them that the supplier could not replace it so I turned to them for help as the main agent for Lezyne. As expected they inferred "tough" its nothing to do with us. As a safety issue you would think they would like to inspect it but no I felt they just wanted me to go away.

about 4 years ago i bought this light.
The light has performed really well, but the plastic bung that goes in the charging port broke, i discussed with upgrade bikes, as the light needs taking to bits to fit a new bung, they told me to post the light to them. About a week later the light came back fixed,

A few years ago I bought a Leyzne mini pump, £45, a lot of money for a cycle pump. I don’t get many punctures and used it in this time about 6 times. The last time I used it, the flexible hose failed, not something I would expect to happen especially after such little use. Yes it was out of warranty but I thought the distributor would want a chance of helping to sort something out, good customer relations you could say. I sent it directly back and heard nothing for 3 weeks, despite them having all my contact details. I phoned them and spoke to the technical department. The person was less than helpful, just stating that it was out of warranty with a ‘tough luck’ attitude. He also said that they have none in stock anyway so can’t help. When I asked the question as to where I could possibly buy one, the answer, “you’ll have to google it” was an insult. Just no interest in customer service. I decided following this to email them as I really felt slighted by this terrible service and now again expecting at least an apology, nothing, no reply to my email. Having worked for some of the worlds best motorcycle accessories brands both retail and distribution I would never treat any customer with this poor and shoddy service and attitude. You have lost one, if not many more customers.

Bad from start to finish.
Order was late to be dispatched.
Very expensive delivery cost, which was late.
Spent two days waiting at home after emails saying the shipment would be delivered the next day - then had to contact the courier only to be told they wanted me to pay extra money for import services - despite no tax or import duty being applicable.
No apologies fro the courier or Upgrade Bikes.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

Ordered a new wheelset off these guys. Fast delivery and fantastic price. Made up with them. Highly recommended.

A really great company with great staff who are very knowledgeable and happy to help with any queries. Anything DMR these guys know the lot.
