I had a great experience, BuxumBox reached out to clarify whether my bike would fit and then constructed a custom box for me. Shipping was delivered on time so I could travel with the box as I wanted. The box is the best I've ever had, before there was a generic hard case for my bikes, but this is so much better.

The only bikebox I’d travel with. Have had a Tourmalet for several years and have just purchased a Ventoux after partner’s bike was damaged in a BikeBox Alan aerofit. They turned this box around really quickly to hit our travel date and the customer service, as always, has been superb. The Ventoux is so quick and easy to pack (and although bars need to be removed for the Tourmalet it’s also quick and simple). The design of both means your bike is so well protected and the box withstands anything thrown at it - on a coach transfer from the airport, I had to listen my unsecured box being flung from side to side around every high speed corner and roundabout - box had some battle scars but bike unharmed. Would recommend - worth every penny!

Great support answering questions before my order. Seamless delivery to the US. Aubisque tri box is large, but easy to pack and unpack. Box did great in my first trip to Spain. No issues with airline check-in. Box is stout and protected the bike extremely well.

They shipped rapidly so my box came in time for an upcoming trip and communication was great on WhatsApp.

The box is as good as you can get for protection and can be packed in less than 5 minutes.

Keep in mind the size of the box as they are big!

Over many years of travelling with a bike abroad this is my 3rd bike box. I originally had a soft shell bike carrier which was light but not protective. I then had A BB Allen but had to change it because I needed a hard shell box that allowed me to keep integrated handlebars on bike.
The Buxum is a beautifully engineered Rolls Royce of a bike box.
I read the critical reviews on here. One comment was about “sharp rivets”. My personal view is that the box is gloriously engineered and the riveting is smooth and “aircraft quality”. It’s pretty much the same length as BB Allen easyfit and slightly shorter at maximum height. It looks bulkier because it is oblong.
The clasps are much better engineered than any other product. It rolls easier than a BB Allen.
I love mechanicing my bike: putting a bike safely away for travel is an art form. The Buxum only requires the removal of your wheels and seat post. 3 minutes.
Another comment on another review is that the central support bar might be a struggle for airport security and it could lead to wheel damage. The BB Allen also has a central support bar which is far more risky to your spokes. With the Buxum u pass the bar through your spokes under direct easy vision and there’s no weight of the lid risking your wheels when pushing bar through. In fact the quality of the engineering is beautiful.
I had to ask for some help at short notice and was guided accurately through what I needed and the box was delivered on a very short urgent time frame. Great communication and support.

Just back from Spain having used the Tourmalet bike box from Buxum it’s maiden voyage. The quality of engineering on these boxes is quite something - and will stand the test of time. For the first time had no bike plane anxiety as to what shape my bike might arrive in the other end! The locking mechanisms to secure the bike are excellent it’s all extremely well thought out and designed. Used several over the years and this is now the go to box. When they say ‘you can use one finger to move it around’ they aren’t kidding - quality wheels that glide through the airport & they won’t wake the neighbourhood up either as they aren’t cheap hard plastic. It’s not cheap but neither are bikes so a sound investment imo. Another plus it was under the BA weight limit - if your bike isn’t too heavy it counts as std hold baggage - ie no extra cost! Win win! Return to Spain with bike was £149 💥 with BA.

This box is truly art!, well built and it looks after my bike perfectly and the bonuses I only have to take my wheels off, which means less downtime more cycling time

I asked to cancel the order and the supplier refused to do so, even though it is in their refund policy.

Wheels don’t work very well only turns on one side the box. Also very loud while moving, if you don’t want to draw attention and also want the possibility of fitting into most vehicles, don’t recommend. Also the wheel storage is an afterthought, simply held by velcros.

Love my Ventoux. US airlines are notoriously rough on luggage. On a tecent trip, the box was a little beaten up, but my expensive bike was safe and sound. I also got a lot of compliments from other cyclists who were traveling!

Firstly, I was a bit confused about the many configuration options. Later, I tried to contact sales support, and thanks to their prompt response and friendly approach, everything was clarified very quickly. I am very satisfied Buxumbox owner now. Don't hesitate to ask which box is the best for you. It definitely helped me to find the best one.

I ordered a bike box well in advance to make sure it would arrive on time for my trip. Unfortunately, the item was shipped extremely late and only dispatched at very short notice.
As a result, it did not arrive in time, and I was unable to take my bike with me as planned. This caused significant inconvenience and completely disrupted my travel plans.
Very disappointing experience, especially considering the importance of timely delivery for travel-related equipment.
I hope the company improves their logistics and communication in the future.
