Fitter could not fit vynil and and told us to have carpet.We ordered carpet and paid the extra only then to be told that the fitting went from £45 to £135.so of cause we cancelled and were charged 20% of the price to cancel total rip off will not use again or recommend again

I have spoken to the store who have gone above and beyond to try and rectify any issues you had with you originally choosing a vinyl for your bathroom that wouldn't be able to fit over the raised and curved shower. The team have then recommended the aqua bathroom carpet that will have a better fitting in your bathroom than the vinyl, with the fitters going through this and giving their recommendations based on your bathroom.
We are disappointed to hear that you still wasn't happy and therefore cancelled your order without giving us the opportunity to go through your itemised bill with you.

Good and not so good.
The carpet and fitting were good however when I bought the carpet no one told me that it was a thick carpet and that it was therefore likely that the doors would no longer fit. Logically I should have thought this but it didn’t occur to me . I do think the salesperson should have trade this clear as when the carpets were fitted I was left with both the wardrobe door and the bedroom door off their hinges and propped up on the wall! I was really pissed off!! I had to get someone in to sort the doors. At the very least the shop could have made the situation clear and had a number ready for someone to do the job after fitting.I thought that was poor service.

Would score 0 star if possible. WORST experience ever!
Chose a ‘new in’ carpet as I was advised they would have plenty of it in stock.
Stock was an issue! I had to choose a different shade for one of my bedrooms as the original colour I chose would not be in stock for 2 months!
I was told wrong times for the fitters on 2 out of 3 occasions the fitters that turned up were rude with poor personal hygiene!
Ask for the manager to call me to discuss. I’m still waiting…

Rude people …
They cancelled the fitting appointment 3 times, they were 2 hours late to fix the carpet , the guy was very rude and didn’t fit the carpet properly. I spent £400 only for 13 stairs and I’m not happy at all. It was United carpet on ayleston road Leicester

Bad fitters - Bad service
Absolutely shocked I’ve been sent this link to leave a review, after I had to call numerous times because the fitters did a terrible job, so another fitter was sent a few days later, who was so rude - I can’t begin to explain - whom also stunk so badly of cigarettes, that my new bedroom had to be aired all day, and then he got himself up off the floor, leaving a massive dirty handprint on my freshly painted white wall!!!
The carpet was stretched so much it started to fray…
I called the shop to explain my frustration and asked for a manager call back several times, but it never happened! Hence the not nice review…

Laminate floor laid
Had a few laminate floors laid, by far the best quality lay I have had, this will help with the keep of the floor. They also offered extra protection in wet areas which I took. Great price also. Cheaper than carpetright.

We had a problem with our vinyl…
We had a problem with our vinyl flooring in the kitchen after installation. We emailed the photos over to United via WhatsApp as told and no response whatsoever. That was several weeks ago. Not happy.

this was not a pleasant…experience
Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience just having moved witch is stressful enough, so I was told a am appointment, after 3 calls the guys who were friendly enough came at 3.30 pm , the carpet was laid . Stairs and top hallway, you can see cuts on the carpet mid staircase, some of the rails left not nailed down at corners, looks like it’s an inch short, and the mess !!! I don’t no how but every room in my house was covered with bits of carpet, I mean covered I have pictures, two big bags of rails left and loads of carpet for me to put out side and eventually take to the tip in my own car ,

Half a service
We ordered a roll-end stair carpet including fitting then decided we could fit it ourselves. They said that wasn't a problem and would get the fitters to drop off the carpet for a nominal charge when passing, that weekend. The subcontract fitters decided they had better things to do ! My son had to drive to Leicester and tie the carpet to the top of his van. If you are considering dealing with this company remember that you will be dealing with 2 companies. One if which you have no contract with and who expect payment in cash. Never a good sign. Would never use them again.

Invoice not itemised
Invoice not itemised, had to do my own calculations and found I had been changed £10 extra. Called the shop to question it and was told it was for glue which was added to every sale. Asked the fitter on the day what he would be using glue for, glue wouldn’t be used and they very rarely use any glue when fitting carpet. Good quality carpet and underlay, excellent job done by fitter, only issue is being ripped off for something that isn’t needed which adds up to a lot of extra revenue per year with every carpet sold
