The salesman made his self known to us but left us to browse and offered help when needed. Helped us get a feel for the carpets and underlay.

We feel we got a good price for the carpet, underlay and fitting.

Really impressed with the fitters and more importantly very impressed with my new bedroom carpet, it feels so luxurious and looks great too

It took 6 weeks from ordering it to them coming to lay it when they said it would only take 2 weeks and had to ring them for up dates. When they gave me a fitting date then they cancelled it and gave me another 3 days later. So am very disappointed with united carpets so I am very reluctant to get my bathroom floor from them

All done on time hassle free.

Bought carpet for living room, bedroom and hallway. Decided to use existing underlay to save money, as we were on a budget. We realised we had purchased it when carpet fitters turned up. Ended up buying something we really didn't want.
We were also not informed of free fitting offer. United carpets need a much clearer pricing/invoice system. Naively trusted the salesman.

I have dealt with UC&B for years at Keighley, and have always had great service. This time however I used the 5 Lane Ends branch in Bradford.
From the very start this was not the usual service. They lost my quote, they missed things off the quote, they didn't tell me that the fitters required the old carpets removing before their arrival, they cut the wrong size of carpet, so I had to go and pick up my own carpet, whilst the fitters waited at my house. When I arrived at the store there were 3 staff sat around chatting ? So obviously, they couldn't be bothered to sort their own mistakes.
The fitters were great, but the store team sadly were poor throughout the entire process.
When I visited the store the day after my fitting, to speak to the manager, although he apologised, I still felt I was made to feel that this was my fault. The missing door furniture, and most of the other issues was all about listening, and then communicating with the customer. Something this branch failed to do satisfactorily.
The furniture was fitted a week later, but the comment of " I won't charge you for the fitting" didn't exactly come across as customer focused. He also only met me half way on the cost of the removal, and never offered any compensation for MY mercy dash to collect and deliver my own carpet.

From choosing my carpets to fitting it was an excellent experience, the carpets are very good quality and value for money.

Knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Without being pushy.
Afternoon a visit to our home for measurements the following day and a carpet chosen.
A quote was given that afternoon and carpet ordered.
Fitted two days later perfectly.

Always come to this store for my flooring needs. Staff are polite and friendly, have good knowledge about the products they have, give great advice and guidance. This time shopping for my living room carpet was no exception. Excellent service as always. Thank you!

Great service, everything delivered when we asked. No pressure couldn't be happier

We had vinyl fitted in our dining room. As a previous review with the showroom visit, the man we saw said you can order 4 samples from the website, this wasn't the case, it's only carpet samples that can be ordered. He said you can lay vinyl straight on the floor boards, normally you always need ply down first.
We got the room measured up on the Saturday, he said we should get the quote by end of the day. I had to call the showroom up on the Monday to get the quote.
When the vinyl was delivered to the showroom, we booked the fitting day, but they couldn't give me a time then. I had to call up on the Saturday morning, as nobody contacted me, to get a rough time the fitters would turn up.
The fitters didn't call me up to say they were on the way, we looked out the window and the van was parked up, good thing we didn't need to pop out.
We have used united carpets before and had no problems, this time wasn't as good service as they should provide.

Carpet fit well but the quality doesn’t seem as good as it used to be.

Great product and customer service was brilliant

Chose 2 patterns of Lino for 2 rooms. Got a phone call a week later to say that one of the patterns was out of stock. Trailed back to the store and picked a different pattern. Got another phone call a few days later to say that was also out of stock. Decided to cancel that pattern and went elsewhere. What is the point in having items on display if they are out of stock. Will not return to that store.

Bought a carpet a few weeks ago, collected the carpet. Moved house after my last purchase from this company. Excellent service from the staff, 2 young lads compared to me. 1 chunky lad with glasses and a small mixed race chap. Had a good chat with them, would recommend Idle United carpets again. Decent price with good service, what more can i ask for?

Was just slightly annoying that whoever ordered it ordered a few metres short of amount needed so the fitters had to part fit then come back the next day to finish it with the rest of the carpet.

Called in to order vinyl flooring for 3 rooms. Picked out the same colour for 2 rooms and a different one for the hallway. A week later got a phone call to say the hallway one was out of stock. Trailed back to the store and ordered a different colour. 10 days later after hearing nothing I called in only to be told that it too was out of stock. What is the point in having them on display if they’re out of stock. Absolutely ridiculous. Arranged to have the other 2 fitted and said I’ll go somewhere else for the hallway. The fitter was excellent but the store is absolutely terrible since Tapi took over from united carpets. Will never set foot in the store again. If you like being messed about and a whole load of hassle then this is the place to go. Not even worth one star.

Fast service with a smile, great choices.

We bought carpets and a bed from here December 2022. So far we’ve had the stairs carpet replaced twice due to it delaminating. The living room carpet was due to be replaced due to that delaminating. It was going to be done at Easter but due to a measuring error by the shop it wasn’t done. We were told beginning of the summer holidays but we are still waiting. Now the 2 bedroom carpets are delaminating. We’ve emailed the shop and we were offered £60. We turned this down due to the fact the carpets cost nearly £2000. We emailed nearly two weeks ago to ask for the carpets replacing. We are still waiting for a reply from the shop. Our bed which we bought from there has also got a fault. We have reported all this but no reply

First carpet fitter turned up on time, good job done, very little to clear up. Second carpet was being fitted a week later but we weren’t ready so re- booked for the following week. There again, good job done by a different carpet fitter. We always go here for our carpets.
