Great service, great price. Even managed to get a fitter to come between Christmas and New Year with only a few days notice.

Had a lovely and stress free experience at United carpets and beds thanks to Andrew. He was very welcoming, helpful and informative. Carpets chosen booked and sorted all on New Year’s Day and fitted a week later. A big thank you to the fitting team too who were very professional and have done an excellent job. We’ll be back again to arrange carpet for the rest of the house! Thank you again

Rubbish experience
Rubbish experience. Booked in for all of upstairs and staircase. Told on the day oh we can’t do your stairs anymore and if you don’t like it then don’t have the carpets done!! Apparently because the manager was leaving he didn’t care! Now we have carpets and lino that are coming up in the corners and someone having to come back. Would never buy from them again. Was shouted down the phone to by the ‘manager’, called ‘love’ constantly by another person there. No respect and no customer service once they have your money!! Even the carpet fitters said the manager was awful!

You should get proper carpet fitters & not cowboys, as everybody knows you can not fit Lino on a floor that isn’t flat! He packed it with Lino so my floor now has a lovely bounce to it & now need to spend more money to rectify this! The worst service ever from the manager too

Problems encountered
Having used this branch several times. We had an issue this time. Unfortunately. Part of the order was missing and could not be completed on the first visit. The guy in the shop did not acknowledge his mistake or apologise. I had to do all the chasing to get it rectified otherwise it would still be outstanding now.

The first fitter refused to do the job…
The first fitter refused to do the job claiming he hadn’t been told about the toilet that needed doing too.
The second fitter laid the laminate really well but the beading needed more attention to detail as did the silicone around the toilet which has yet to be rectified.
We were compensated for the time we had wasted waiting for the first fitter to do the job. Compensation was more than fair.
Returned to the store to speak to the manager but he didn’t seem interested and made excuses. However he did offer to get the fitter back. We asked him not to as it would be awkward but he went against our wishes.
The fitter rang to say he would return to sort the silicone and beading out but as yet has not been in touch.
