Darin and his team, cleared my Office in the City of London and transported everything to my Home.

They packed all files and office furniture on my behalf and later disposed of furniture that I no longer required. It was not necessary for me to attend my office because the Company did all of the packing on my behalf. This saved me a huge amount of time.

I found UKHomeRemovals to be very professional, friendly, polite and extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble for Darin and his team.

If you want a fast, professional service and need an all inclusive accurate quote with no "small print extras", then I would thoroughly recommend this Company.

I have moved today the 2 men was very reliable they turned up 15 mins early which was brilliant. They had a 4 HR drive and still managed to do a fantastic job .

We had a fantastic experience with Darrin and his team. Having been let down on the day of moving by another company, Darrin was a breath of fresh air. Could not be more helpful and arrived almost a hour later ready to go! The driver was super friendly and very helpful, it was very reassuring to know my mom and sister were well looked after! Amazing service. The drivers turned up earlier than expected. All in all it took around an hour to pick up items from two addresses and deliver them.
Really reasonably priced and takes the stress out of moving. Best company around!

Absolutely awful customer service and organisation. I booked this company over a week in advance to move the contents of my flat, confirming all details by email.

The drivers did not turn up until 3 hours after the booked time which meant I could not move my items into storage (Sunday early closing hours) and my whole schedule was thrown off by a day. Totally unacceptable and unapologetic service, taking advantage of people in need. Abysmal communication, demanded cash on the spot after the job even though this was not specified when the booking was made.

came across this company on a comparison website, they were cheaper than all other quotes that came in, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Spoke with Darin over email, he had confirmed that my quote included packing and unpacking and moving of all furniture etc. I specifically asked on email if I should get boxes for the packing and the reply I got said ‘we will take care of everything’. I was also concerned that the quote for 4 hours to pack my stuff, load it up into the van and unpack it at the other end, would not be enough. I asked a few times to make sure he was sure this would be enough time and I was assured that this is usually enough time.

The day we were moving arrived, two guys and a van arrived and the first question they asked me was why hadn’t I packed anything. I explained I was told the quote included packing, they said they could do this but then asked where my boxes were. They also explained to me that 4 hours would definately not be enough time and I would need to pay £50 extra per hour we go over on top of the extra cost for the boxes.
I rang Darin to ask why the guys didn’t know they needed to pack and why he didn’t tell me I needed to get boxes myself when I asked, but he just put the phone down on me.

I have back issues which is why I looked for a packing and removal service but unfortunately as it was so unorganised I ended up having to do a lot myself too, as well as my husband.

I feel like we were completely misled with this company and with what their quote included.

The guys that helped us move were really great but I wouldn’t recommended someone use this company at all!!

We used Uk Home Removals to move items out of a second floor flat to a new house.

I first became aware of UKHR after inputting my details into a removal company comparison website. I was quoted £400+ by every company other than UKHR, who quoted me £200 for 2 men and a Luton Van. This was a lot cheaper, but made sense considering UKHR anticipated the removal would only take half a day. I liaised with “Darin” and got the move booked in for 9am.

A short while after I had made the initial booking, I realised I wouldn’t be given the keys to my new home until 2-3pm. I emailed Darin to change the times of my booking to 1pm. Unlike when I’d first made the booking, It took me sending multiple emails over a couple of days before Darin would reply to me. However, I was assured that the booking was confirmed for 1pm.

The day before I was moving house was when the trouble began. I missed a call from an unknown number, who left no voicemail message, at about 3pm. When I saw the missed call, I rang the number back twice. No one answered my call so I assumed it wasn’t important.

The day of the move: I called UKHR to ensure the delivery men were still coming at 1pm, despite me confirming everything a couple of days earlier by email. I was utterly shocked to be told that, because I didn’t pick up the phone yesterday, the company had cancelled my booking and sent the drivers on another removal job. It didn’t matter that I hadn’t received a voicemail message telling me this or that I had called the unknown number back twice and not gotten a response - the booking was cancelled. The person on the other end of the phone then said he would contact the delivery guys to see if they could come after their “new” job. To say I was panicking is an understatement!

The person soon called me back to say that the removal men would be able to come at 3pm, rather than 1pm. What else could I do other than accept this new time and hope it would be honoured? My partner called the company back several times throughout the day to ensure that the booking would be honoured. At about half 3, the men and van did turn up, and credit to them - they did a good job. A few items arrived with grease stains on them but on the whole, I was pleased.

However the poor customer service would make me think twice about using UKHR again: moving house is already a stressful process and the unexpected cancellation of my booking left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

Excellent service, we had very good experience with this company moving houses within London. Very competitive price compare to other companies who wanted to charge us double. Completely disagree with negative comments here, two gentlemen who have facilitated our move were kind, professional and efficient so if you needed more time that you have requested is probably because you have underestimated how much stuff you have and how much time realistically will take to move it. We had to pay for extra two hours but I don’t feel it was unreasonable at all, guys worked extremely hard the whole day. Would use this service again for sure. Thank you so much for moving everything safely to our new home.

I used them for my move to Germany and they dismantled everything in my flat, helped me pack, handled everything with care and I could not be happier! They were also extremely customer oriented when booking the move even at last minute. I would use them again anytime. Having used several removal companies in London in the past I can confidently say that they are the best!

UK Home Removals guys are professionals ! They arrived on time, was super professional, did not damage any of my furniture, and there were no hidden costs. Prior communication via email was very prompt and clear as well, which I really appreciated.
