Very good service. They picked up my stuff from storage in the UK and brought it to my house in France. Driver unloaded carefully, with my help. Arrived in perfect condition, collection and delivery on time as agreed. Good comms & nice people.
Prompt service, easy to work with
All very prompt with pick up and delivery; easy to navigate the customs information with Jovada's help. This is the second time I've used them, and I'd use them again.
Competitive and effective
The price they provide is extremely competitive and the service is good. None of the items suffered any damage. It requires a bit of flexibility for the delivery, I was not given a fixed day but a range of 3 days, but I suppose that is normal as customs (after Brexit) is not fully predictable.
Move to the South of France

Quick and easy
Struggling to find a good removal service?
If you're thinking about using Jovada Express, then go ahead! We were absolutely delighted with their removal service. We moved house, from one country to another, and they guided us through the export paperwork. Two things stand out with this company: their communication is excellent (you talk to real people, and they genuinely want to help you) and secondly they actually do what they say they will. How rare is that, these days? When their trucks rolled up at 11:55am, for a midday appointment to pick up, it almost blew my mind, because timely arrival of trucks almost never happens (we've moved house a lot, internationally). The delivery was equally prompt, 1100km later, with the same cheerful and polite driver, Daniel, taking the time to ensure every box was carefully unloaded. Nothing was broken. Nothing was missing. I can't recall ever having had such a smooth house-move. Finally, the price: extremely competitive. (True, they weren't the cheapest quote, but we also had far more expensive quotes from most other companies, seemingly written by AI, some of them). In summary, this was money well spent, and we will definitely use Jovada again in the future. I recommend you do, too.

Great service from start to finish, we was urgently looking to get our belongings from the UK to Spain and Jovada Express was there to sort this out , from the first email explaining what we need to do to collecting our items then to deliver them to our new home in Spain took 13 days , can’t thank them enough

UK to Spain small removal
Very quick, efficient, responsive, good value and competent service. Removal of a large wardrobe from East Yorkshire to central Madrid was entirely painless and done in a week purchase to delivery. I would Adam’s services again without hesitation.

Great value compared to other providers and everything arrived safely.
We received all our 42 boxes today. We are really pleased with the whole process. Communication was friendly from beginning to end; the price was good value for money (I did extensive research in advance), and all our belongings arrived safely, including my guitar. We did pack, weigh and label each box in advance, which really paid off, as the company took time to weigh every individual box before loading the van. The delivery arrived as planned and went very smoothly. I would definitely use this company again.

The smoothest move I’ve ever had
The smoothest move I’ve ever had! I’ve done a lot of international moves over the years, but Jovada made this the best experience by far. I moved from London to Berlin and everything was handled perfectly. Great communication, super professional team, and my things arrived safely and on time.
If you want a stress-free move I definitely recommend Jovada!

Unacceptable Conduct from Proprietor Undermines an Otherwise Decent Service
I booked a van for a part-load collection from Sussex to Perugia. Initial coordination with Nikodem, the Manager, was smooth and professional. We agreed on an estimated freight weight of 500 kg, and arrangements were made accordingly.
Unfortunately, the van arrived three hours late—a poor start. Nikodem was unavailable, and I was instead addressed by Adam, the proprietor. From that point, the experience deteriorated rapidly.
After loading, I was informed the cargo weighed 680 kg. Adam called and gave me two options: reduce the load to 500 kg or pay an additional £900. I refused, citing our prior agreement. What followed was a barrage of verbal abuse, including repeated expletives and personal insults. Eventually, Adam calmed down, apologized, and agreed to a reduced surcharge of £400. I committed to paying this upon receipt of his bank details, which I requested both verbally and by email. No response was ever received.
Over the next 18 days, I continued coordinating with Nikodem—who remained helpful and courteous—and arranged delivery to Perugia for 7th October. Upon arrival, the driver requested payment before unloading. I was ready to pay the original invoice plus two weeks of UK storage (agreed with Nikodem but omitted from the invoice).
When the driver called to confirm payment, Adam again demanded £400 in cash, and in my opinion erroneously claiming I had promised to pay upon delivery. I reminded him that I had twice requested bank details for a UK transfer, which were ignored. Once again, I was subjected to a five-minute tirade of expletives and threats, including the suggestion that the cargo would be removed unless I paid immediately.
To resolve the situation, I paid €200 in cash and agreed to transfer the remaining balance upon returning home. The driver, I must note, was efficient and professional.
After returning home, I emailed Adam to confirm I would complete the payment upon receiving a written apology. What I received was a brief, impersonal note that felt more like a *going through the motions* message than a genuine expression of regret.
In summary, Adam’s conduct was deeply unprofessional and completely at odds with the otherwise acceptable service provided by his team—particularly Nikodem. I strongly recommend that Adam seek guidance from his Manager on how to communicate respectfully and manage customer relationships appropriately.
This experience could have been satisfactory, but the proprietor’s behavior seriously undermined it.
Disappointed...
To say I am disappointed with the services I was provided with by Jovada Express between 25th and 28th November 2024 is an understatement.
I contracted Jovada Express, Rochester, England to help move some of my belongings from England to Barcelona, Spain. They agreed to pick up my belongings on 25/11/2024 and deliver them to Barcelona on 28/11/2024 and the agreed deposit was paid. They stated that all the items will be weighed by the driver. However, after loading and locking the truck, one Adam called me from their [Jovada Express] office to inform me that my belongings weigh over 1000kg and that it is an offence to drive that load on a 3500kg van to Spain and that they will have to split the goods when they get to their warehouse in England and that I will have to pay extra amount. I agreed.
However, upon my arrival in Barcelona on 27/11/2024, I was contacted by the same Adam that all my belongings are now already in Barcelona and that the driver is happy to deliver and that I will have to now add £200.00 to the agreed total amount instead of the initial £500.00 The driver was already at my address at the time I arrived home from the airport. All my belongings were now loaded in a different 3500kg van. The driver and the Adam mounted a lot of pressure on me stating that the driver had to return to Germany that same night.
We offloaded my belongings, and the delivery papers were even signed on the street due to the pressure. While assembling with the driver, we discovered that the wardrobe and bed were damaged and my electric clothes airer was also lost/stolen.
Jovada Express agreed straight away to repair the wardrobe and replace the lost/stolen electric airer. However, while trying to install my 65" TV, it was discovered that it was also broken. It was just showing blue screen and a couple of lines on the screen. I again contacted Jovada Express to report on the damaged TV. They initially told me there is nothing they can do as I had already signed the delivery sheet. They later explained to me that they would speak to their insurance company, but I will have to first send them the following:
1. Details of the damage (e.g., photos of the broken TV). 2. Proof of the item’s condition prior to transport. 3. A valuation of the TV, and details including make and model.
I provided them with all the above.
After some weeks, they asked what I wanted for settlement. I told them to use their discretion as they have all the receipts with them. They then offered me £200 goodwill payment as a full and final settlement and that remains their final position and that is a genuine attempt to resolve matters.
My question was; how come they were now allowed to drive the same amount of load they stated was illegal on the same size of van?
One thing I am very sure of as an African is that all the people involved in this bullying will pay for what they have done to me in one way or the other including with what they love most. They believe in law, but I believe in Justice.

These guys get things done! Despite my last minute booking, they were very flexible and responsive. Friendly, efficient, and no fuss, great value for money.

Good price, good service, helpful but could improve their communication.
We were moving from UK to NW Spain. Hired a whole van. Communication in first stages was great. Everything in place 50percent payment up front. Afterwards heared nothing until I sent some emails in early August. I had to remind the guys to set up the WhatsApp group for me, which they did, apologising fo the delay. Probably the communication problems were due to my panicking. Regards the pickup and delivery, I cannot fault Jovada Express, Thier staff were efficient and helpful. Our belongings were professionally loaded and it was explained that they would be loaded onto another van. When the van arrived it was still loaded well. Our driver helped unload, which was very handy.
All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending Jovada Express for a flat move like ours.

Affordable move a abroad, call them if you need them!
Generally I would highly recommend these guys (we moved from London to Amsterdam). They make an international move somewhat affordable. The only downside is the average communication at times but you can always just give them a call I learned, that works best. They did end up splitting my load as it was over the allowed 1000kg per van so I got the remaining 200kg about 10 days later. That wasn't a problem though as they made me aware of this early so we packed the van in a way that the stuff that had to make it immediately did. I recommend weighing all your stuff if possible yourself before so it won't be a surprise. The vans they use can easily fit more but its a compliance thing so they won't take more than a 1000kg load on the ferry. Generally these guys are great and have a businessmodel where an international move doesn't bankrupt you :)

Excellent professional services
Nikodem and his driver Adam have been fantastic in helping me move a small flat from London to Munich. They have been responsive to my queries and flexible with the move. Adam demostrated professionalism and kindness, readily helping me move boxes from a five-story building without a lift. I would highly recommend Jovada Express services!
