SPC learning
Delivery was clear and concise. Great to learn and widen experience of safeguarding in relation to coaching elements and tasks. The structure of the event was interesting and varied. This maintained focus and learning over the 3 hours. I enjoyed talking with piers from other sports and disciplines.

Safeguarding training course made enjoyable.
Nick was an excellent tutor and facilitator, getting the information across and working with breakout groups to report back to the whole forum.
Good choice of sessions, so I was able to pick one that suited my availability.

I have just wasted my time after 4th…
I have just wasted my time after 4th booked course cancelled after technical issues.
Don’t be fooled by the wide choice of times available. I’ve just received a response stating that ‘tomorrow’s course is nearly full so will definitely go ahead’.
This leads me to the conclusion that uk coaching wait to see how many participants they have and then if not enough they cancel with short notice. This has happened to me 3 times and then the 4th course has just been cancelled due to technical issues which I fully understand can happen.
This model of booking leaves me feeling that uk coaching value their staffs time higher than participants which is bad customer service considering most are likely to be volunteers.
If available I would award 0 stars.

The number of learners that attends our workshops differs by over 100 month on month meaning it can be hard to forecast how many workshops to organise when their capacity is 15. Workshops can't run with low numbers as this would affect the learning experience and we also leave it as long as possible to cancel giving each workshop the best chance of running.
We will review our processes to ensure they run as efficiently as possible for all parties and take your feedback into consideration.
