Ordered online twice from the Kendal branch, both times the delivery was delayed from the date promised on the website. Notification of the delay was always late, so that I had no option to re-order from anywhere else. No problem with the staff or quality of product, but ignore the promised delivery date if ordering online.

Requested cancellation of an order the day after purchase and nearly a month later I still had no refund.

The most frustrating part was not the refund itself, but the poor communication and complete lack of problem-solving from both the branch and customer services.

I repeatedly explained that I could not reliably confirm the exact billing details originally entered into the online form because the invoice provided does not display them and modern payment/autofill systems do not necessarily make those details easy to reproduce later. Instead of properly explaining the process or offering alternatives, I was repeatedly asked the same question over and over again.

Only after escalating to customer services was it finally explained that the billing postcode was allegedly required for manual refund authorisation. That information should have been clearly communicated from the beginning.

I also repeatedly asked what happens to uncollected orders and what the automatic cancellation/refund timescale would be, yet this question was ignored multiple times.

Overall the experience felt unnecessarily difficult, poorly communicated, and badly handled for what should have been a very straightforward cancellation request.

As of right now; 26 days later; I still don't have a refund

Don’t use the weekend hire as they rip you off and bill you for a week.

Hired an excavator (delivered from Cheltenham branch) for a weekend and got charged for a week. When I ordered it I told them I wanted it for the weekend. When they delivered it I told them I wanted it for the weekend. But when I called them on Monday to confirm they would collect it on Monday, they booked it for Tuesday collection and charged me for the week.

Raised it with the local staff and heard nothing back. If I knew they were going to charge me that I would not have let them collect it 5days early.

Excavator was good but I’ll not use TP again.

I have to say the staff at Travis Perkins, Wattstown branch are fantastic. Every time I visit they are so helpful and make purchasing building materials an easy and pleasant experience.

I don't like that they operate in a way that they assume you're going to always be home for them. No SMS, no email, no phone calls... they just deliver without notifying of anything at all. I had to find out they were delivering today by calling them and asking. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been home prepared to receive it.

I (thought) I'd booked a hiring of a beam lifter, only to be told- when I chased it up- that they couldn't source one. I could still be waiting for it now as no one bothered to inform me from the Worksop branch.

Had a delivery on 11th May from St Philips branch, and just like to say the driver Andy was professional, friendly, and ensured the materials were placed carefully and in a convenient location on site.

All items were delivered in good condition, with nothing missing or damaged, which is always appreciated. Communication leading up to the delivery was clear, and the process felt smooth from ordering through to completion.

The recent delivery from Travis Perkins was a very positive experience overall, i would like to see that he received some recognition for his service. Many Thanks Mrs Heath (Yate)

Needed small quantity of bricks to match a damaged wall. Adam, at Travis Perkins Leatherhead went out of his way to help select correct items, sorting through stock to find best match. Nothing was too much trouble, couldn't have been more helpful.

We’re a water feature company and don’t often use Travis Perkins, as one of our other trade accounts is usually closer to the job. We’ve just completed a Chelsea Flower Show garden and used the Battersea branch for this project. Anyone who’s done Chelsea knows the delivery slots are extremely tight, and we had a lot of juggling to do with our deliveries. Harvey at the Battersea branch did an amazing job organising our delivery and making sure it arrived on time, despite us repeatedly changing the available slot due to the logistics of other deliveries. His response time to our email updates was really fast, and he called to confirm everything had been delivered without any issues. I spoke to quite a few people before Harvey to arrange our delivery and everyone was really helpful. Thanks for everything – we’ll definitely use Travis Perkins again.

I have recently started using Travis Perkins and I have to say I am so happy with the service I have received from David Nemeth at the Truro Depot in Cornwall. David has been super helpful, friendly, polite and he goes above and beyond to help. I placed an order with David this week which was delivered today by Giddeon who was equally as brilliant as David. Giddeon represented the company well, was super helpful, polite and friendly. Both David and Giddeon are an asset to the company and its people like these who keep you coming back! I went into Travis Perkins Exeter branch for the first time and i have to say that the staff were extremely helpful. Amy in particular on more than one occasion was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.
When it came to my delivery the guy that delivered to me went above and beyond to position the slabs exactly where I wanted them to go although it meant it was more difficult for him to place them there.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Went to TP Bodmin yesterday and ordered some items to be delivered. Counter staff were very helpful and attentive. Delivery was arranged for this morning.
Kenny arrived about 8.30 and was really helpful.
He carried all that i needed and put either in or just outside of my workshop, going the extra mile with customer service.
Very impressed with TP, whole team deserve a mention.

I needed some sharp sand to Finnish of a job and called into Travis to collect 15 small bags , I was shocked at the price of £93 , although I'm trader ,I couldn't gets any discount because I didn't have a account with them , had I gone back into Reading selco branch it would have cost me approximately £55. Complete rip off

Jeremy the driver was an absolute diamond. He saved me so much work by dropping the delivery into my back garden.
He had to negotiate overhead cables, a 6ft fence and a washing line.
It was amazing to see the skill with which he operated the crane.
I can't praise him enough.

Yes very good top marks AAA+ all staff trade counter and kitchen and bathroom and yard staff at this company both male and female are very helpful. also the delivery drivers an important part of the company aswell as they have to take stuff to all areas locally and have all the hassle of parking and unloading etc.

Andy from Wolverhampton has just delivered materials for our extension. He was polite and courteous and explained the risks around placing the lorry on our block paved drive and suggested an alternative method of offloading the materials onto a position on the drive, which I was more than happy with. He got the delivery completed efficiently. Andy had a lovely manner about him. Very helpful.

Had a fabulous experience with Craig at the Salford TP depot. Craig was extremely helpful, nothing was to much trouble and everything he did was done super fast. Lovely guy to speak to on the phone too. Couldn't fault him at all. Thanks Craig
