Ordered a large quantity of items through our local Andover branch for a Saturday delivery, got a call the day before advising they had no driver and was rearranged for the following Thursday. Thursday came at 4:15 still no sign of the driver, so I rang the branch to be told that they weren’t delivering that day (claimed tyre issues this time) and I should’ve received a call, for which I didn’t. We rebooked it in for the following day, driver turned up and unable to deliver to the required place (though is a narrow entrance, we’ve had multiple other deliveries there). I advised I would ring the depot once a new place could be identified and rearrange it, spoke to someone on the phone who said they would try and get the driver back that day and to put the goods in a different location, however they never called back. The driver didn’t re-attempt the delivery and yard not answering the phone despite trying repeatedly. Including leaving a message (no one ever rang back). My husband tried to then collect the goods from their yard that evening, to be told that they had no suitable pallets, which was a lie because they were in the corner of the yard and the employee just couldn’t be bothered to help. Terrible Service ! avoid!

Raised an order online for delivery and rearranged my work schedule to make sure I was available for delivery. Later got a call saying there was no delivery available for a further 2 days and that it is a known issue with their online system. Do not rely on their website for accuracy!

Been using TP's in Bedford for 4 years now, The service we receive is brillaint, the banter is great. The team at Bedford are brilliant, special mentions for branch manager Alan, and yard manager Dan. Nothing is too much trouble to help a sole trader out. love them

Ordered bulk material on app. Confirmed delivery date of Thursday. Got a phone call next day from Annieland branch to say delivery would be the following Tuesday or Wednesday as they were busy. Staff said not to take any notice of delivery dates offered on app.
Very poor service. Had to cancel order and get from another merchant who delivered next day as needed to start job for customer. Will be closing trade account.

We had 3 large bags and a pallet of cement delivered today (2nd June, 2026). Ricky the driver from the Bristol depot, was great! He was super friendly and professional and managed to deliver the goods in a really tight space.

Travis has been great over the years but are now more expensive than wickes or b and q for plastering goods.i thought this company were a wholesale operator.very poor tp

I would like to thanks all the staff at Forest hill travis perkins in london. I have been working on two major projects for the last year and half and the staff at the depot have been great with answering my email enquiries and providing a good price a very quick delivery times. A special mention to Robert who has been great to deal with.

We had 2 large bags of play bark delivered on Saturday 30th May. Andy from Wolverhampton - the driver who delivered this, was really helpful and professional, he did everything he could to unload the bags in a really awkward place for him, just to make this easier for us to use. Well done Andy, you are a credit to your company.

Never one time have I been able to get an answer on the phone from the Trehafod branch. They're a load of rubbish. Better customer service and cheaper prices elsewhere.

Priced and ordered timber from Lee.....easy peasey.
Delivered by Kenny who knowing my limitations had to carry a number of pieces of 4.8 decking off the truck to where I needed it.
No problem, a hot and bothered Kenny carried this timber across the road, into my drive and stacked it neatly.
Not the first time and hopefully not the last.

Absolutely incredible staff—honest, kind, and truly amazing!I had the most wonderful experience at the Travis Perkins branch on Hampton Road, Croydon (CR0 2YG). I went in to buy some wood this morning (Friday, 29 May 2026) between 7:30 and 8:00 AM and was helped by a brilliant young member of staff who went completely above and beyond. His customer service was amazing, and he helped me out so much with what I needed.Later, after leaving, I realized with absolute panic that I had lost my purse containing all of my money. After searching everywhere, I decided to call the depot. To my immense relief, another fantastic member of staff had found it and kept it safe for me. When I went back to pick it up, every single penny was still inside.It is so reassuring to know there are still such honest, good people out there. The team at this branch are incredibly customer-focused and genuinely amazing. I cannot thank them enough! Amanda

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service and organisation I have experienced regarding my recent paving block order via the Huyton branch.

From the beginning, communication has been poor. After placing the order for paving blocks, I had to repeatedly chase the branch just to obtain a delivery date.

The first delivery was then delayed due to the driver being sick, which, while unfortunate, was not proactively communicated to us. When the pavers finally arrived, many of the pavers were defective and not fit for use. About 50% of the pallet were broken.

After raising a complaint about the broken pavers, I again had to spend considerable time calling and emailing multiple times before receiving any meaningful response. Eventually, the branch agreed to replace the damaged pavers.

Unfortunately, the replacement process has been even worse. The second delivery was delayed because the driver apparently took a last-minute day off. When the replacement order finally arrived, the wrong colour pavers were delivered.

To make matters worse, when I called the branch on the day of delivery, the staff member I spoke to stated, “I’ve had enough of today,” before saying she would call me back. No call was ever received. We then called again later that day and were promised a call back between 7–8am the following morning. Again, no call came.

We then had to make a further five phone calls the next day before finally receiving a response, only to be told that the correct replacement pavers would not arrive for another six days.

This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. The project has now completely stalled, and due to the repeated delays and errors, we have missed the good weather window needed to complete the work.

The lack of communication, repeated delivery failures, incorrect products, and poor customer service throughout this process have been unacceptable. I would strongly urge improvements in both customer communication and order management procedures to prevent other customers experiencing the same issues.

last time I try and buy local. Wanted 4 fence posts delivery before the weekend from Epworth branch. Told they couldn't delivery as not in my area until next Wednesday.
I live in Epworth, 1 minute from the branch.
The drivers not in the area, how are they going to get back.
go to Wickes instead, delivery tomorrow for £4

Delivery driver Jez from the Tewkesbury branch is a star. He delivered to me twice and was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the service I received.

I use the Congleton branch on a daily basis and find the staff very helpful ,there is also a great manager who is on point in providing a great service..👍

Went to Worthing branch today to order decking. Assistant was talking to two customers about stories of bad clients and completely ignored me for 5 minutes so I left and bought my decking elsewhere. Very poor customer service and very rude. I won’t be returning.
