Liana

I had to call to ask for a removal of the broadband from the account and Liana was very professional and explained everything that was needed. Extremely lovely lady to deal with.

Friendly and professional with results

Sofie on customer service was great, explained everything really well and sorted what was needed. This was followed up as requested with a call from the manager David Catchpole who was also very good. Both were always friendly, helpful and professional. Am very pleased 😊

Awful company

Awful company! My elderly brother never agreed a contract with this company but was told by the company he had been transferred to them by BT…this was a couple of years ago. No problems until this last couple of weeks. My brother was receiving fraudulent and nuisance calls per porting to be from his bank. We sorted that with the bank but the calls continued. We contacted Transparent Telecom they agreed to give him a new number. Then after chasing them 3 days later they said they couldn’t give him a new number as they didn’t own the line!
As a family we agreed in order to give him peace of mind we would get the landline disconnected as he now has a new basic mobile and new number (this was easy!).
When I called this company I asked them to disconnect the line because of the issues. The customer services rep said ofcourse he could have a new number and she couldn’t understand why we had been told he couldn’t we provided her with the names f previous customer services people we had spoken with.
I informed her it was too late as we had made alternative arrangements and told her the DD had been stopped and to cease the service. She told me there would be a charge to ‘cease’ the number …this charge would be £99! I told her that as he does not have a contract with Transparent Telecom we would not be paying this fee. I also told her to ensure all comms were done through me to reduce the anxiety for my brother. Today not only is the phone still connected and nuisance calls being receive he has received a letter from them telling him he must pay this disconnection fee. We have now removed all landline handsets. Despicable practice! I will be following up….UPDATE. DESPITE being asked not to contact my brother and engage through me they still send a letter to him demanding the disconnection fee of £99. My partner wrote to them via email, explaining how they had not met their contractual obligations. Within 5 days Amy sent an email apologising on behalf of the company and agreed to disconnect the phone line and cancel the disconnection charge.

Very polite and sorted out what I needed very quick and gave me good advice and very sympathetic about my wife passing away thank you so much could not have been sorted out that quick if they no what they are doing excellent service

Customer support

I contacted customer support as there was an error on my invoice and Tamzin dealt with the matter very promptly and credited my account accordingly

The people's champ

Ellie was fantastic; so polite and professional whilst dealing with my payment query, showing real initiative, a compassionate side and the willingness to correct the issue to make sure I was impacted as little as possible. Lovely speaking to someone so well suited to helping others and putting the customer first🥇

Ellie was fantastic

Ellie was fantastic. As soon as I rang she got straight on to fixing the problem.
She was so professional. Then had a phone of an update to let me know if was back on. 10/10 for her.

Helpful Tamsin!

Tamsin has been very helpful in dealing with my queries. I have dealt with Tamsin before regarding issues related to our phone, Internet and connectivity. This time it was an Internet issue, which happily has now been resolved. Tamsin is always polite and helpful which helps a lot when you have lost contacts or connectivity and feeling a bit stressed! Much more helpful than BT! Keep up the good work!
