Tobi was so nice she helped us a lot to sort out the things. we were new to the country she was kind enough to answer all our questions. She was always available to help us if not she made sure to call back us. We are so thankful for her service

TLG are so friendly and helpful. I've been with them in the past and was delighted to find out that they would be managing our new rental. I'd like to give a special shout out to Tobi who was warm and efficient. She answered questions promptly and regularly checked in to see how things were going. I really appreciate all the team's help and patience (I can be a bit demanding and ask lots of questions!) They've been fantastic so far.

Interacted in a friendly manner with great care. Provide information about procedures. Showed the property clearly and explained everything very well.

Tobi was exceptional in her service when compared with other agents I met during our house hunt in Bristol City.

She provided updates from the first day we met for viewing the property until we eventually got a suitable moving date. Also
she supported until our references were safely completed.

Annabelle has been an absolutely amazing help from the beginning! She was lovely when we first met and was very helpful when showing us the property and answering any questions we had. She has continued to be an amazing help throughout the whole process and has definitely made everything a lot smoother for us both.

Tobi hosted an excellent virtual tour of the property and also the area outside to give us an idea of the neighbourhood - this was very helpful as we live 3 hours away. She also sent us a recording of the tour which we were able to share with our son who was travelling at the time. The process of getting approval for me to act as a guarantor is contracted out to Goodlord - I found this process a bit over the top to be honest.

Excellent interaction when sorting our house. Quick communications and super friendly

Multiple unauthorised entries to my property from contractors and the landlord (arranged by TLG) whilst I was home and unaware of any scheduled visits taking place. I had reiterated countless times to them that access is only ever granted when they receive my written permission. They take no accountability, and still don't. I had contact from them EVERY single month from 03/22 - 09/23 because they don't repair things properly or quickly or care for your quiet enjoyment of the property. Heard one of the agents talk about me to my neighbours, below my window. Have never felt assured in any way about their consideration to me as a tenant (a woman living on my own who had random men let themselves into my property unnannounced 6 times, with further times having keys tried in the door because TLG hadn't informed them which front door to go to). They're passive aggressive, deceitful, evasive and unhelpful. Slow to reply and slow to fix things. Had a leak for 2.5 months pouring from ceiling above the front door, was not even fixed adequately up until my final day of tenancy. Surprisingly quick to respond on TrustPilot. When it comes down to it, they don't follow legalities and seemingly make it up as they go along. They withheld an overpaid rent payment due back to me, out of spite. All maintenance issues will need to be chased up repeatedly by yourself as the tenant to remind them. They don't value your space that you're paying for, are happy to give your contact details to people freely even when you have withdrawn your consent numerous times. They accidentally released 200+ peoples' email addresses last year and I've been incorrectly contacted with my neighbours' information (also managed by them) previously. I believe they only have money and a 'relaxed' work environment at the centre of their focus and not much else. The branding is all a nice facade though.

10/10 - great move-in experience. Quick and easy.

Absolutely nothing positive to say about this company. They supposedly fully 'check' each property before the commencement of a tenancy to see if anything is broken. This couldn't be further from the truth.

Upon moving into her new flat, my girlfriend quickly realised that the flat downstairs was a drug den. The Letting Game 100% would have known this, you only have to spend 10 minutes stood outside the property to see the barrage of rabid crack heads banging on the door screaming for their fix, threatening to stab anyone in their path. What kind of letting agent would want this property on their books? And not inform a lone woman renting on her own about the dangerous antics of her downstairs neighbour? It is a truly terrifying place to live and the Letting Game should be ASHAMED of themselves.

Not only this, but my girlfriends entire flat smells of chemicals from whatever drug production is going on downstairs; the boiler was broken upon moving in so no hot water; the shower wouldn't work; the vent in the bathroom wouldn't turn off; they informed her she was with the wrong gas company so she is now in arrears; cupboard doors hanging off; no plugs in any sinks; and most recently the fridge is leaking coolant so is unusable let alone dangerous. The list is ENDLESS.

It's impossible to get hold of the property manager for an update - they really couldn't care less about the wellbeing of tenants. Absolutely no sense of urgency. I will never rent from the Letting Game and shall be sharing my experience with everyone I know.

Called your agency to book a house, was assured that I would receive a call today for a viewing. Surprise, surprise, that was a complete lie! Day 2, I try again, and the simple response is, 'we're fully booked, but we'll put you on the waiting list.' Obviously missed the window there coz of VERY incompetent employees there. If this is the way you treat your customers or potential customers, then I'm sorry, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Quick and easy, very responsive

My dealings with the Letting game were as a tenant. They managed the initial transfer of keys and viewings and then the release of my deposit and return of keys on move out.
My move in process was generally okay and I didn't have many issues.
Where things took a turn for the worse was with the checkout.
Firstly, there was a lot of confusion related to the key return. I returned the keys out of hours through their post hole, but then received:
1) An email saying I shouldn't have returned the keys to them (despite my landlord having agreed prior that this would be the course of action)
2) A call stating that they can't find the keys>
This issue got eventually resolved, but at some degree of frustration to me.
We then moved onto the deposit return.
This once more was plagued with issues.
Despite me being the lead tenant and having literally signed the deposit scheme document as the lead tenant, the letting game managed to somehow mess up the document and put in my housemates name as the lead tenant (despite me having prior communications stating that I would be the lead tenant and them taking MY SIGNATURE for the deposit).
The letting game refused to send the deposit back to me and when I called out that they messed up the document they proceeded to ignore me.
The deposit was later received by my housemate, however they refused to acknowledge that they messed up.
Speaking of communication, the email communication with this company (on leaving the property) was... terrible. I'm not sure if they have a strict 1 email per person perday policy or something of the like, but that's exactly the type of communication I received.

I don't know much about how they deal with landlords or properties that they actually manage, however my experience with them was not particularly pleasant.
I only rate it a 2 since the initial process of me booking a viewing and getting into the property was relatively smooth.

Really friendly staff who have been very efficient in getting everything sorted for us.

The letting game has been the easiest and most personable letting agency we have worked with in Bristol! They are friendly, timely, clear on information, and we have never felt ignored. We have met and interacted with so many different estate agents including the one we have been with for over 2.5 yrs and The Letting Game has by far been the best!
