Zoe was a great agent. although we didn’t go through with an application, throughout the viewing she was attentive, knowledgeable and eager to get questions answered for you even when she didn’t know. Super super friendly and could’ve have asked for a better first experience with the company

I tried to call but no answer so used the online booking tool to book a valuation at a specific date & time. I received a call the following day from Taylor to tell me that that the tool is not a booking tool and is simply a trigger for a call back, and to arrange a valuation over the phone.
We discussed my flat in Hotwells and agreed a time and date to meet, however Taylor went to a similarly named flat in Filton (although we had specifically discussed Hotwells), and then told me neither she nor her only colleague could meet again for a week. Mistakes occur but I had expected her to try and make up for it in some way by squeezing an an appointment as soon as possible, given she had gone to the wrong address.
I can see the reviews are steadily getting worse, from both landlords and tenants. I should have looked at the Trustpilot first.
A disappointing experience - hard to recommend.

I had nothing short of a fantastic experience with the letting game this past week. I went for a viewing on Wednesday with Zoe, who was so incredibly lovely, helpful and she answered all of my many, MANY questions! She was very informative about the area and all aspects of the property which was incredibly useful and she allowed me to take my time with the viewing when I needed to which was amazing. It was very clear that she had a great knowledge of the landlords of the property and even explained how lovely they were which was incredibly reassuring. Zoe went above and beyond, chatting to me about her personal experiences which really helped as this whole process can feel extremely stressful! It was really lovely to chat to her and really made the experience that much better, thank you Zoe for your reassurance and kindness!

Amy was kind and helpful and answered all our questions about the property. After the viewing forms were sent over promptly and everything went simply and smoothly.

Zoe was lovely; very accommodating by arranging it on a Saturday morning and was able to answer all my questions. She was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual as well as the letting game in general getting back to me super quickly after requesting a viewing. No complaints!

The Letting Game have been speedy and helpful throughout the process of viewing a house, submitting an offer and sorting referencing checks. The fast turnaround time after we submitted an offer was really appreciated.

Poor check out cost me money, poor communication with rent dispute and as a landlord I’m unable to dispute the results

Regrettably, I must add to the growing number of negative reviews for this company. In hindsight, I deeply regret not consulting Trustpilot before engaging with them. We were thrilled to have found a property we liked and were selected by the landlord to move in. Unfortunately, The Letting Game's prolonged processing of our application has left us in a difficult position. Due to the delay, we no longer have enough time to provide notice at our current residence, forcing us to withdraw from the process altogether. When we inquired about the status, we were informed that our application was not prioritized due to their handling of numerous other properties. With less than a month remaining before the scheduled move-in date, we have yet to receive any confirmation or communication from their team. We are thoroughly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and communication and will be notifying the landlord directly of these issues. It is truly disheartening to experience such poor service from a business in this industry. They also refuse to return our deposit. Very bad business. Not ethical, far from what you'd want as your point of contact as letting agents.

Absolutely diabolical. As a landlord that has used The Letting Game for the past three years, ignoring tenants saying they were no good, I have now found out the hard way how atrocious they really are.
I am now with Bristol Residential Letting Agency as I was forced by The Letting Game to change agents as there one and only relet person Tracey was never available to take my call or call me back.
I was told she was in training all day, off sick (after being told that she would contact me by a member of staff) in meetings all day. Never did call me back after waiting and waiting. My house could have been let alot sooner.
If this is how they treat Landlords I dread to think how they treat tenants 🤔

Its a shame I have to give this company 1 star as they are not deserving of even that !!! I actually feel like I have had a narrow escape from being scammed out of money and reminiscent of the old pushy window sales reps that cold called demanding you paid up front for something you were not even sure you wanted yet !!! But the biggest worry are the blatant lies they told between potential Landlord and Tenant absolutely shocking !!! Renting a property is expensive and a huge commitment for Landlord and Tenant and I would advise all Landlords or potential Tenants to AVOID this company knowing what I know about them !!!!! LIARS to extort money that they have no intention of refunding is equal to SCAMMING in my book
