This company is shameful. They promised a property in a condition that they have been unable to deliver and refuse to communicate with either the tenants or their guarantors as to how the long list of issues are going to take to get resolved. Kieren is meant to be our point of contact and deliberately avoids responding to calls and emails. Whenever you call the HQ nobody answers. The property is barely habitable i.e. no useable shower or bath, amongst a dozen other issues, but presumably because they have paying tenants, they don't care. My son and his co-tenants are at their wits end and so am I. Utter disgrace.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We’re sorry that the property was not in the condition your son was expecting and can understand the frustrations around this. All maintenance requirements post the previous tenant were being reviewed by the landlord and undertaken by his own contractors. Clearly, there were a number of issues raised on day 1, including cooking and washing facilities - we were able to get the landlord’s contractor to ensure those in particular were usable that day. The plumbing-related issues were not known by ourselves until raised by the new tenants, once raised we sourced and provided quotes to the landlord, who then wanted his own plumber to quote. This additional quote has been provided to the landlord and we’re awaiting approval (which we’re chasing.) All work has to be approved by the landlord before it can commence, and Kieran is seeking their support to resolve any remaining issues.
Once again we apologise and will continue to work with the tenants and the landlord to resolve these issues.

Jemma was very friendly and informative during my viewing. The process of renting was very smooth. I have been struggling to find a place to move into in such a short period of time but have finally found a place that I am happy with!

The whole experience was a disaster
The whole experience was a disaster. They gave 1 key to the downstair door, when the flat is for 3 People. On entering the flat, it was was obvious no surface had been cleaned for a long time. Inside the drawers were filthy and one set had underwear still in them. One of the beds had a mattress cover with two large stains on it.
None of the repairs had been completed, broken toilet seat, hole in the door to the outside that was in a bedroom. In the hall was a broken chair with a shoe rack that looked like some form of larvae on the rack.
The list is endless, but the above can give you some idea of the condition of the flat. The biggest problem was The Letting Game, they were impossible to get in contact with, no answer to the phone or email.
Six days later a email was received from a different company stating they are to take over the flat.
I know that property can be hard to find, but this would be the last company I would go with.

Poor Customer Service
Really poor customer service for landlords. High staff turnover and very slow in getting back to questions and emails. Frustrating dealing with them especially when there a problems. But of course, happy to bill the landlord !

Great service from Jemma
Contacted the agency to arrange a viewing last Tuesday, but was unable to make the suggested same day time owing to the need to commute between cities. Jemma took my contact details and called me again on Friday to say the place I was looking at is still available and arranged a same day viewing. When I arrived, Jemma was very friendly and professional, and took any questions I had. Was able to sort out the holding deposit on the same day to secure the place. Great service! Thank you Jemma and the Letting Game.
A (minor) negative is that the referencing forms are not clear on what information to put if you are moving city to start a new job after graduation.
