Told i could get treatment on insurance only to find out that BUPA do not cover any work done at this facility.

Very happy with my visit to the clinic.
Straight forward and informative.
Friendly staff and informative given for after care.
I would recommend The Harley Street Clinic.

IT IS A SCAM
I was dealing with a skin problem for about a year and thought this would be the best place to go to finally figure out what the problem was (and to cure it). This “dr” took notes gave me some cream and said she would book me in for a test in a couple weeks.
So I paid £300 for the consultation and waited for my next appointment. The day before they call me and tell me it has been cancelled because the “dr” needed some time off. Over the next few weeks I contacted them many times about this and was assured that I was a priority and I would be able to come in soon once the “dr” was available.
It’s been nearly a year and I have heard absolutely nothing.
Although my problem has been solved elsewhere now, it should be noted how bad this place is.
PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IT IS A SCAM AND A WASTE OF MONEY

This place is a scam. I went in to have a wart removed and the consultation was £296, refunded if you have treatment immediately. The consultation was a joke, I wasn't even examined. I understood the costs were going to be from £295 but was presented with 2 options - £699 for one type of treatment and £1,299 for the other.

Don't go there - I wish I'd been more questioning

Unclear why my review was deleted (from 2022) but overall terrible experience and left feeling like a cashcow.

The Harley Street Healthcare Clinic at 96 Harley Street is truly awful. The downstairs shared waiting room looks lovely but go upstairs to their hovel and it looks more akin to a laundrette on a backpacker route in Thailand.

I had to wait 45 mins to even be seen!

Extortionate money printers at work here who were trying to keep hold of me by slashing their prices (still to ridiculous levels) which just goes to show what a bunch of money grabbing crooks they are with the first prices. When I asked more I found out how lacking in transparency they were and just how extortionate it was going to become. I walked out before they got a penny off me.

For mole removal I recommend going to Europe where they do a better service for a fifth of the price.

I had the worst experience in your clinic. I booked an appointment for rapid hair loss on the 3rd August. I paid £280 for 2 mins I was in the room. The doctor didn't even examine my head. She just gave me a lotion & threw me out of the room. She said she would send me a letter with what blood tests I need. I requested that letter so many times till I receive it 1.5 week later when this was super urgent. I now lost my hair & cannot go to my office. She could have prescribe tablets to me but she didn't even examine me. How she knew what I have or not!! This is totally unacceptable to me when I paid all this money & I was not even examined!!

I had a lovely mandelic peel last week and prp on my hands. My clinicians Vilma and Tay were excellent and I felt in very capable hands. I will definitely be booking more treatments!

I booked an appointment with the clinic which was easy and quick. I had to reschedule, which again was done very quickly over the phone, so I was pleased with my interactions with the clinic.

I then got ill and had to cancel, there were no issues as before. However, I waited a week and didn't get a refund. I followed up with them and they issued a refund, which makes me believe they weren't planning to process the refund or completely forgot. This is where it was disappointing as this should have been done automatically after cancellation, rather than having to chase. No apology was received either for not issuing the refund earlier.

Update: I got the refund and I'm now receiving emails saying I need to pay for my appointment which I never had. Very bad system processes and annoying to have to deal with this, doesn't reflect good on the clinic.

A commercial set up, profit before patients.

We've had a terrible experience, they cancelled two appointments with two separate doctors on two separate days just hours before.

They check how much money they can make out of you and which patients would be most profitable for them, these patients get prioritised and the other paying patients who have been waiting but not as profitable get cancelled and given a different date.

This is as low as any medical clinic could possibly sink.

This is a ruthless business (can't call it anything else) has very ambitious expansion plans, they use a powerful name like "The Harley Street" then they sign up one or two top consultants for a short period of time to make the setup appear better than what it is.

You ring up to make an appointment with that top consultant, and they make a fake appointment for you, they then wait till the day of the appointment and ring you up to cancel it giving you a pathetic excuse, they then offer a new appointment with someone you've never heard of before.
Get my drift...

Praying on vulnerable and ill patients to make your profits is totally unethical and should not be allowed.

Formal complaints have been logged with the ombudsman, GMC & the care and quality commission.
As well as a report to Bupa.

Cannot recommend the team at The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic enough! They made me feel as ease the whole appointment, they were patient with all my questions and gave me the exact piece of mind that I was looking to get out of my appointment. Very pleased with the service!

I couldn't recommend this clinic highly enough. They are very friendly and relaxed at the same time as professional. They are extremely knowledgeable, they explained everything very clearly to my daughter and me. The session worked really well online as well. Also the medicine came the next day so all round we're very happy. I have been on two separate occasions for separate issues and both times it's been a very good experience.

I visited the Harley Street Dermatology Clinic in a state of great distress over hair loss. Dr Friedmann was understanding, caring, and explained the treatment options, possible outcomes, and duration of treatment. I left the clinic relieved and with a clear treatment pathway. Follow-up care was provided with face-to-face consultations and e-mail, meaning no waiting time for advice. The treatment was an unmitigated success. I cannot recommend Dr Friedmann highly enough.

I cannot praise The Harley Street Dermatology Clinic enough! The telephone staff are excellent over the phone and extremely helpful and accommodating! Equally, staff during one's appointment are always polite, helpful, kind and professional. It is my 2nd consultation with Dr Friedmann that took place in early March 2020. Despite being fully booked, the Clinic did their utmost ensure I was seen that week. I highly recommend Dr Friedmann who has been excellent in examining me and thorough. Additionally, he has been understanding, empathetic and professional to my circumstances. I will continue to have consultations with Dr Friedmann when I feel it is needed and would definitely /highly recommend!

I saw Dr Abha Gulati twice in 2019. In the first appointment she was confident that I had seborrheic dermatitis which she prescribed some creams for. She told me to give them a go for a month and see what happens. I applied them religiously but sadly they didn't work so I went back for a second appointment (which was about 5 minutes). In this appointment she assessed that it must in fact be rosacea as it could not possibly be anything else. Sadly again the treatments prescribed have not worked.

To be honest, I'm really disappointed because I spent well over £500 with this so called expert skin clinic but they had no idea how to treat my skin issue, it seemed more like guess work at my expense. My skin has now deteriorated further and there was zero follow up. Would not recommend at all.

I was absolutely delighted with my session with Dr Adam Friedmann. At 53, my facial skin has noticeable dark spots and patches from the sun and age. Dr Friedmann took the time to patiently examine these and to explain the possible causes and the options to reduce or eliminate the dark spots. He clearly told me one of the treatments is not likely to work on some of the spots and suggested a topical cream. He then treated some spots with cryotherapy, with a follow up review in 4 weeks. As Dr Friedmann has warned me, there was a slight stinging sensation on the treated skin which lasted only 3 or so hours. I am particularly impressed with Dr Friedmann's honest assessment, recommending the correct and best treatment for me. The clinic is in a great accessible location and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. This clinic is highly recommended if you are looking for a professional and friendly service.
