Fantastic place let down by other visitors
The place it's self was fantastic easy to book with a 5 minute wait but we where early so not a problem. The down side we found was a family on a different lane who had 4 of the lighter balls for children who was not willing to part with one of them so my child was upset by having to use a heavier ball. There where no reason why they could not give us the ball but was told no when asked.

Dissatisfied with bowling at castleford.
We had a lot of fun bowling but the reason we gave a 3 was because the finger holes were not wide enough. All the lanes were full so we couldn't swap any bowling balls with others. The lane next to us had alot of young people but they didn't have any wide finger bowling balls. Also there was alot of chips in the bowling balls. When we go out we are not very competitive, we go out to have a good laugh and lots of fun which we did but the experience could have been better

Not enough staff serving ....
Not enough staff serving ..... receptionist tried her best ...... but the girl who served us, incorrect drinks on both occasions and was just sooo v miserable, whilst serving us.
The bowling lane didn't have working barriers for my nephew, even though booked in advance. Won't go back there.

Enjoyable game
I played two games with my 12 year old grandson and we enjoyed it very much. It helped when he could use the bumpers which meant he beat me at both games. It was his birthday so it made his day. He also beat me on karting track!

Value for money and fun. However,
Long queues for checking in (even though prebooked, still had to wait for a lane) and even longer wait for drinks.
Balls getting stuck regularly at the bottom of the lane and waiting an age for staff to free them.

Bowling was great, could do with more separation for the next lane so my family could enjoy the experience without the feeling of being watched.

Family outing
As usual we had a good experience at Tenpin . Staff were polite and helpful the bowling areas were clean and well looked after the toilets were very clean . And we can't wait for the Wakefield venue to open

Bowling was good
Bowling was good, booked online for a curtain but wasnt ready for another 30 min nd not enough staff on desk as 1 staff member was running the bar and bowling desk waited 15min to get served

Lost time in the hour we paid for.
We paid for an hour's play between 4 of us, the clock ticks down and we thought we would get 2 full games in, however the pins got tangled for around 7 minutes which was sorted but we thought the clock would stop whilst this work happened, it didn't so effectively we only got around 53 minutes and couldn't finish the second game... I think the clock should be paused in these situations...also we got a pizza with barely any cheese on it.
