Won't give refunds
Bought a few items online and needed to return one of the items as it wasn't right. Went to the store (click and collect counter) and was told to come back after lockdown as they were not giving refunds at this time. So make sure you order correctly as you won't get a refund until the lockdown lifts. Who knows when that will be.
Never...ever...again
I ordered clothes for my sons' camp 14 days in advance. They shipped 7 days from my son's camp. Most of the order is coming from literally the other side of the country. Why Target? Now I had to drive to Mackay - a 5-hour return trip - to buy the things for my son's camp and now I'm out $700 instead of the original $350. And then I got an email that an item was out of stock. If I was designated to my closest warehouse, I would be more understanding. But are you telling me, you are willing to ship me stuff from the furthest point of Australia to me, BUT THAT ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY? Just... I don't understand. A rubbish experience and I will NEVER shop at your store again. Even if you were the last place on Earth during a zombie apocalypse, I would rather fight zombies nude, with my chest puppies flying than go into your store for supplies.
Dreadful experience shopping online
Dreadful experience shopping online. A Lego set I had been wanting for some time went on sale. I ordered it immediately to ensure I didn’t miss out. Item arrived and they sent the wrong one. It now says sold out online and I can’t get any assistance to advise if I will get the correct replacement despite multiple attempts to get an answer. I just want to know if I need to order elsewhere because it’s selling out in other stores too. I’m also told it can take 2-3 weeks once they receive the wrong item back to get my refund if they do need to refund me! I will never order online again. I accept mistakes happen but the customer service is dreadful to non existent.

Was offered a $10 discount for first order but when you go through check out process there is no where to input voucher code so you don't actually get a $10 misleading and false advertising.
Missing PlayStation 5
Ordered a PlayStation 5 on July 9th which was shipped from their VIC warehouse to Target Broadway and has since gone missing. Neither Target nor the Courier, CourierPlease seem to know where my order is.
Both have been totally clueless in dealing with this.
Worst online shopping experience ever!
Target online shopping nightmare!
Ordered some Lego Technic to get us through school holidays in lockdown. Courier loses the parcel, spend two weeks chasing it down via courier and Target. Package finally arrives (damaged) today and it's not even the Lego set we ordered! Now I have to try to get this one returned and who knows how long it will take to get a refund or ever get our hands on what we originally ordered. Dealing with Target is a nightmare, will NEVER order online through them again.
Stay DOWN stockings.
I always bought my stay up stockings at target. 2 pairs $10.. loved them.
Now you've changed them. $16, and although I like the actual stocking, the stay up bit is nothing like the old style.
They WILL NOT STAY UP.
So embarrassing when one fell to my ankle on a night out.
I've rinsed them and they still won't stay up.

If I could write no star I will!!! Ordered a click and collect for a gift they get the money worth 198.$ and later they told me my order could not be processed! They thought I’m not the one ordering?!!!! That is why I choose a store to collect it!!!!! And now I have to wait 3-5 BUSINESS day for it to be refunded on my account. Well Done TARGET. The event was today!!!! What if That’s the only money I’ve got???? Should I tell the celebrant wait for 3-5 Days?????!!!!!! Nice customer service!!!!
Terrible online experience, deletes honest reviews without reason!
I had a really bad purchase experience. I won't go into it here. Trust it was bad enough to warrant multiple attempts of contact and feedback.
I get a request to review the product online, I write the review. I say the product was okay, some parts were low quality - but overall the purchase experience was really bad. The review process even asks questions about this!! It was not a 1-star review either, it was fair for the product but mentioned, without emotion or detail, that the online purchase experience was far from perfect.
I get an email the next day "Target values your feedback....but your review doesnt meet our T&C's". No detail why, no guidance how to fix. Just blocked.
What a hamfisted and blatant attempt to manipulate product reviews. It has the added benefit of seriously upsetting people! After this, and no feedback to acknowledge the bad experience, we're now at zero-trust.
Its a big, big brand, it's hard to manage everyone's expectations. I get it. But clearly you have the resources to moderate and block negative reviews, an interesting choice of where to put resources given you couldn't respond to any of my contact attempts to just give feedback on the bad experience. A neat way to make a disappointed but reasonable customer into something far more destructive and vocal.
Placed and paid for an online order…
Placed and paid for an online order over a month ago and I still have not received the goods and have no answers as to when I will receive or what happened to my order. Very frustrating. I will be asking for a full refund and shopping elsewhere in future, which is a shame as I have always been a loyal target customer and liked the products.
Ordering online and collecting in store is so good when they’re out of stock!
Thank goodness for the click and collect service! I relied on it during lockdown and even now, I still use it when my local store is out of whatever I went to buy (so always...). It’s so nice to just get whatever you like delivered to the store and collect it at your leisure. Of course I do get home delivery too, but I find click and collect to be faster often.
Target online is a waste of time
Waste of time, every time. Ordered click and collect for same day collection multiple times and every SINGLE time I get either no emails or response for a week or more, or I get an email saying they no longer have the item and I now have to wait a week or more for them to source it. Ordered other items and they arrived missing items, or broken. Target is so low quality now.
Awful service
I ordered a doll's pram a week before Easter and till now it hasn't arrived at the local Target store in Armadale post code 6112 and the item is being sent from its Morley store !!! On checking today and wanting to cancel the order and get a refund am told item is too far progressed to cancel now yet they cannot give me a definite date of when the item will be available for pick up at the Armadale (6112 post code) store and its being shipped from their Morley store!! Bad crappy appalling service. The litlle girl who i bought this for has had her birthday and have replaced this with another doll's pram . To anyone else wanting to buy anything from Target online be warned. Awful service on the ground and from the online team. Must post to the Media about this and the ombudsman. Awful terrible service.
I order Batmobile Lego online
I order Batmobile Lego online. The box is damaged and seal with a scotch tape. In the first point, why the staff has packed a damaged box to customer. Will never recommanded to shop at Target online again.
Don’t buy online
I honestly wish I had read this page before trying to order online. I used a gift card to purchase items for my son. The online system had issues, it used money on my gift card but my order didn’t go through. Spoke to customer service on the 15/03/2021 and they said they would refund me using EFT. I send them my details and guess what, I still haven’t gotten my refund. When I ask them they say I should check with my financial institution because the money was transferred. My bank said it would have been in my account by now if they transferred on the 19/03. I lost $100 and still waiting for my money. Who do I report them to?
Great customer service at Target Hay st Perth…
I shopped twice at Target Hay st Perth in the last week. The customer service was exceptional both time. Staff saw be struggling to carry my items and help me to the counter and went to the trouble of finding a box. They were happy friendly and eager to help.

Do not order furniture or heavy items from Target Online. It will not arrive within the ‘due date’ they give you and their customer service is terrible and useless.
They also charge you $39 shipping fee. It’s not worth it for a cheap-looking product. I’ll be returning it once it finally arrives.

wow target is the worst on line shopping you can do. do not get teh goods and they refuse to refund the money. Is this even legal? they say it is! so unhelpful no responsibility taken from them.

MISLEADING CUSTOMERS WITH ADVERTISING!
I WAS previously extremely happy with Target online but a true show of poor customer service and misleading statements became very apparent at Christmas time... this is my experience:-
Target SPECIFICALLY advertised to consumers to order online before the 15th December cut off, to ensure orders would arrive before Christmas Day (many of my attempted orders for my children's intended presents were being refunded in the month leading up to Christmas as stores had massive stock and supply issues and quite understandably so), but I put my last order through; having first confirmed it was all in stock and instead of going to their competitor, but after only receiving part of my order, the rest didn't arrive until later in January. My follow up emails would receive standardized responses, being that "it's on the way" and "it's expected to arrive within the next few days" (which, was then actually weeks later), and then absolutely no reply whatsoever from Couriers Please when attempted to contact them directly until after the fact. I finally received a very late reply (was stated to be within 2 working days) advising "it's been delivered". Well thank you for stating the obvious! THAT'S MASSIVELY MISADVERTISING TARGET and you've contravened the Trades Practices Act 1974. Sneaky way to take customers money and boost your December figures indeed... if you cannot / did not deliver on that arrangement you entered into then you should have immediately refunded me (instead of money grabbing and having my children's Christmas presents arrive late) and I would have most happily shopped elsewhere, with your competitor!
