We're celebrating our 3rd anniversary as Swift Holiday Owners. The service provided by Swift, especially the mobile maintenance team, with a special thanks to Phil Green. He got us out of our comfortable bed at 7.45 am, to replace a faulty piece of ceramic ware. We persuaded him to have one cup of coffee. He was on his way to his next job by 9.40 am. An excellent job and we're delighted with the outcome.
We can't close our review without commending the Warranty Office ladies for their Slick telephonic skills.
Excellent all round for SWIFT. Thanks from David and wife Marilyn.

Start your engines…. Thank you to Swift for a fabulous day out at PF International, possibly one of the biggest karting tracks I’ve ever seen. What an excellent idea from the Swift Team to their dealers, as a proper team building event, also with great interaction from Dealer to Dealer. Lovely to see some regular faces and meet some new people. You don’t get this within the industry from any other Motorhome manufacturer. Well done Swift and thank you from Jonty
Swift Engineer Phil Green ...best of the best.
Swift Engineer Phil Green made a visit to replace an item as part of our Swift Static Caravan warranty period. Phil was again very polite and courteous. Phil also made some adjustments to our door which he noted was not opening as smoothly as it should be. We are extremely grateful for his professional experience in identifying these items which does rectify common little faults that we as owners may tend to ignore, but to Phil these little faults are important and need to be rectified as it ensures the high quality Swift brand is being maintained. We believe Phil is a long serving engineer for Swift and we know and are thankful that we are being served by Swifts best of the best.
DO NOT BUY A SWIFT CARAVAN
Very disappointing experience with Glossop Caravans/ Swift Celebration SE.
We purchased a Swift Celebration SE caravan in July 2023, and since then it has suffered from a wide range of faults, including:
• Microwave failure on first use
• External leg bending during normal use
• Cupboard doors repeatedly needing adjustment
• Sofa cushion tearing due to a manufacturing fault
• Heating system failure (resulting in a cancelled holiday)
• Sofa bed runners failing
• Front door lock failure (causing another cancelled holiday)
• Bathroom tap becoming disconnected
• Kitchen tap no longer supplying water
• Shower door not functioning correctly
• External decals peeling
• Discolouration to the rear panel
• Structural stress fractures to the rear of the caravan
While some of these issues have been repaired, the sheer number and frequency of faults clearly demonstrate a lack of quality and durability.
In particular, structural stress fractures should not occur on a caravan of this age, and this raises serious concerns about overall build quality.
What is most frustrating is the response from Glossop Caravans. Rather than acknowledging the overall pattern of faults, each issue is treated in isolation and considered “resolved”, despite the continued disruption, cancelled holidays, and complete loss of confidence in the caravan.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and durable. Based on our experience, this caravan has failed to meet those standards.
Aftersales support has been poor, and no fair or reasonable resolution has been offered.
I would not recommend based on our experience.

Poor Poor Poor …. Do not expect any after sales service from this company! There website states after sales is dealt by “ Swift Group offers comprehensive after-sales support for caravans and motorhomes through their Approved Service Centre network or via My Swift portal!!! All this is un true as I have telephoned two different local Swift dealers to try and book my caravan in with a warrenty claim and both stated if I do not have an account with them they cannot deal with me as they are not taking on any new customers and suggested I contact Swift direct to which I did through the my Swift portal and they kindly emailed back stating that the part that I have a fault with is made by alko and I should contact them direct!!!!! OMG if I had a fault with my Ford car and said I had a problem with the steering wheel do you think they would say we don’t make them we buy them in from someone else ring them! Really!

Crack on roof…
Our swift has cracks on the outside of the roof. It's not under warranty. So what is??
Yes it's hidden so customers can't see. Also need to be upfront when you say a guarantee

Guttering.
Guttering came down in November snow and damaged canexel panels. Andy W called and has agreed to replace the damaged panels, and also all the screws on the gutter brackets as Swift specifications have changed requiring longer fixings.
Wayne attended our premises to sort out…
Wayne attended our premises to sort out a few issues on our new Swift Kon-tiki 784. He could not have been more helpful, courteous, and very professional.
Thanks to him the motorhome is now where it should have been in the 1st Place ….. thank you Wayne
Professional and Diligent team.
Phil G and Dave visited today to sort some snags on new lodge. Clearly an experienced team who cared to make sure job was done right, completed in a professional manner and left clean and tidy.

Great service
Needed a wall board replacing due to a stain. Andy W came to fix it for us. He did a great job, was super helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Stuart was efficient and personable, he completed the jobs that needed to be done very well. The only negative is that the company couldn't specify a time for the visit.

Swift engineer Stuart came this morning to fixed a problem with my bedside lamp, very friendly, professional nothing to much trouble left the bedroom very clean

I had an issue with our new caravan and…
I had an issue with our new caravan and despite going to the dealer I was being told it could take weeks. We had only bought it 7 days prior so we couldn’t understand why a simple job (We needed a strip on the roof) had turned into such a big job.
However, Swift stepped up and sent an engineer to my house to fix it on my driveway. No waiting or having to transport it to the dealer and leave it for days. Swift came and fixed the issue no problem.
The engineer (Wayne) who arrived, gave us fantastic customer service from the moment I spoke to him to the moment he arrived at my front door and was very friendly. It really was service with a smile.
So, Would I recommend Swift? 1000%. I am very happy.
Thank you to Wayne and the team over there at Swift, you excelled yourselves.

we own 2019 swift eccles 580…
we own 2019 swift eccles 580 anniversary edition (a replacement for the i rolled) lovely designed caravan with an end bathroom very well built and airy plenty of space for all your gear better shower cubicle than our last one even though it was a sterling jewel, we had a problem with the hidden sentry unit so i rang swift who put me in touch with sentry in woodmansy i went and collected the item and it was an easy fit plug and play after i found its secret location i couldn't fault swifts help in the matter we would highly recomend them

Professional efficient swift engineer
Visit for follow up snagging of new Bordeaux. Phil Green was very professional efficient and tidy. The caravan is beautiful. The quality of follow up support and professional manner of Swift engineers is hugely impressive.

The 5+ review is for the excellent service given by the service engineer who did a great job on our caravan. He was a very knowledgeable and friendly person and completed the job in a very timely manner. He also put himself out to fit in the repair the following day due to us not being able to facilitate the original booking date due to my wife suddenly taken ill. Well done Wayne your a star, Unfortunately the time taken for Swift to facilitate the repair took almost 5 1/2 months not the engineers fault I may add. All I can say on that is to get your act together Swift!
