We hired Sweetheart Nannies for our sailcloth tipi wedding in June 2026 to look after our 7 month old daughter. Our nanny was Nicola and as soon as our daughter saw her she was drawn to her. I can't put into words how incredible she was throughout the day from start to finish, I truly feel she went above and beyond for us. I was worried about my daughter before the wedding as I knew I would be busy and didn't know how I was going to meet her needs for the day but I didn't have to worry with Nicola as we discussed her likes, dislikes and her needs before the day and she would confirm things with me on the day if needed too but generally she just anticipatrd her needs throughout the day. I didn't have to worry about my daughter as everytime I looked, Nicola was either holding her or was close by when guests were playing with her. She also made sure I had something to drink and helped me with my dress as I was breastfeeding throughout the day too! My guests said at the time and continue to say to the day how lovely, friendly and amazing she was throughout the day. Thank you Nicola!! Ami was also so prompt with email responses and was very helpful when I had many questions leading up to the wedding. It was very much appreciated!

Sweetheart Nannies provided two fabulous nannies for our PyCon UK 2025 conference crèche.
From booking onwards, everything was straightforward. The crèche was set up beautifully in advance of delegates arriving. Hannasha and Iona settled all the children in, making sure to have activities to suit them and their ages. We had really positive feedback from parents and grandparents attending the conference.
I’d highly recommend Sweetheart Nannies for any event looking to provide a crèche.

Sweetheart Nannie’s provided an absolutely invaluable service for us on our wedding day! Ami and Iona were absolute superstars! From the video calls beforehand so the kids could meet them both we knew we’d made the right choice. They both arrived at our house the morning of the wedding ahead of schedule and from the moment they stepped through the door the kids all took to them! They both helped keep Jake (the 34 year old groom) calm too as they could see he was stressing about the day ahead. Jake and one of his grooms party went out for some breakfast to try help settle the nerves and when they arrived back home, three of the kids were curled up on the sofa with Ami and Iona while the two boys were quietly playing upstairs. When it came time to head over to the venue, they got the girls in the car while the boys came in with Jake and his usher who were travelling up together. When everyone arrived at the venue, Iona took the girls to the bride and her bridal party’s getting ready room while Ami came with the boys to the grooms getting ready room. Ami kept our youngest son with SEN needs calm and happy despite the huge change in routine for him and made sure he was ready in his suit for photos before the ceremony too. Once the ceremony started they both sat at the front with the children to ensure that they all fulfilled their duties perfectly and made sure that they were all in the right place at the right time for photos and helped keep them there with a seemingly endless supply of tricks and toys! When the kids photos were done with, Ami and Iona took the kids out of the way to get ice cream and chill in the designated area set aside for them and sat with them for the meals and speeches, after that they brought them home to our usual baby sitter. As we said, the service they provide is invaluable and without them, we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the day as bride and groom half as much because our roles of mum and dad would have taken over. If any child got bored or restless, started getting that bit too loud or when they started to inevitably tire, they made sure that they were occupied and taken to a calm place to ensure they could begin to relax and go again. We really can’t thank you both enough for how absolutely incredible you both were on our big day and how you did everything within your powers (which are definitely super powers) to make sure that we had the best day ever!

We booked this service on the recommendation of the venue where my Daughter got married on 31st May 2025. From the moment I contacted Ami everything went so smoothly which gave me alot of confidence. We only had 5 under 8 year old and 2 nannies were sent to care for them in the evening, the children went back to the room gradually but by 10pm the children were all sleeping and it was such a nice feeling that we did not have to worry about them. The Nannies were lovely with the children and that gave the mums the reassurance that they needed.
I would highly recommend Sweetheart Nannies.

We hired an event nanny to look after our 2 sons aged 2 and 5 for our wedding day. Our eldest son is autistic so we were a little apprehensive of how he would take to a stranger but both of our boys took to Hannasha straight away and we were shocked! She was very attentive to their needs and it felt like she had known them for years.

She was a core part of our day, ensuring our boys were well looked after and entertained all day. Nothing was too much trouble and our 2 year old who only sleeps in his cot even fell asleep on Hannasha! All our guests were commenting on how well she blended into the day and how happy the boys looked.

Having such high quality childcare on our special day meant we could fully relax and be with our guests with having to worry about the boys.

These nannies are amazing! Like Nanny McFee they arrived when I didn't know how much I needed them. And like Mary Poppins they just went away when wind was right!
I hired them for a belated wedding reception, to look after 7 great nephews & nieces all under 6. When the parents started telling me how their child was probably too shy, I began to have my doubts at my investment. But…. OMG …. The shyist & the littlest were putty in their hands, even returning willingly to their nannies after a toilet break. Their parents, and grandparents, were able to sit down & chat over a meal together for the first time in over 5 years! My brother even called me a genius! I’ll take that but it’s Amy who is - a rather magical one at that.

I am not normally one for doing reviews, however on this occasion I couldn’t not!

We used Sweetheart Nannies for our wedding day to look after our Son Alfie to ensure his safety whilst we all enjoyed our very special day without having to attend to our son all day.

From start to finish Ami was so helpful and attentive providing us with all of the information we needed in order to get a Nannie booked in, it was such a smooth process.

Where do I begin, Julie our wedding Nannie was absolutely amazing, I could not fault her at all! Julie blended into the day just like all of the other guests, she was so lovely and easy to get on with. Prior to the wedding I imagined that our son would be in minimal group photos due to him being 2.5yrs, however Julie ensured he was included in much more than I anticipated which was great! Alfie had such a lovely day as well as ourselves knowing that Alfie was in safe hands.

I would highly recommend Julie as a wedding Nannie and Sweetheart Nannie’s and cannot thank them both enough!

To sweetheart Nannie’s, on behalf of myself and my partner (Mr and Mrs Madeley) we would like to take the opportunity to thank Hannasha and her professionalism on our wedding day. She was so friendly, kind and a pleasure to be around. Not only was she taking care of our little one Bryn, she was also making sure that other kids within the proximity of Bryn was okay and not in harms way. Hannasha we feel is a huge credit towards sweetheart Nannie’s and we will definitely be recommending her towards anyone else that needs such a nice nannie. People at the wedding was also commending hannasha on her work how she shadowed Bryn but wasn’t to close and still let him able to run and have fun with the other children. Ami and her team at Sweetheart Nannies were absolutely fantastic! Communication with Ami from start to finish was brilliant! For our wedding we knew we wanted a creche as we didn't want our civil ceremony disrupted with kids crying, making noise etc, but also at the same time I didn't want to leave my guests with a dilemma of what to do with their children. Ami and her team were the perfect solution, they set up a creche in one of the rooms available at the wedding venue and operated professionally and safely with the kids. The team was flawless and all the parents said how great it was to have an on-site creche. All the parents were so happy with the service provided and I highly recommend Sweetheart Nannies if your thinking of booking them for your childcare.

Quite disappointed. My husband and I spent a lot of our wedding budget on the crèche service- they did not introduce themselves to us when they arrived, one nanny looked utterly bored whilst ‘playing’ with my bridesmaid’s son and the best man’s 1 year old daughter actually escaped from the designated crèche area. When confronted by the mother of the groom about this, one of the nannies was very blasé about the situation.
This is not what I expected based on the contract that was provided.

Fran was fantastic! She arrived early, was proactive and we don’t have enough good things to say about her! Our family and friends couldn’t believe she’d only just met our son as he was so comfortable with her and all commented how good she was with him. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the service, which was simple to use from the start. Thanks so much!

Hands down the best decision for our wedding was to get in Sweetheart Nannies. Our wedding nanny Natalie was amazing and took away so much stress from the day. We felt that she went above and beyond, Natalie came so prepared with things to do for our little ones and really was a nod away. Can’t recommend enough!

We have nothing but great things to say about our nannies, Jo and Katelyn, who came to look after a 18-month old and 10-month old for our wedding day. They were both extremely professional - arrived on time, were friendly and polite, immediately made our children feel at ease, and nothing was too much trouble. All the communication leading up to the event (from Ami in head office, to having calls with the nannies before the event) went extremely smoothly. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Fantastic service and I would highly recommend. The company was so easy to deal with. The bell tent was used as a free flow crèche and was a big hit with all the toys and activities. Having nannies present who were great with children, ensured our family had some child free time.

Brilliant with the kids, seemlessly pulled off my request for an easter egg hunt without needing any further input and all the feedback from parents present was outstanding.

Bianca from Sweetheart nannies helped to make my daughter a wedding the perfect day. She looked after my 3 month old grand daughter all day at the wedding. She anticipated all her needs and was a joy to have around - she took away any anxiety and baby was calm all day. She also has a lovely manner and sense of humour. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Honestly, the best money we spent on our wedding was for two nannies to attend and look after 5 children for the afternoon, including our 18 month old son. It allowed all the parents to relax and enjoy the day. We were worried the kids wouldn't settle, but they were having so much fun they didn't even want to join the wedding! Feeding, playing games, changing nappies, settling for naps, changing into PJs - everything was handled perfectly. Danielle was amazing! Would 100% recommend Sweetheart Nannies.

Myself and my husband were really impressed with the support we got from Chloe on our wedding weekend. She was absolutely fantastic, much better than we could have imagined. She bonded really well with our little girl and was very understanding of when to step in and help out, and even took Sophie to sit with different members of my family or friends who wanted a cuddle, when she saw they were free and myself and my husband were busy. It made our wedding weekend completely stress free and we are so grateful!

Chloe also looked after my sisters 2 year old overnight, he was much more aware and upset at being left without his parent but she had some great tricks to cheer him up and he warmed to her very quickly!
