DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY This company is a SCAM they try and sell you information on a working holiday for a £1 but then tell you after you have paid this you have actually paid a deposit for a booking to go and so a cancellation fee of £49 is required is to cover costs of this deposit then next minute you realise you have signed into a contract and if you don’t pay the further £49 to cancel you will be tied into hundreds of pounds - if it were a genuine company then the deposit would be £50 up front therefore people would be more likely to read the small print and understand what they are signing up for in the first instance so whatever bull they come out with to justify costs is rubbish if they were genuine they would make this clearer on the sign up - my daughter signed into this and we cancelled within minutes but we’re still told we had to pay as they had made a live booking which is utter rubbish there should be a minimum of a 24 hour cooling off period online this company is a complete disgrace and I am informing trading standards ANY DECENT REVIEWS ARE FAKE PLACED BY THEMSELVES!!!

Last summer I went to Magaluf with Summer Takeover, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was so well-organized. The reps were fantastic—always on hand to help with anything and super friendly. A big shoutout to Ryan in particular; he went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best time possible. He was always around with great advice on what to do, where to go, and made the whole trip even more fun with his energy and enthusiasm.

The events were incredible, from wild boat parties to lively bar crawls—every night was something new and exciting. The accommodations were clean and well-located, right near all the action, which made getting around super easy.

Can’t wait to go to Ibiza this year !

Summer Takeover made everything so easy! From sorting my accommodation to helping me find work in Magaluf, the team was there every step of the way. The nightlife was unreal, and I met so many incredible people who became like family. The support from the reps was amazing, and they really helped me settle in quickly. If you’re looking for an unforgettable summer, I can’t recommend this enough!

Booked for Zante next summer. The reps have been great, answered all of my questions and changed my payment dates with no issues.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Summer Takeover. I recently attempted to cancel my accommodation booking and was met with a rigid and unclear cancellation policy. Despite their terms and conditions mentioning a 14-day cancellation period for subscription services, this does not apply to accommodation, rendering a significant portion of my payments non-refundable.

Their customer service has been unhelpful in clarifying the situation. I requested a breakdown of my payments and an explanation of their cancellation fees, but my requests have been ignored. Instead, they simply reiterate that the payments are non-refundable and insist I cancel my booking through their dashboard.

I feel misled by their terms and conditions and deeply frustrated by their lack of transparency and poor customer service. I urge anyone considering booking with Summer Takeover to be extremely cautious and ensure they fully understand the implications of their non-refundable policy before making any payments.

Biggest scam ever do not apply. Says only 1 euro to send your application through and then you are faced with a whole payment plan. Had to pay a 49 euro (R1160) just to cancel.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

I went on and paid €1, thinking that I was just securing a spot and finding out more information (Their website explicitly says pay €1 to secure a spot), little did I know that once you pay the deposit, they set you up for a payment plan immediately. There is no way to cancel the plan without losing some sort of money either, it is a €50 cancellation fee. I went on to pay the €50 cancellation fee when I finally had the funding and could afford to pay it because I figured it was better losing €50 than anything else, before I could pay it €360 was taken out of my account and I emailed asking if I could just pay the €50 fee and be refunded the €310, but they said no and that it was non-refundable. Do not go with this company, it banks off of the nativity of young people with its hidden charges. I will now have to contact my bank and if that does not work, a solicitor for legal advice.

The best experience I’ve ever had. This was mainly down to Kelly. Everything was made easier and I am so grateful. Thank you Kel, Nathan and Mason. Summer Takeover gave me the opportunity to meet some people I won’t forget and made some great memories. Special mention to Mason in Zante who was an inspiration human being and always had a smile on his face. Was there for 25 days and would definitely recommend if you want to experience Zante with ease.

Me and my friend went to work abroad in Aiya Napa and as soon as we arrived we felt so at home due to Sam and Toni. Anything we needed at any time of the day/night they would answer the phone and help us the best they could. We couldn’t have asked for more helpful reps. The apartment was value for money as you’d expect. A brilliant experience and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

I would 100% recommend summer takeover, i haven’t even gone with them yet and they have been so so helpful with me. i wanted to change my dates from june to july, i commented on the facebook group and a admin added me straight away and messaged me with advice and was able to change it straight away. They was also great help with changing my payment plan, so it was cheaper each month and easier to pay for. They did it all under 10 minutes!! i would definitely recommend booking with this company as any worries there is always someone there to help. I can’t wait to work in ayia napa 2025 with them!! I spent 3 months in Magaluf with Summer Takeover. They helped me to get a job as an event rep where I worked 3 hours a night so all my days I had completely free. The work was fun and I earnt enough to cover my living costs and some extra. Reps are amazing and made friends for lifeeeee, will 110% be back ❤️

I've been doing Summer Takeover the last few years now and it's always been a ball. This year I did Zante with Summer Takeover and it was the best experience of my life.

I'd like to specifically mention Kelly as she was hands down the best rep I've had with Summer Takeover as she was warm and welcoming, always going out her way to ensure the guests were having a good time and was always there if there was any issues.

Booked magaluf with Summer Takeover and absolutely loved it! Booked just for may last year and ended up staying the whole season. I then came back this year for the whole season again! My Rep Olly has been amazing and really helped me out with everything i need. Definitely coming back next year!!

Scam. Full article in todays Observer titled, 'The dark side of the ‘summer of a lifetime’: young Britons exploited in jobs at Mediterranean party resorts' 18/8/24. If you're British need work visa for EU or you will be working illegally. Also no guarantee of work. Quote from article, 'Another company, Summer Takeover, has faced allegations that customers with UK passports were not able to find work, even though its website promises to provide “jobs and recruitment in your chosen resort”. It did not respond to a request for comment.'

Been here 3 years since signing up to come Magaluf for a month initially, looked after me throughout my time, will be back next year.

£1 just to apply and instantly get accepted and have to pay a further £50 to cancel

Paid the 1$ fee to go work in Mallorca in September.

Not a single person reached out to me.

They expected to get paid 700 £ on August with no guarantees - and they also charged me 50£ to get my application canceled!

Stay away from this company.

Scammers. I paid a pound thinking I was just applying for the job. Then get told I automatically got the job and they will be taking 750£ out of my account. Then tried cancelling and it cost 50£ to cancel. I’m sick to my stomach I’m so annoyed. I’m so so so so angry

Absolutely dreadful. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE THIS COMPANY!! I have just paid the £1 deposit and am terrified they will take more money out of my bank. They need to inform customers a more effective way that this will happen. If they take anymore than the £1 out of my bank I will call action fraud UK.
