Helpful staff, no hassle while thru whole experience of getting new car

Engagement with potential customers is set at the correct level, not pushy or overbearing. Straightforward conversations and no attempt to make a sale using PCP or Lease Agreement, customer left to make a decision which is accepted without pressure to change. Very minor repair to alloy wheel pointed out and corrected before handover.

It’s a family company and you feel it. No haggling they are knowledgeable friendly staff and are open and honest about what the best deal is. So long as they have the cars I like I won’t go anywhere else

Based in Dundee but saw a car on the net in Perth, John, sales guy, got it brought through for a test drive, no issues taking it, on our own, for as long as we wanted, unlike some showrooms.
Once we bought there was fantastic follow up, full service and new brake pads. And even when our trade in broke down on the way to the showroom (minters, from me) they actually came and towed me in. Top value and top service their going to be our first stop from now on.

First time purchase from Struans (Dundee). Drove from Aberdeen to view & test drive - well worth it. Kevin the salesman was a pleasure to deal with, accommodating & patient. Also thank you to the Struans delivery driver who brought the car up to Aberdeen. He did not rush the handover, and was very polite & helpful. All in all a great experience.

Went to look for a new car yesterday at Struans Dundee and what a service. As a solo female buyer I’ve had awful experiences at other garages but Kevin and the other staff, were courteous and friendly without being pushy. Kevin listened to what I wanted and could afford and I bought a lovely car . Amazing service from a great team

Bought a 2020 BMW from Calum the salesman. Car was well presented, and Calum made sure all the tasks were carried out before collection. I travelled the 90 miles to receive a better service and better price that I could have received from the Aberdeen dealers. For instance, no administration fee. 6 months tax. 1 years warranty . Worth dealing with a family run business. Well worth a visit. Thanks again Calum 👍🏻

Purchased our new Toyota Yaris GR Sport in September 2023 and I can confidently say it’s the best car we have purchased.
John Black as always provided excellent guidance on the car and we got exactly what was stated.
The car is so economical and very comfortable to drive.

I have dealt with Struans in Perth for 20 yrs. They give good old fashioned customer service, always helpful and doing what they can to make things easy, it has always been greatly appreciated. Peter Cheney in particular is one of the nicest men you could deal with, nothing is ever a trouble for him.
It is disappointing they have lost a franchise but I will certainly be sending best wishes to a well run family business for their continued success.

We had been using Struans (Dundee) for almost 20 years, but this year I totally forgot about my MoT and annual service. I phoned and spoke to Barry on the service desk, after a few minutes he said he could fit me in the next day if I could be there by 8:00 am, and then he managed to arrange a replacement car as I had a 40 mile drive. The MoT was completed and I was advised by 'phone that some repairs were required. I received another call late afternoon to tell me the car was finished and ready to be collected. I cannot express how helpful and diligent they have been this year and how much I appreciate it. Struans may have lost a franchise, but they have not lost the ability to satisfy customers. Got a valuation for vehicle on Motorway. Didn't meet reserve. Decided to sell it anyway to the closest buyer (Struans Perth). Upload all the documents. Constantly chasing Motorway to find out what's happening, just to be told 'the Struans is keen to pick up the vehicle, we are just checking documents'. Then I'm told 3 weeks later that Struans backed out due to ME taken to long with documents! What an absolute waste of time!

I don’t normally do reviews but thought it would be appropriate to do one in this instance for Struan’s Dundee (Used Cars).
We had been looking for a small car for my mother and spotted a nice i10 Hyundai online at Struan’s (via Autotrader) and spoke with their sales team, in particular Graham.
He was very helpful in providing information on the vehicle, providing extra videos and also clarifying further the history of the car.
We purchased the vehicle (as a distance sale without seeing the vehicle) and unfortunately we the car arrived we noted there was a dent in the driver door, which after careful review by a local body shop, actually demarcated quite extensive damage rather than a simple dent.
I spoke with Graham and also Scott, his manager. Both were incredibly helpful and apologetic and with no quibbles arranged for the damage to be repaired in full (costs of which were not inexpensive). This was all done very efficiently.
I therefore would strongly recommend Struan’s in regard to their after sales support; I think a reflection of a business is not how they manage when things go right but how they sort things when they go wrong.

Saw a car on line emailed to go take a look was looked after from start to finish from taking a test drive to buying the car great company to deal with John Black the salesman was brand new.
