Poor Service
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at a Mercedes dealership, and I feel compelled to share just how poor the service was.
Communication throughout the process was terrible. I was given vague answers to straightforward questions, and I often felt like I was being brushed off rather than properly assisted. On top of that, there was a lack of transparency .
What stood out most was the lack of basic customer care. For a brand that prides itself on luxury and quality, the service I received was anything but. I expected a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail, but instead I left feeling ignored and undervalued.
Also instead of concentrating on why the car has broken down all they want to do is sell you wiper blades or brakes or tyres or all 3 if they could get away with it.
Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone expecting the level of service typically associated with the brand.

Awful Service and no response to emails
UPDATES: the day after taking the car home, I noticed cosmetic damage on the charge cover flap that looked like scratches. I took it back to Mercedes who advised it was tape residue. Nobody was able to remove it and I was forced into another visit to get it sorted. I emailed a complaint about very poor service to Stratstone and also direct to the dealership but after 4 days no I have not even had an acknowledgement..fair to say I will never use this garage again.
There were some communication issues between Mercedes Recovery and this dealership that got sorted in the end. I had to chase for updates on my car as I wasn't kept updated initially but this did improve. I was told the car would be washed and vacuumed prior to returning it to me but it was not (I didn't ask for it, but once it was offered I would have expected them to follow through)

Useless warranty
The car was excellent, the sales person was excellent and advised me of the 3 month warranty. Some issues were raised the next day.
Fast forward a month or two, sales person has left and I'm now being told that the fault isn't covered under warranty?
It seems I've paid over the odds for a car that isn't quite as it should be. Having to constantly chase the dealer for updates.
God help you if you need support after buying your car. They don't seem to care once you leave.

Kieran was great however …
Kieran was great however general service was not good. Picked up a GLE hybrid that did not have a charged battery, handover was outside in cold freezing rain so difficult to properly inspect the car. As soon as I went to fuel the vehicle I noticed the fuel cap was bent/unaligned so messaged the garage within a few hours of collecting the car. Initial response was fine "bring the car in and we'll look at it". However when I took the car in it was a different sales person (David I think) who took one look at it and said he wasn't even going to try and sort it as in his opinion there was no point trying, and anyway it closed so what's the problem if it's sticking out a bit. Essentially I was completely dismissed and not offered any resolution. This was in addition to some other issues with the tech features where I was booked in for the service team to look at the car and when I turned up they looked at me like "what do you expect us to do". Finally I should say that when you have customers in the showroom staff should probably refrain from sweary banter in the background.
