Our experience as buyers with Stow Brothers was poor. From the point of making an offer - going straight to best and final rather than having a first offer, and then finding out very short notice that we needed to provide substantial financial information and evidence that same day (the Monday after the viewing) rather than having been told this when we asked at the viewing about what we needed to make an offer, resulted in us both having to take half day off work to pull information together which could easily have been prepared in advance if we'd been told that would be required at that stage. Then, getting a call from the branch manager asking us to increase our offer and telling us exactly what the higher offer was - which is poor practice in the sector, as offers are usually not shared with other buyers. And then finding out that our offer was accepted after all - at a point when we had assumed it had already been rejected and so had accepted that we weren't getting the house. And then once we were passed on to the running sales team, having almost no contact with Stow Brothers for the rest of the purchase process. The Running Sales team were completely hands off, not once calling to check how the process was going, and when we very nearly pulled out they had absolutely no idea how serious our doubts were. Likewise, when we suddenly found out that the sellers had a deadline for completion, it seemed that Stow Brothers had either not known this or had not passed this information on. And then finally, on the day of completion, Stow Brothers repeatedly on the phone and in person denied that we had completed and denied that they had heard anything from the lawyers, despite the lawyers confirming that they had emailed Stow Brothers, called them and copied them into the confirmation of completion. This led to delays right up to the last minute and caused us additional key wait time costs with our movers, that were fully caused by Stow Brothers incompetence. In contrast, the agency we sold through - Felicity J Lord - were in regular contact with both us as sellers and with our buyer, and were super helpful in moving the sale along. Absolutely would not recommend and will not use Stow Brothers by choice.

Ashleigh Marques was a great property manager. Always very professional and sorted any issues we had immediately and thoroughly with no stress. Renting can be a nightmare so it’s good to have someone reasonable and smart in your corner.

Ellie at Stowe Brothers was thoughtful and proactive, and she always advocated for me, especially when my landlord decided to sell the flat. She communicated quickly, was honest and straightforward about repairs and any issues with the property, and consistently met me with professionalism and kindness.

I'd also recommend their sales team. Speaking as a renter rather than the owner, I was impressed by their professionalism across several viewings. They respected my time, privacy and space, were flexible about how I was contacted, negotiated viewing times with me, answered questions promptly, and clearly knew the flat well, having done their research beforehand.

Stow Brothers Walthamstow managed our recent sale and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Throughout the valuation stage, viewings and the conveyancing process, especially as it involved a few challenges with breaks and drop outs in the chain, the team were always available and happy to help.

I have used Stow Brothers for a sale and purchase 2 years apart now and both times they have been incredible. I had the wonderful Andrew Le Surf when we purchased the house and I have to say I was a little nervous to have another agent this time around - we were paired with Anita and thankfully she was also excellent - efficient, pleasant to deal with and very responsive. Mega fan of Stow Brothers and would always choose them again in the future. Their charge is marginally more expensive than central who we sold with last time and worlds apart with the experience so if you are on the fence - choose stow.

I have dealt with the Walthamstow agency of Stow Brothers for seven years now - as a landlord they have obtained tenants for me. I have always found them thoroughly professional and efficient with friendly staff willing to go the extra mile to help. Yesterday my flat had a roof leak and their roofer attended and fixed the problem the same afternoon. I would strongly recommend them as the best estate agent in E17. Paul

This is the third time I have used Stow Brothers, first they let and managed my flat for just over a year, then I sold my flat through this company, and now my daughters bought a house from Highams Park branch of Stow Brothers.
When buying and selling, i dealt with Mia Francis (Sales progressor), Mia is a real professional, she kept me and my daughters informed during the whole process, and provided excellent customer care, and is an asset to Stow Brothers.
I am extremely happy with Stow Brothers, they are the best if you are looking to rent, buy or sell.
I already have and will always recommend Stow Brothers to friends and family.

The experience with Stow Brothers and namely Ryan and Tanika has been great. They were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
