UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE.
Ordered Nov23 and now it is Apr24! Original installation was 6 weeks ago BUT one of the curtains has a visible hole and tracks supplied was not for SLINE curtains, therefore it looks ugly!
Today was supposed to be the re-installation to fix but I just got a phone call to say that they don't have everything they need to fix! I took a day off for this!
Get your act together and have my curtains fixed, just like how quickly I paid you.

Beware if buying online
Be careful not to make online orders with them bc they will dump your stuff on the street like cheap garbage and not refund you. Spotlight doesn't give you the option of Sign on Delivery or sending your order to the LPO. If you order anything expensive, make sure it's not via online delivery, otherwise goodluck to you. Your money will be gone
Outstanding Customer Service
I would like to praise Lisa at Spotlight Morayfield QLD store, Lisa was working at the furnishing / fabric counter. I was there this afternoon. I had a vision of how to refresh & re-cover my blanket box, but very little knowledge apart from what I watched on Utube. Lisa was not only super helpful and patient with my many questions, she was also a fabulous wealth of knowledge with great helpful ideas.

I ordered sheets online from Spotlight on 7/3/2024 and as of 30/3/24 I have not received them. they had to come from Mt Druitt to Campbelltown, both suburbs of western Sydney. The response of Spotlight to fixing this problem has been appalling. I have shopped with Spotlight for many years and never experienced this level of poor service. If they want people to buy online, they need to lift their game considerably.
Bad Customer Services
I went to the Manukau Branch to buy sheer curtain. I went with my family to the counter waiting to be served! There were two staffs serving customers before me so I waited for my turn. Both staff saw me standing at the counter but none acknowledged or said anything so I waited. I went up to the staff and asked her I need some assistance in selecting the curtains please. The staff was so rude and the way she spoke to me like what you want and then she took me where the curtains were displayed so I pointed her that I need this one I told her the measurements I am after so She picked up the ready made one and sold me two packets where as I needed only one packet. I even told her I want 2 meter by 2 meter not 2 x 2 meter. I am very disappointed as I have to go back to the store and return the 1. Please send your rude staff back to training for customer service as I work for Customer service too and I know how important our Customers are!! The staff description is short Maori lady I felt like she was racist as I was wearing hijab that time.

Spotlight Review
Review of Spotlight made-to-measure roller blinds.
Early May 2023:
• Ordered 4 double blinds and 1 split blind for sliding door and panel
Late May 2023
• Person came to do initial measure and quote
o 50% deposit provided
o Advised that the measurements would be checked by the installer
Late June 2023
• Installer came and re-checked measurements
• Order confirmed by Spotlight and advised no delays were expected
Mid-August 2023
• Advised by text that blinds were ready to be installed
Mid-September 2023
• Blinds installed with following issues
o One set of blinds had been measured incorrectly both by the person doing the quote and the installer
o This set of blinds had to be sent back to the manufacturer to be re-cut
o Found out later both the quoter and installer are no longer working for Spotlight
o Wrong fittings were sent and had to be re-ordered
Late October 2023
• Advised by text that blinds and fittings had been re-ordered
• Would take up to 3 weeks to arrive and be installed
Late November 2023
• Advised that order had been closed as complete
• Jamie from Spotlight Gungahlin reopened order
o Advised that installation should be by 8th December
Late December 2023
• Advised that new blinds and fittings could be installed by 22 January 2024
• Recut blinds installed
o Wrong fittings supplied with new blinds
o Person who had installed correct fittings had left 2 spare correct fittings as he thought this might happen
So a process that should have taken 6 to 8 weeks took over 8 months.
Promised compensation but never happened
Only saving grace was Jamie from Spotlight Gungahlin who tried to help as much as possible.
Chances of going through Spotlight again for anything? Zero.
Products were good for it's price
Products were good in there for the price. Customer service decent enough.
Offered a voucher and never sent it!
They keep sending offers via email. One of them was specifically for me because I had been shopping a lot since December. The offer was spend more than 75$ in store or online and receive 25$ voucher.
So I ordered 75$ worth of stuff online with click and collect only to get a partial refund on them because surprise surprise they didn't have one of the items in stock. So I email them asking if they can add something else instead as I needed the 75$ minimum which they denied.
So I went into the store and bought 112$ worth of stuff and guess what? No sign of any voucher in my emails. I definitely got the membership scanned it was on the receipt.
So I email them again asking to give me the voucher. They mucked me around asking for information they already have on my account and eventually said they have escalated the case. It has been more than a month and still no voucher or communication.
Their offers are lies! I spend thousands in their shop and they couldn't even fix their issue when approached. They have 0 care for their customers as their reviews show online and they get away with it because they have little to no competition in Australia. Suckers!
Next time I'll be shopping online from other suppliers.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I ordered twice via online store and paid delivery charges, but each time after the payment is made, I will receive an email for apology and refund of part order. Now what happens to my delivery charges. If you don't have product why do you keep advertising on website.

VERY Misleading advertising …
Large sign In Queanbeyan Spotlight saying 4 patterns for $20. I spent considerable time choosing and finding the patterns in the big steel drawers. At the counter I was told the offer didn’t include Vogue patterns. The sign was brought back to me and at the very bottom in less than 1mm type “Vogue patterns not included”. I left the store which is a long way from my home. I was told Vogue patterns would be 2 for $10 tomorrow but I couldn’t purchase them now! Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE or any understanding at all.
I buy patterns regularly but will never go back to this Spotlight store.
Wonderful, friendly service
I would like to compliment Jo, working at Spotlight Bennett's Green. He was so obliging and helpful when I returned blinds which did not suit. He carried blinds from my car, refunded me and found a replacement blind, which he then carried to my car. A wonderful, polite young man. Thank you. Diane.
Thieves
On the rare occasion that my mail from Spotlight arrives, there have been problems.
If I order six balls of yarn they only send me four, though my receipt states six.
They have not refunded me due to this.
A few weeks ago I ordered a packet of 25 safety stitch markers, which arrived late, and there were only 13 in the packet the first time I opened it.
This is a flipping daylight robbery.
I hope my review is enough to help others know that it's not a good store to spend money on.
Save your cash for somewhere that cares about you.
Made to measure venetian blinds did not…
Made to measure venetian blinds did not turn up after 3 weeks. Asked Spotlight to investigate and all I got back was that the matter had been escalated. I was then asked to provide a review of my service from Spotlight and provided an honest response outlining the issues - and gave a 1 star review. Unsurprisingly they have now come back and said my review did not meet guidelines so would not be published - but nothing to help with either getting my venetian blinds or a refund

Aramex are useless!
The shop and product, a clothes airer, was fine.
Aramex is the delivery company and they are absolutely useless, I emailed spotlight and Aramex, within 20 minutes, on a Sunday, I get an update that it was being delivered that day, there were no updates at all prior to this, seems they hang onto parcels at Wollongong and just let them sit there.
I will never buy anything from any company who uses Aramex, so many people on our local FB group are complaining they haven't recieved their parcels from this mob.
Change your delivery company, or you will lose sales.

Having a vip membership I thought it would be easy. Not at all.
Proceeding to check out you cant put in your membership number to apply the discount available.
Rang customer support and told you need to get a new vip membership to order online.
Still didnt work.
Absolutely frustrating and not ideal when you live over 400 km away.
