From the start when speaking with Stuart, the owner of Smart Shield UK, I made it clear that I'm a demanding customer and have high expectations. Stuart wasn't fazed, and took the time to carefully explain every detail of how they work, what their quality philosophy and customer service relations are like. Based on this and not least a very competitive price, I engaged Smart Shield UK to thoroughly clean and seal a mix of older and newer roof surfaces in excess of 500 square metres.

Stuart came on site himself for the day with four of his guys, and I can't praise them enough for their friendly and relaxed approach, but at the same time their reassurances of the quality they'd aim to achieve. The entire experience from start to finish was outstanding, and the result exceeded my expectations.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Stuart and his team to anyone needing affordable, quality roof cleaning.

Company owner, Stuart, was very knowledgeable during the sales call, not at all pushy, explained clearly what would be done. The guys who did the work were professional, polite and friendly, despite having to clean a large roof in 32 degree heat. They re-pointed the valleys, replaced broken tiles and re-sealed guttering at no extra cost. Left a fantastic looking roof. Very pleased with the result and would use them again. They have also done several other roofs in our road and I have heard nothing but good feedback from neighbours.

An outstanding job from start to finish. Initial contact with Stuart was very easy and friendly and the guys who came to do the roof, Nick and Mike, could not have done a better job or worked any harder. They arrived at 8.00, left at 7.30 with a fantastic looking roof the only way you would have known they had been here. They left the place looking immaculate. I couldn't be more pleased and can't thank or praise them enough. If you want your roof cleaning, use these guys !!

From the first contact with Stuart to the completion of the work this has been a very good experience. The team of Nick and Mike arrived on time and worked hard all day to get the work done on time. They were courteous,explaining each aspect of the work and took time to protect our property.
At the end of the day we were amazed at the outcome,it exceeded our expectations and looks like a brand new roof.
At the end of the day Nick and Mike went out of their way to make sure they left our property and that of our neighbour in a very clean state.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who want a professional experience.

Smartshield have provided excellent service throughout getting our roof cleaned and painted. Stuart has been great with communication and coordinating his team. Nick and Mike were great when washing down the roof and it amazed us how clean and clear our roof could be. They were friendly, polite and courteous and did a great job of clearing away all of the moss afterwards. Danny and his other crew member did a great job of painting and treating The roof on the second day and did an excellent job of explaining the process and wizzed through the job to an excellent standard. They were great at cleaning down also and even left us spare treatment should we need it in the future which is really helpful. The whole team did a fantastic job, so much so we’ve taken the time to write a review (not something I’d usually make time for) and would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thanks guys.

Smart shield managed to deliver my painting renovation on time and on budget despite all the challenges of Covid. His team are professional, courteous, punctual and always have a can-do attitude. He only uses the very best highly-skilled tradesmen. I am thrilled with the end result.

Couple turned up today (didn't get names) to clean roof. They covered and protected everything and did an amazing job on an early 70's built house. Very courteous and they cleaned and tidy everything up when finished. Really pleased with work. Thank you

Very impressed with this company right from the first point of contact to the 4 guys that did the work who were very professional and polite. I couldn't believe the amount of moss they got off our roof which they cleaned up leaving our property clean and tidy with a roof that looks like new.

Very satisfied with the quality of work and the efficiency. I live in a semi and my neighbour too got the roof cleaning done at the same time. Work was completed under 6 hours for both houses. Moss was cleared for both houses and sealant was applied. And the roof looks smashing now.

Overall a very good service for the price. Friendly staff who came on time cleaned the roof, treated it, repaired the broken tiles and cleared the gutters. You can tell the difference from our roof and the neighbors now.

Could not fault the service supplied. The team came on two separate days one to clean the roof and one other day to apply coating.
As the House is quite large they spent the whole day cleaning off the moss and applying moss retardant wash. They worked hard from the time they arrived until they left. The whole area was cleaned up extremely well after roof cleaning and believe me there was a lot to clean up as the roof was very badly affected by moss. The coating was applied a few weeks later when weather improved. Again an excellent job and roof looks like new.
The team was very polite and conscientious I would recommend.
