I recently completed the three-day First Aid at Work training course with St John Ambulance, and it was an excellent experience. The course was both informative and engaging, with a great balance of theory and practical learning. The trainer (Lorraine) made the sessions particularly interesting by incorporating realistic scenarios and sharing valuable experiences from their professional role, which helped us better understand how to respond confidently in real-life emergencies.

The hands-on activities were especially useful in reinforcing the skills and knowledge we gained throughout the course. Overall, I would highly recommend this training to anyone looking to develop their first aid skills and feel more confident in handling emergency situations.

I need a first-aid certificate for work, it is mandatory. So this was a purchase of necessity.

This is the second time I chose to a St John's one-day course. The last one, three years ago, was excellent and so was this.

The Trainer was very knowledgeable and she was engaging us a lot. I have found out several facts, information I did not know before.

Fantastic teaching team really enjoyed my 3 days made us feel relaxed and learnt loads. Would highly recommend the first aid course the knowledge the team have is unbelievable. Keep up the great work!!!

The reason I have given this review 5* is due to the lady completing the training, Elka! Elka was amazing, very helpful, knowledgeable and loved the work she does. However, the centre it's self and St Johns ambulance as a whole I would give less star. The facilities we're awful, to which Elka has to sort out a leak in the kitchen, no water being able to be used, she had to go and purchase kettles for us to use, Elka couldn't do enough for her class and she was a great trainer.

I've been on about 4 or 5 first aid courses now, this was a one day intense course, and very enjoyeble, the instructed being very knowledgable, easy going and friendly

Made it fun but very informative

Did my Refresher at the London Bridge venue. The instructor Zahara was absolutely brilliant. Lovely person and very knowledgeable. I've done a few refreshers with St John Ambulance over the years. I would highly recommend them.

I had a great experience doing my first aid course. The tutor Val Seedy was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly and making the course easy to understand. They made everyone feel comfortable, encouraged us to ask questions, and made the learning enjoyable and engaging. I feel much more confident in my ability to provide first aid thanks to their teaching. I would highly recommend this tutor to anyone looking to do a first aid course. Thank you for a great experience!

Interactive course with fellow attendees & instructors enabling engaging interaction with the emergency first aid topics to complete the course

I attended a first aid course in Preston with Ross and Nigel as our trainers. Both were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, using humour to put everybody’s minds at ease. They checked on us repeatedly throughout the day, and were very thorough in making sure we knew exactly what we were doing. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

It was an amazing experience, tge tutor Mike h was fantastic ,he made me feel relaxed and not stressed at all ,gave us constructive feedback and help when we needed it.i have been on first aid courses before and I must say this was the best

The training was fantastic. The trainer genuinely cared that we all had the skills to deal with a number of situations, effectively, that we could save life’s in an emergency. This was anything but the usual lip service/tick box class. He used a variety of techniques to give us real examples. I completed my training in Rotherham, Bradmarsh Target Housing in September

I completed my recertification today with Kurtis in Dartford. He was inclusive, enthusiastic and very engaging. I found the course thoroughly enjoyable and really feel I benefitted from the different learning styles we used. Thanks Kurtis for your hard work.

Great course, great lecturer and ideal location
would recommend taking this course

Good trainer, delivered with humour which i think helped take the information in.
Good mix of theory and tasks too.

Great teacher, always answering questions that you may have. Always explains everything.
