We hadn't booked, got a table, ordered and paid at the table. Service was quick and accurate and the food was faultless, absolutely lovely meal.
This was in York, Hull Road

I went for a meal with my husband and son this evening at The Highfield in Blackpool. All of our meals were fantastic, the service from ordering to having it served by the lovely Kim was second to none. Would highly recommend to everyone.

A Shambolic Experience at The Wheatsheaf, Upton
Shocking is the only word to describe our recent visit to The Wheatsheaf in Upton this past Sunday. The disaster began immediately when we were informed they had no Sunday Dinners available, a fundamental organisational failure for a pub operating on a weekend. Forced to order from the main menu, the experience quickly devolved: our meals were delivered incorrectly, and those that did arrive were only lukewarm, failing to meet basic serving standards. The culinary low point was the dessert, as the sundaes arrived at the table completely melted, reducing them to inedible liquid. To cap off this catalogue of failures, when we requested tea or coffee after the meal, we were informed the establishment actually had no milk. It was an utterly shambolic experience from start to finish.

Used the wheatsheaf in upton chester for many years usualy very good.
Tonight appauling lied to about food wait time. Food arived after 50 minutes once chased.
Luke warm and no servervcame near us to see how things were too busy Hudled round bar gabbing.
When complained condisendingly offered a free drink.
The best bit was on my wsy from loo a chap let me passed. I thanked him he said no worries the more time I spend out the kitchrn the bettet nough said.
Bad food bad attitude bad place.

Turmut-Hoer Gloucester fab food, tandoori chicken delicious. Great service especially from Carlos. Definitely recommend.

Went to linwood restaurant. Staff were not welcoming. Recieved incorrect drinks and the food was disgusting. 2 steaks 1 rare and 1 medium both came out well done. Our server did not speak to us al all. The apple pie was extremely sour. Would not recommend going there

Went to hollymere haven't been since it was refurbished always get a sizzler and enjoy it seems to have gone down hill don't normally get a starter but saw they had pea bites with dip what a load of rubbish tiny cold in middle then my salmon sizzler came after long wait wasn't sizzling hardly any veg salmon cold and rock hard rice dri as sticks worst meal out iv had in long time even coffee was like dish water

Lovely friendly staff, the pub in itself was very clean and tidy and the food was lovely - i havent been here for a long time as it went through a bad period - wow what a change - well done staff.

The staff here are amazing … legit normal people doing a job where they meet all walks of life no judgement to who ever u are!
The food is 5* quality for the price.

Landlord done amazing job on picking staff that can connect.
To the landlord hit the pub with a band once a month ……. been there when u had one on amazing evening and advertise it more ….. ur pull the people in, cause ur legit a nice pub ….but well done u got it pretty much bang on, nice atmosphere…,,,safe and friendly. I just love a band 😁

I’m really confused with the app. I’ve been trying for the last 10 minutes to find out what the menu is at the venue. I’ve booked a table with for tomorrow now I can’t get the menu up at all. It just tells me I can book a table, which I’ve already done. Also I have ordered four or five separate meals from this company and I’ve noticed I’ve not even got one stamp, even though in my order account and orders it shows five different orders so why should I have not received five stamps as you’ve got to order from the table? They know it’s you? I just think it’s a complicated system.

Swan Newbury .. complained that an Ordered meal came out wrong .. made to feel it was my fault by the assistant manager (Ethan) then told the upgrade I had ordered ( seasoned chips was a typo error) and don’t exist on there menu .. made to feel like an idiot sent back for a refund . The other 2 meals we ordered were either overcooked or cold . Shocking service by the person that told us they were the assistant manager

I suggest some customer service training for this particular member of staff .

Went to local Sizzling pub with friends and ordered a mixed grill and paid for an upgrade on the rump steak to 8oz.
When my meal came to the table it was obvious that no upgrade had been given and most of the meat on the plate was dried out and not very enjoyable.
The waitress had a don't care attitude and said nothing I can do I will speak to my manager, I do not believe she did because it was only after approaching a member of bar staff that the managers came to our table and stated that steaks shrink when cooked, however after discussion did remove the upgrade cost.
When the steak was weighed later it was 3.09 ounces meaning that their so called 8oz steak lost over 50% of it's weight through cooking.

I went for a meal with my friend and we both had steak meals, I wanted mine medium and he wanted welldone, when the food came out mine was ok but his was still bleeding it was more bloody than mine, I asked them to take it back and cook it abit more, after 5 minutes it came back, still lots of blood coming out, he couldn't eat it like that. I wanted to complain but he didn't so we ate the bits we could and left, so disappointed.

Carvery,unchewable fatty beef,cold turkey,undercooked veg & roast potatoes were white. £49 what a waste of our money !

Excellent food and service

my self and my wife had a meal at the pottery pontypridd wales and the food was great and the staff were so polite it was are first time there today but we will definitely coming back has it is a dog friendly place

The staff went the extra mile to seat us and our dogs at a suitable table. Good atmosphere in a friendly local pub. The food was good, though you shouldn't expect top cuisine at these low prices!
Quiz night was good fun also, I just wish it could start a little later than 7pm.

We’ve just had dinner in the Blossoms pub in Ansdell. The Sweet Chilli chicken served on a bed of roasted vegetables and Basmati rice was delicious. The staff although very busy are always friendly and helpful and we have a soft spot for Sophie who always greets us with a lovely smile and kind words.

I recently visited The Blossoms pub in Ansdell with friends for breakfast. The Big Breakfast was excellent and great value for money. A member of the staff, Sophie, was very friendly and looked after us during our visit. The Blossoms is very clean we had great seats to watch the Australia v Lions rugby match.
