Don't buy...

I've had to go through dispute resolution centre to get my money back. Why go through all that pain and suffering just because I bought something from them. Very poor customer service. Don't buy from this very unprofessional people.

Dear Mr Corrales

You ordered a product which needed to be modified to your requirements (a hole was drilled out of the standard sink). We then arranged for the product to be shipped from York to Devon using a very expensive pallet delivery service. On Friday you received a phone call from the pallet company saying they would deliver on the Monday - you confirmed with them that this was acceptable. On Monday you turned the driver away, saying you have sorted out an alternative sink! We simply asked you to cover a small part of the delivery and return costs. You refused to accept any responsibility. Paypal simply decided in your favour as a customer and returned every single penny of your money even though, through no fault of our own, we have now lost over £100 in wasted shipping fees on a product that should not have been able to be returned. To make it even worse you have now written a negative review giving only a limited version of events.

As a small business we don't always get everything right. However, we always try to be fair and reasonable, even if its at our expense. I really don't think in these circumstances we warranted such a harsh review and I don't think we were being at all unreasonable by asking for just a contribution towards the shipping/return costs.

A great service

We are really pleased with the sink and tap we purchased. They look good and function well. The staff at sinks-taps could not have been more helpful, they responded promptly to questions and concerns that I had about my order and dealt with everything courteously and helpfully. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again in future.

Appalling customer service and poor quality control

This company ask for feedback and then delete negative reviews.

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mother, who had to return a tap she ordered due to it being damaged upon arrival. In the two exchanges that followed she was subjected to what can only be described as verbal abuse by their senior customer services representative at sinks-taps on both occasions. This left my mother extremely shaken and upset. She received a replacement tap which still has an issue, however she chose not to report this as did not want a repeat of this upsetting experience. Poor quality control, appalling customer service and we will never use or recommend sinks-taps again.

A Good Listening Company

On the whole the service I received was very prompt and good. The customer service personnel I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful - even when I wanted to return part of the order because it wasn’t what I had expected.
Will be happy to use the company again.

Excellent company, excellent service and excellent customer service after buying the products

I search everywhere for 3 years to find 3 discontinued sinks as I needed the same size, I had given up and just happened to find this company. Richard within minutes had not only found the same sink under a different name, but given me 2 options. I am very grateful, the sinks have been fitted and look fantastic. Thank you. And your customer service is second to none.highly recommend.

Kitchen mixer tap purchase.

Purchased a replacement kitchen mixer tap this morning. Richard, in customer support, was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my queries, directed me to the appropriate pages on their website so that I was in a position to make an informed decision. Sink!

Item returned as it was the wrong size. It was damaged by the carrier on return with insufficient packing stated as the reason. But we received it in that packaging!
Have spoken to supplier and the carrier but unable to resolve.
Caught between the two.

Hi Elaine. Its incredibly unfair that you have given us a negative review. You sent a product back to us that arrived damage. The courier that you used have refused to let you claim due to their own small print. Although incredibly disappointing, we do not see how this is our responsibility and how we deserve to receive a negative review based on someone else's service!

I will only use sinks&taps for me and my clients

I’m a plumber and I will forever and only use sinks&taps from now on. There was an issue with a handspray and Richard was very helpful and went the extra mile you can tell your dealing with a good business. They sent me out a free handspray tap when it was my error and I’m actually very grateful that I had chose this company I believe had it been anyone else I would be in a bad position now. So again thank you sinks&taps and I look forward to a lifelong custom with you guys. I know as a plumber these people will help me out rather than the alternative so again thank you sinks&taps and thank you Richard!

Outstanding customer service from this…

Outstanding customer service from this company.
From first making enquiries by phone and email to receiving the products the company have been brilliant. I received communication immediately after sales, delivery was fast and also well communicated and I also received an email to check everything was ok and I was happy with the service/product.
Richard was extremely polite and helpful, taking the time to listen and offer great advice. His extensive knowledge of a wide range of products was incredible.
He provided answers to all of my questions and assured me that if I had any problem at all it would be resolved quickly. This gave me reassurance in the company, something very important when buying from the internet.
When I received an item and found a fault Richard at sinks-taps.com resolved it immediately and a new part was sent out directly from the manufacturer within a couple of days. No question, no stress!

Fast delivery

While every other company involved in our kitchen renovation has been affected by Covid and Brexit, this one managed to deliver our Bluci sink early. Straightforward to deal with and a good quality item for the price.

Really pleased with the ease of online ordering, the quick delivery and the perfect functioning of our kitchen tap. It came delivered with all the components laid out so neatly and clearly in a padded box, so not to damage anything, which we were impressed with. Our plumber said that the tap was easy to fit and didn’t need any extra parts like some taps do. There were comprehensive instructions, which he didn’t need. I’d highly recommend this tap and the company. The tap looks great, the height makes it easy to fill a kettle, the levers are easy to operate - especially if your hands are wet or dirty - and the water flow is perfect! Great to enjoy a fully-functioning tap again, and it looks brilliant in white and brushed steel too!

Going the extra mile

Sinks-taps went the extra mile to make sure that the taps we ordered arrived in time for our planned kitchen alterations. Brexit and Covid were conspiring to delay our delivery but with the help of Richard our taps have arrived in time.

Faulty products

I recently bought a sink with half sink, tap and waste system from this company. When my plumber went to fit all the waste pipework it wasn't long enough to connect one plug-hole to the other. I had to go to the nearest plumber's merchant to buy a waste kit.
The tap nozzle was also quite loose and didn't stay where you wanted it to be. It drifted a little.
When I contacted Sinks-taps about the issue their response was that they've never had a problem before! They asked me to supply some photos which I did just before Christmas but I haven't heard from them since.

Delayed order

Ordered taps on 13th October and didn’t receive until 27th January. It says delivery in 4-6+Weeks on website.

Dear Michael. The Handmade, Special order Perrin and Rowe tap was showing online as approx 12 weeks for delivery. The product page shows a large red banner clearly showing this information. With the two week Christmas shutdown the tap arrived with you in Ireland exactly on time. We also managed to work through the additional difficulty with Brexit and the parcel system, to still get your tap delivered on time. We would appreciate it if you would be kind enough to revise your review score to reflect the above. Kind Regards, Paul.

(second) UPDATED REVIEW

Thank you for the response, Richard, I have sent you a separate email and update the review from 2 to 3 stars as I have now received notification of a part delivery tomorrow. Mistakes do happen, especially in these troubled times, and at least you are doing something about it.

For others that may be facing problems The company does exist and they are now processing my order.

In response to your response (sinks-taps) I can assure you that as per my original review (a) your answerphone hung up and did not give the option to leave any message (I called more than once); (b) your customer service email address bounced back an email I sent as undeliverable; and (c) the "paid extra for" delivery date came and went without any communication from your company. At the time of my first review I genuinely felt scammed and ended up wasting time researching if your company was having financial troubles / had gone bust.

My original "1 star, avoid like the plague" review is now updated following receipt of an email from Richard. the company is clearly, like many, having staffing issues and my fingers are crossed for a resolution and delivery of goods ordered...

-------- Sink, Tap, and fitting order 5-Jan-21 and I paid extra for 11-Jan-21 delivery. Order still shows as "pending". Their live Chat says it is not manned. Phones hang up as soon as you chose an option. Their customer services email address bounces with "undeliverable" message.
Come on sinks-taps.com - If you don't communicate with your customers (a simple message on your web site, an auto-return on email, a message on your answering machine) then you do not deserve to remain in business.

We have live chat available but due to staff shortages this is not available 24/7 and we have had short periods during the day when live chat isn't available, while we wait for a new member of staff to take over. Again, the phone lines are extremely busy but are manned and any unanswered calls go automatically to voicemail for you to leave a message. The email you sent chasing an update on your order was replied to within 24hrs. I'm really sorry that our normal service levels are not being delivered at the moment. A substantial increase in customer enquiries, supplier delays and reduced staff levels have resulted in a very difficult situation. As a small team it is incredibly frustrating to let a customer down and if we have not provided the level of service you expect, please accept our apologies. Hopefully the situation will improve and we can soon get back to consistently delivering our normal levels of service.
