For the past 7 years I have been a Sinclair JLR customer, and I have never been let down. My most recent experience, which was over the past 10 days, during the purchase of my new car was absolutely no different, and the customer care has never failed me. Dan, was my sales representative, and from start to finish he was excellent. He demonstrated excellent customer care, from enquiry through to car collection, he was patient, responsive, knowledgable, and charismatic. He was able to deal with my 100 miles an hour pace of chat, and made me feel at ease. When test driving the car, I brought along my husband and newborn baby, and both Dan alongside several other members of staff (a lady who I didn't catch the name of) were super attentive and did not make us feel like we were a burden. Always checking in and offering us beverages during our stay. On collection, I was really taken care of once again, and was collected from the train station, and Dan was able to address all of my queries, show me around the car, and complete the relevant paperwork. From our first enquiry to our successful completion of the purchase Joel Stone could not have been more helpful guiding us effortlessly though the process. Our initial enquiry was for a different vehicle and Joel suggested another one that would possibly suit us and we decided to take the opportunity of securing a fantastic vehicle that suits our needs. * 6 months from order to delivery of my new LR Defender 110 - (06 March - 10 September 2026).
* Sidesteps additionally ordered on 13 March 2026 not fitted. 5 further days delay before collection.
* Problems encountered with setting up LR account activation. Still not set up.
* Have not felt confident enough to drive my new Defender 110 without onboard operating system instructions being made functional.
* printed copy Owners Handbook ordered on-line on 14 September and still awaited 13 days after payment.
* queries raised on 16 & 17 September concerning GAP insurance policy still unanswered. Policies sold on 10 September but policy documents not supplied until 16 September after chasing up by me.

I saw a car that I wanted to buy in the Newport branch, I asked the Cardiff branch for advice. I had taken out an extended warranty on mine which had 10 months left to run, they had also given me a valuation 1 month previously. When I asked if they could help with the warranty they could not and also dropped the valuation by £350.
I called the Newport branch and dealt with Kyle who went above and beyond, not only did he and his manager Ash sort the warranty issue, they honoured the initial valuation.
I saw the car on the Tuesday, took it for a really good test drive, I collected it on the Friday. Kyle did a brilliant, thorough handover.

Dealership and salesman went above and beyond to secure a sale. They took care of my journey from Aberdeen to the Newport dealership with pickup from airport and to the dealership in the morning. An excellent overnight stay in Newport before picking up my new car the next morning. Salesman Kyle was very friendly and easy to deal with and did all that was requested quickly and efficiently and then some. Service was faultless and handover of vehicle seemless. All paperwork was ready everything required or usefull was already printed out for use or reference. Vehicle was well presented and handover with familiarsation was comprehensive and very informative.
As what I wanted was not available in Scotland I traveled to South Wales for this vehicle. The salesman and dealership made this a very pleasant and stress free experience and I would do this again without hesitation.

As has always been my experience with your dealership, the service was outstanding from start to finish. From booking the vehicle in, through to speaking with the technician who carried out the work, the entire process was professional, efficient, and customer-focused.

In particular, I would like to commend Aaron, one of your lead technicians. I am planning an extensive road trip across Europe, where I will encounter much colder weather conditions than we experience here. Aaron took the time to provide me with a wealth of valuable advice regarding the trip, covering everything from tyres and suspension to the appropriate fluids for colder climates. His knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. He also recommended that I book the vehicle back in for a comprehensive inspection before I travel, which I intend to do.

I would also like to recognise the young lady on the front desk who assisted me. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was extremely helpful and arranged for defective parts to be replaced under warranty without any fuss. Her customer service was excellent and contributed greatly to the positive experience.

Overall, it was a pleasure dealing with your team, and the experience was first-class throughout.

I found the salesman and salesmanager good but we had to ask about payment options, information was not forthcoming. The salesman did take into consideration our requests and act on them, the staff were very welcoming and courteous.
The car was in excellent condition when we picked it up, it had been valeted to a very high degree and a large scratch had been removed as promised. I did not give 5 stars because they were slow to reply to emails and did not return telephone calls after we had bought the car.

When the car we wanted to buy was already sold they found us a different one with same specs. Very happy with the purchase

We ended up buying from here due to being sold an awful vehicle by another company. We had a really amazing experience here overall. Completely different and you are certainly getting luxury all round. Ryan was absolutely brilliant through the whole process and we could not recommend him enough. If you want to purchase a vehicle from here make sure to ask for him! He pushed our vehicle through from sale to key collection with a really short time frame as we needed the vehicle ASAP which was really helpful and considerate to us. Can honestly say I will never ever go anywhere else again for a vehicle. 10/10 experience from the whole team.
