We were delighted with our recent cottage stay. The accommodations were charming and offered a truly relaxing atmosphere. The house was of a very good standard, very comfortable and well fitted out.

Es war die perfekte Unterkunft. Traumhaft schön gelegen, der wunderschöne Inch Beach mit dem Auto 10 Minuten entfernt, ca. 30 Minuten bis nach Dingle. Auch für Unternehmungen nach Ring of Kerr, ist es geeignet . Die Gastgeberin wohnt in einem separaten Haus daneben, aber es war trotzdem sehr privat und nicht einsehbar. Sehr zu empfehlen ist in Dingle die Wildlifetour mit dem Boot und wir hatten das große Glück, Wale und Delfine zu sehen. Und wenn wir am Abend in unserem Bungalow waren, hatten wir diesen wunderschönen Blick auf den Atlantik und den Ring of Kerry. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch die Wanderung zum Anascaul Lake, und zu den Bergseen in den Wäldern oberhalb der Halbinsel.

An attractively located cottage with scenic views. Property accommodation was disappointing in that it was not as described on the website. The only usable shower was on the ground floor whilst the two bedrooms are on the first floor. Ground floor bedrooms and ensuite were closed and unusable at the time of our visit. This is not stated in the property description. Washing machine was not working during our visit. Property photos show terraced lawns. These were overgrown and unusable at the time of our visit. In my opinion, there is an excessive amount of furniture which creates a cluttered appearance inside the cottage. On the plus side, the conservatory is probably the best area of the house, being light and airy with superb views of lakes and mountains. We moved the patio set table into the conservatory and had all our meals there – preferring it to the kitchen area which has no scenic views. Photos and description should be updated to show actual available bedrooms and condition of the terraced garden areas. The owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The cottage has superb views of the Minaun cliffs and only a few minutes drive from most of the main amenities including a few gorgeous beaches. Inside the cottage is a little dated but very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. It could do with curtains/blackout blinds as we were woken very early with the sun shining in. The WiFi also is weak and stops working every couple of days. Our contact was extremely helpful however and usually had it working again soon after each time we let her know it was gone again. The cottage is in a quiet complex with the nearest restaurant (Pure Magic) within a walkable distance. Overall we had a lovely week and would recommend to others.

Everything nice and such a nice week in this part of Donegal.

Cooltra Lodge is the most amazing place to spend a week touring round Mayo. We saw such a lot in our week. The house had every conceivable facility so we wanted for nothing. Location was awesome and the sunsets were jaw dropping.
Great communication from both the owner and the housekeeper.

Nice location

A very spacious cottage in a stunning location overlooking the sea. A thoughtful welcome 'basket' of goodies on arrival. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. A convenient location for touring the whole of County Donegal - we also managed a trip to Derry. A call in at the friendly pub in the village is a must - The Strand. Shamrock Cottages/Caretaker were very responsive to queries and questions. Overall a great stay!

The cottage is really well equipped and clean, in an ideal location for exploring Wexford. The children really enjoyed crab fishing from the pier in the evening & saying hello to the friendly donkeys around the corner.

Everything was fabulous. The house, pool etc. It was only 5 minutes outside the town and within walking distance of 15/20 minutes.

Lovely, roomy cottage, it has full kitchen facilities and tv. Weather has sunny when we visited so we didn’t require the dryer and only watched a couple of footie games as we were out and about all day.

View is stunning. Plenty of beds and they are comfortable. The garden was a mass of weeds. You should weed beds and pots and plant some flowers! The kitchen and bathroom are very tired and in need of renovation. The garden was certainly not dog friendly as advertised! No wardrobes in the property these are needed. There was a rusty old BBQ ready for the tip just left in the back garden. Shower had practically no pressure and using immersion heater as instructed I only managed to get 2 inches of hot water for a bath which is ridiculous! The deck was very tired and needed painting and the garden furniture very past it needed replacing! Both the ovens were filthy and unusable when we arrived however owner had them professionally cleaned one day before we left which should have been done before!
