As a longtime customer I have had 2 orders labeled as delivered not arrive. Seed savers was of no help and treated me as if I was a thief. Have worked with many companies that have assisted and/or re-shipped orders that were never received.
Would strongly encourage anyone considering ordering from seed savers to look elsewhere.
Spent over a hundred dollars and seeds were never delivered. Called them and they actually lied to me, telling me they were resent, but they were not. Then when I called back, the woman gave me a fake name and told me they would call me back but never did. So, I called back later that same day, and the woman that answered the phone said that lady was not in that day (the one who said she'd call me back...), but said I should wait another 10 days for my seeds to arrive past the date they were to be delivered. NEVER AGAIN. Something is very wrong with this company now. They are failing fast.
Seeds never germinated. When I called they refused to ship replacements or discuss issues with packaging that may have caused the seeds to overheat
Total scam. Ordered seeds and never got them and they said they don’t deal with it after they take the order. I asked for a tracking number anything to help me. Nope. I even asked what service they used and they couldn’t have been any ruder. Did not want to deal with me at all - and I’m a nice freaking guy. I’m somewhat stupefied by their genuine lack of concern.
Seed Savers has the best Heirloom seeds. I have been ordering from them for over 10 years now. The selection may be a bit smaller than some other companies, but their seeds ALWAYS germinate without fail. Their seeds have the highest germination rate compared with any of the other companies I have ordered from. They ship a little slow, but you will get your seeds, so just plan ahead. They provide tracking numbers for your order as well. Customer service is always friendly and nice if you need to call about something. I would highly recommend Seed Savers to anyone that wants high quality Heirloom seeds.
The seeds are of great condition and work great
Second time I’ve ordered, second time I’ve received dead or unusable plants and seeds.
Can’t call because the mailbox is always full.
First time, they only replace plants, not a refund after they arrived dead. The seed packets and seeds arrived very moldy. I’d love to support this organization but not now.
