My furniture has not even arrived and I was promised to be delivered by the 20th December I have not even had any notification to say that it is coming. This is very disappointing service I have family coming for Christmas and now have no furniture in my house.

Avoid SCS at all costs!!!

We ordered our sofas since September at the Swindon branch. The sales people guaranteed us delivery in 8 weeks. 3 months later we were still waiting for the sofas . No communication, no updates, zero response after calling their customer services a million times and getting disconnected... Eventually after an awfully long waiting period, the sofas are delivered and alas!! They are too big to fit into our doors!! This is after the sales people had guaranteed us that the sofas will fit into our living room. Long story short, we are having to spend Christmas with our guests sat on the floor. How appalling!! After visiting the Swindon store to request for a change of order or refund they had the audacity to shift the blame on us. They said the order cannot and WILL NOT be cancelled as it is out of their hands. The Manager then suggests we cost share to have their upholster come and tamper with the sofas to make it "FIT" into our living room (sic). If not then we cancel the order and they will keep 25% of our deposit. This is really sickening. They should have had knowledge of their product and advice clients accordingly if the sofas will fit into their living rooms or not before processing any orders. We are absolutely gutted. Definately taking them to court. So while researching on how to go about with the process we found out there is a whole facebook page with 9,700 subscribers all having complaints about them. This is literally a movement. SCS SOFA& FURNITURE COMPLAINTS
The number of complaints is ridiculously high. At this rate there might be no ScS 5 years from now. They better change their mode of operations and put their clients needs first. We are definately proceeding with our complaint and will not settle until it is resolved and a full refund given!!!!

I still haven’t received my armchair ordered 3rd October

Appalling customer service as not contactable. No delivery either. Should have been 29/11/24. No idea what’s going on. Went into the Swindon shop last Sunday who said they’d call me personally by end of Monday, obviously not!!
Requesting a refund of the deposit as a total shambles and do not want to give them any more of my money. One unhappy customer to go along with so many others I can see.

Great service when agreeing purchase but then left hanging as to when we will recieve the purchase, you call customer support and hold times are ridiculous and your told that any customer agents cannot do anything regards delivery dates and times which is a joke. No branch telephone contact numbers available on Web site so all in all NOT a great experience at all and still haven't recieved sofa's

In reply to your message, I was assured by your sales manager at the Swindon store, deliveries would be MADE by Christmas, the store had HUGE posters stating Christmas delivery, and this was back in September, for which I took a photo, I explained I needed my sofa by 12/12/24 for which your staff said YES i would get it by that date. I then took a photo of your tracking system when it was up and running saying, due in your distribution centre on 12/12/24. For which I except, thinking I would get it a couple of days after that date. Your sales team tricked me into spending my money, they asked me No questions on estimated delivery dates, nor did they tell me of the small print on the second page of the sales ticket saying, delivery could be 4 weeks either way, of the estimated date. But there again I'm a pensioner and they saw me coming, they must of thought we won't mention this to her.
As I stated I will never buy from scs again nor, recommend you. I will have to wait for my sofa to be delivered if you fail as to what the contract states, I will ask and I'm entitled to a refund. ALSO the telephone number you ask us to phone comes threw as SPAM. So I guess I won't get a telephone call as I'm a pensioner and my calls are protected. So I guess you will have to email me, for which you don't do.

SCS are a bunch of crooks.
Ordered sofas 27.10.24 for guaranteed delivery on 03.12.24 still no contact after 18 hours on hold. Absolute bunch of thieving of cowboys!! Cash-back request for deposit, now got a call offering if can’t deliver my 30.12 would I take discount to receive the sofas. Total bunch of cowboys…please stay away

Furniture part of it would not get upstairs it would have if arm was taken off now I have to pay for an apholsterer to take it apart maybe just the arm and put together again could help if when it was delivered more time was spent on rectifying the problem at my home and not just taking it away bit of far thought would help and I would not have to wait again to get my sofa in and have to pay extra for upholster

Great experience in store and on delivery. A perfect service from start to finish. How all customer service should be.

I would give no stars if I could. Shocking I placed an order in Aug 24 it's now December. Still no furniture or update, can't get through on phone over 3 hours wait time, sorry I work for a living and can't sit around waiting for someone to answer phone. Unable to track online as its not working. Have filled out customer complaints form but if they not got back to me in a week I'm off to Swindon store and they can bloody well refund my money in full. Not good enough. scs you reading this? You need to contact every single customer that is waiting. Poor .So it's now 26th December and still no sofa chair or tables, told they were due in 20th and they were delivering until 24th but still nothing. Reading other reviews is very worrying. Most people having same problems. What the hell is going on scs. No furniture, delays to delivery. No explanations. Just bog standard stupid replies to these reviews of screen shot review and we will look into it. You know what scs, I'm coming in store for a full refund .

When the visited the store we were met by friendly staff - the young lady that assisted us was polite and didn’t pressure us to making any decisions. We were given space to find the sofa we liked and was assisted in choosing and purchasing our new sofa - we are awaiting it to be delivered.

Excellent service

From start in store to delivery at home everything went as planned. Friendly staff on store, I was kept updated throughout the process and the items were delivered on time by a team of very efficient guys who were polite and friendly and very conscientious in the home.

Great delivery guys. Both Adrian and Ryan were exceptional! I was in awe of how they got my new sofas through the doorways and into my lounge. No stress no drama and respectful of property. Very well done, thank you

Delivery date a nightmare and unable to speak to the store only HQ up north. Eventually spoke to someone there who actually helped up ( Michael) and sofa arrived a week or so late but arrived! With a promise of discount for mess up on delivery ( yet to receive) very frustrating however Delivery guys great

Website unhelpful as not worked for days and was not informed of delivery until I rang customer service.

Delivery drivers first class. Helpful polite and friendly.

The sales staff in Swindon branch were brilliant! Very helpful and delivered excellent customer service. Alex is an asset to your company.

Delivery times are longer than normal, partly down to import and customs delays getting from Italy to UK, but these sofas are hand built to a high standard and excellent quality. An extra wait was no issue for us.

Upon delivery, Rich & Dean were superb! Despite a challenging delivery, (these sofas are huge!) they were both undeterred and we managed to come up with solutions to get the sofa into the house. Both really good guys. Thanks so much!
