Helpful informative and friendly staff

Great service from choosing the sofa all the way through to its delivery.

The purchasing was ok and the staff were polite and considerate. Was just very disappointed in the fact that it took so long to arrive. It nearly 16 weeks which I think is beyond acceptable when you can place an order a few weeks before Christmas and get it for Christmas. So not very happy about the excessive wait time.

So pleased and my new furniture looks absolutely fabulous. The two chaps came and delivered it. They were so good they couldn’t do enough for me. Very pleased.

The store was clean and welcoming and the salesman knew his stuff.
Then 4 months go by with no update and I get an email one night to say they will deliver tomorrow. Not much warning, and no time get the old sofa removed. So at 5am on the day we had to rearrange the living room and I had to call into work to explain why I wouldn't be there.
The delivery guys were great. Fast, quiet and no bother.
The sofa is a thing of beauty.
But 24hr warning is unacceptable.

I was at work but my husband was home. The guys that delivered our furniture was very pleasant and professional. Bought furniture in and put everything together and put in place. Many thanks. It's stunning everything i hoped for. Both my husband and myself are very happy with our furniture and the staff first class 👏 😀

Delivered on time with excellent rebuilding. Nice attitude by both delivery staff. I was kept updated on delivery times.

We recently visited the store in Lincoln and had great service from a lady called Jayne, who took us on the customer journey and built the sofa around us and our needs. Great service, great comms, would highly recommend, just waiting for the delivery now. How excited are you so far?

I would have given 5 stars if the delivery date hadn't been so long. I have a medical condition and need this shaped chair for a particular reason. The sales lady was very helpful but I have to wait till August for delivery- it was Monday 20th April when I bought the chair.

Complaint Number 4! Apathy, indifference and total lack of any customer care. Promised a call back regarding ongoing complaint, didn't happen. I had to call them again. After multiple episodes of utter incompetence, we have had no option but to agree to a compensation payment rather than wait another four months for a second replacement sofa (this would mean waiting 12 months from original order). We are now left with a sofa that is effectively a 'second'. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Upon arrival at the Lincoln SCS department store on Good Friday 2026 the 1st thing that annoyed me was 2 sales persons were straight in front of me asking what was I looking for, considering it's a sofa store surely that answered their question. My wife and I wanted to have a look around the store to view the different sofas and suites on display as we wanted to renew our current suite with a new recliner suite. We found a corner sofa with an armchair it was then that I wanted to speak to a sales person then along came Brian he was very knowledgeable he also made us a coffee & answered all of our questions it was with Brian's help that we bought a new suite, its to be delivered in July we are very happy with our shopping experience. Thanks to all concerned especially Brian.

Very helpful in helping with fabrics and leathers. As it is a very New store I thought the staff were quite good they just need to find their feet and get comfortable with what they are doing which I'm sure will happen when they settle in.

I bought a sofa from the Lincoln shop initially but then changed my mind, went to the Grimsby shop to swap this with no issues, we were served in Lincoln by a man called Dave, just want to say what a lovely man he was, I have a son with a learning disability who is non verbal, Dave spoke with him which doesn’t always happen and my son fell, Dave helped straight away, very friendly, helpful and professional, thanks Dave !
