After waiting another two weeks without a sofa as delivery was not as informed I then took a full day off work as delivery was in the daytime and it arrived at 7pm!! So,lost a full days pay (The delivery men was really good but I could tell they was very overstretched) after unpacking the suite we find that the legs are a different colour to the chair and footstool and the recliner chair has no power pack so I am unable to use this, trying to get through is a nightmare as no option to press for customer care so on hold for over half an hour, eventually get through and I have to send an email with all the same information on that I had just told the aftercare team…. I despair and feel very sceptical on this being resolved quickly. (But I hope I’m wrong) it wasn’t the experience I wanted although the Grimsby store staff was fab!

Staff friendly and helpful on arrival, asked if we had been to the shop since the takeover and explained what sofas could be fitted with which fabrics. Then went on our way about the store. Sofas were all lovely and plenty of room to get an idea of how it would fit inside our own home.

Only issue was that every 5 minutes, or every time we moved to look at the next sofa, a member of staff would approach and insert themselves into the conversation or ask a question. I had expressed multiple times that I was only interested in looking at that moment, and when we were ready to purchase we would come and find them. Despite this, they continued to follow us through the store on both floors.

When we returned the next day to finalise the purchase, we were looked after by a different member of staff. Same shadowing as the first day.

However, the purchase process was quick and easy. Took no more than 10 minutes to enter and double check the entire purchase and be sent confirmation emails.

Would've been nice to be offered a hot drink and one of the tote bags during our purchase just to make the experience a little more enjoyable, but overall not bad.

Hoping the quality continues when our furniture arrives.

Welcomed by Paul and he gave us all the information we needed, we found the seaters we wanted and he was able to come to a price.

Kept up to date with delivery time and excellent delivery drivers

The salesman was very polite and courteous . He was very knowledgeable He explained all elements very well. He put together some prices for us as we wanted the sofa in a different colour. Unfortunately all the systems in the store went down but the helpdesk were not able to sort it. We went home to take some measurements. Later that evening we received an estimate via email. We returned to the shop 2 days later to sort things out.

We ordered a 2 seater chaise lounge with the end seat being a recliner and a single reclining chair.
My wife tested the recliner and even said to the sales assistant that we would need 2 x supplies one for each unit.
The sales assistant replied yes we would need separate supplies.
16 weeks later my sofa arrived and does not have a recliner.
When visiting the store and confronting the manager he reply was I should have checked the paper work .

I dont think you understood the point I was making.
Your reply is exactly the same as the one I got in store on Sunday.
In my opinion the sales person knew exactly what she was doing .
Either that or she completely forgot the conversation regarding 2 power supplies.
Also can you explain to me why you have read the wrong order ?
Maybe you should also check your paperwork ?

Very warm welcome from Martin. Not pushy at all. He was very helpful but allowed us to look without pressure. We were just looking…but the range of sofas were so good we just had to buy. Special mention to Sam as well in making the experience of buying a sofa fun!

Staff very helpful. Knowledge of each sofa and size was explained well.
