Terrible company

Terrible company. Constantly tells you your IMEI number isn't in their system. That they need 24-48 hours to send it to their back office to have fixed. Then they dont contact you at all. Csll them back and they say the same thing again. And again, and again and again.

Horrible, Atrocious

Horrible, phone was stolen so I was literally waiting for the insurance phone from Samsung care+ and I was told it will take 1-2 days to receive a RESPONSE on the situation after filing a claim. Submitted an online claim on tuesday, waited for 1 day and there was no response, called them and they said online response is not enough you HAVE to call them but that's not what they told me previously. Then I waited for 3 more days after the phone claim but nothing still. Called them and they said you have to just wait. no guarentee and just wait, have been waiting for a 1 week for the new phone and I just want to say Samsung Care+ is horrible and the customer service is atrocious, the guy does not care about you getting the phone or anything, just pushes the responsibility away and tell you he can do nothing. please don't get samsung if you can

Don't honour their own terms

Have been a loyal customer and spent a substantial amount of money with Samsung over the last few years.

Always had a good experience previously. Their doorstep repair service was second to none.

However, since outsourcing to Assurant, it's abysmal. I've never seen such a decline in service.

I have a smash on my screen which doesn't impact performance. I made a claim and was explicelty told to choose "in store repair". Travelled over 3 hours to the nearest store listed on their directory, only to be turned away and told they do not offer the service. A complete waste of a time and money, for which I'm having to press really hard to get reimbursed (given this was a booking made via their online journey).

I have been trying for over a month to get an accurate list of their repair stores. After 5 weeks of chasing, they advise "in-store repair" is not possible.

This is still an open claim that they should honour. It explicitly says on my claim that it is "in-store only".

Now they want me to go via courier which will take up to two weeks. Very archiac, especially considering previous experience. I don't have any faith in their courier service based on reviews here.

Communication and customer service is incredibly poor. The information and instruction provided by the team has changed several times in my experience. What should be straight forward and easy has had me going round the houses.

Assurant team are the most unhelpful I've ever come across. Either that, or they don't have a clue. Not sure which is worse but DO NOT USE. There are many other reliable and convenient offerings on the market.

STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG CARE

I have been a big fan of Samsungs but not any more. I got a s23 ultra which the screen smashed soon afterwards. I have paid the £60 towards the repair but it's been over a month and I still haven't had the phone fixed. When I complained to Samsungs NOTHING IS DONE. I was told lies they was going to replace it but the courier still haven't come to get it, and the reason Samsungs say the delay is because of no new screens??? This is the last time I be doing anything with Samsung, I have cancelled my direct debit and sent the phone back recorded delivery and ready for a fight. This isn't fair on the customer considering how many years I been using Samsung products but I am done. If you still want a Samsung DO NOT USE SAMSUNG CARE as they do not care about you or your product, but about the money.

I could write a really long story about how disgusting this company is, but long story short, the worst insurance company ever... there's no one to listen to your issue, hangs up the phone without even asking if i want something else...

Totally lost all confidence in Samsung

Totally lost all confidence in Samsung! My original warranty was set up to replace lost phones. After several years of no claims, I dropped my phone in the ocean. Customer service who barely speak English informed me that my plan changed without my knowledge. Just tried to cancel the insurance on the phone that I no longer have- what a nightmare! I'm so done with Samsung after over 22 years as a loyal customer!

Horrible Customer Service

I had a claim filed and when I called in regarding an issue about the claim Hinbal went ahead and canceled my claim and refunded my deductible. Then told me I had to redo the claim, but I cannot redo the claim because now my funds are on hold until the funds are returned. When asking for a manager I was refused because there was nothing they could do. I was not listened to and now because Hinbal was in a hurry to get me off the phone I will have to wait a week before my phone can get fixed.

Samsung Care Plus is ridiculous

Samsung Care Plus is ridiculous. I filed a claim online, and it charged me a $100 deductible. I get that, but then they put a $ 1,000 hold on my account until my broken, useless phone is returned to them. This is wild. How can they think it's okay to hold that much money in my account? I've been a loyal customer since the S2 came out. I will be seeking legal action soon, and several customers are going through the same thing

This is a scam

This is a scam. I have been a customer for 3 years. Never had a claim. Now my S22 has a crashed screen. I have been through hell with these people. Hours spent on the phone and no resolution. They can not find my service fee payment of USD 29. I sent them THEIR online receipt and my credit card transaction report. Still they are checking...days go by...and my phone remains inoperative.

Samsung charges for no coverage!

Wow! I guess I am not the only one. I carried Samsung premium care, paying every month for years. When I dropped my phone and called to place a claim it took several frustrating hours to ascertain my policy had "expired" 37 months ago. This would be fine but I continued to be charged! They acknowledge all of this, but several calls later, I have yet to get a refund. This is criminal. I wonder how many people they are charging without service?

Stay away

I purchased phone insurance late last year but had to return my phone due to coverage issues, Samsungcare+ said they would refund the money ($250) as long as I can show proof of return (phone) since February 2023 still no action or response to my emails and calls. Might see if a government body can look into this as it seems all reviews are terrible, they cannot keep doing this to customers

Extremely Disappointed with Samsung Care+ - One Star Rating

I am writing this review with great disappointment and frustration over my recent experience with Samsung Care+. As a loyal Samsung customer, I expected a seamless and satisfactory resolution to my issue, but unfortunately, it has been anything but that.

I had a replacement claim for Samsung Ultra S22, specifically the unlocked version, directly from Samsung. To my surprise, the device I received had AT&T software pre-installed and locked to AT&T, completely deviating from my original order. After reaching out to Samsung Care+, the situation only worsened.

My initial attempts to communicate with them went unanswered, leaving me in the dark about the return process for the incorrect device. When I finally received a replacement, it turned out to be a mix of two colored phones - front of a black and Back cover from gray . This level of carelessness is unacceptable, to say the least.

Furthermore, despite providing my contact information multiple times, I had to reiterate my concerns and details at each point of communication. This lack of internal coordination demonstrates a lack of professionalism and attention to customer needs.

The lack of accountability and clear communication throughout the exchange process has resulted in significant inconvenience and wasted time on my part. I expected better from Samsung, a brand that prides itself on quality and customer satisfaction.

What adds to my disappointment is the feeling of being taken for granted as a customer. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes and providing immediate assistance, Samsung Care+ has left me feeling unheard and unvalued.

I would strongly caution others against relying on Samsung Care+ for support. If they cannot handle a simple exchange process efficiently, I shudder to think how they would respond to more significant issues.

In conclusion, my experience with Samsung Care+ has been nothing short of frustrating, disappointing, and unsatisfactory. I have no choice but to award them a one-star rating for their mishandling of my case. I sincerely hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Samsung to reevaluate its customer service standards and deliver on the promises it makes to its customers.

What an absolutely terrible service provided by the Samsungcare+ insurance policy.

My phone was damaged accidentally and this was covered under the policy. Trying to lodge a claim was terribly convoluted.

After trying to no avail on two occasion on the phone I was sent an email with questions on to answer and hopefully initiate a successful claim. Once I had received the form and filled it out the calimnwas accepted. This was 3 days after my initial phone call to try get this sorted. So next step is I have to wait for DPD to come and collect as the nearest Samsung repair centre was 65 miles away from me in Manchester.
So I wait patiently for some further correspondence. Nothing received and then on Thursday out of the blue I receive an email saying the collection had failed?! I am told that it will be reattempted the next day. I wait in all the next day - no collection. Finally the phone gets collected on the following Monday - we are now over a week from initial phone call... i receive no confirmation that Samsung has received the phone or any correspondence whatsoever. On Thursday and Friday I email care plus for some kind of update... I get a standard response saying as soon as they have an update. Still I hear nothing so I call in on the Saturday... i am told they have the phone and its still waiting to be inspected!! They have had the phone almost a week... i am sat here writing this review on the Monday now and still no update or indication of when I might get the phone back! Terrible, terrible service - I could have taken the phone to the local shop and had it fixed the same day! I would never take this policy out with Samsung again and I would advise anyone else to seek third party insurance rather than use this shower of an organisation!

HONTEUX - A EVITER

HONTEUX, pas d'autres mots.
Mon au magasin pour réparation depuis 40 jours, j'ai reçu une confirmation de Samsung Care + pour acceptation de réparation sous couverture d'assurance, puis un autre mail d'annulation me disant que le dossier est en étude ?!?!?!
Echanges interminables (et non terminé) de mails avec leurs services qui me font balader…
Attendent ils la fin de ma couverture d'assurance ??

Bref, je déconseille, essayer de trouver une assurance indépendante.
J'ai pensé que cela serait plus facile avec l'assurance de Samsung mais non.

Franchise de 59€ payer en plus de mon assurance pour faire les réparations.
J'ai payé mais pas de retour, pas de réparations.

Jeg må desværre indrømme at SamsungCare er ren fup. De overholder ikke deres egen betingelser og det der står på hjemmesiden er desværre ikke rigtig. Der bliver ikke dækket noget. Det er kun for at tjene ekstra penge ved siden af. Jeg har desværre ikke fået dækket mit skærmskade på tlf til trods for at jeg har forsikringen. Det er mega ærgerligt. Jeg kan ikke anbefale at man skal købe samsungcare ved siden af.

AWFUL

Having an awful experience with Samsung Care+ trying to get my device fixed or replaced.

Started my claim Monday 22nd May, took around 15 attempts of calling the callcentre as impossible to file online (no login information provided), callcentre call quality awful hence having to make many attempts to start the initial claim.

Anyway, Monday evening the claim was finally started, and I was informed DPD would make contact to provide a collection date/ time - DPD did not make contact, they knocked on my door the following day and I wasn't ready to hand device over (as I had received no correspondence to expect them on that day) DPD driver very unhelpful/ not sure what would happen next.

Tuesday PM I try phone DPD - impossible to speak to a human as no collection/ parcel number provided. Spoke with Assurant (Samsung care+) and they assured me they would look into this/ fix this and update me via email.

Wednesday AM I have heard nothing from Assurant or DPD, although as previously assured that DPD will likely knock today, I had my phone wiped/ wrapped up ready to be sent for repairs. I phone Assurant Wednesday AM and they assure me the claim is still active, so he will likely knock today.

Wednesday 4.30PM I phone Assurant as still no email from them or DPD and working day is over. Assurant could not assist me as they had no direct communication with DPD or access to my collection number. Transfer me to Samsung, they cannot help either but lease with Assurant and then try contact DPD to fix the error. I'm 2 hours into Wednesday PM call at this point, and the call drops. I phone Samsung again, this advisor is not as helpful and sends me back to Assurant where they then cancel the claim and file a new one in hope of me receiving DPD correspondence moving forward.

Thursday 8AM- still nothing from Assurant r.e new claim number or DPD r.e collection details, I phone Assurant and they agree to send me an email. I get said email 2 hours later.
Thursday 2PM - still nothing from DPD or Assurant and no sign of collection today. I phone Assurant once again, and they investigate further and agree to update me via email. I FINALLY GET A DPD REFERENCE, which still does not provide a collection date. I phone up and am told I should be updated via DPD within the next 48 hours.

I'm pissed. My phone is broke, ive spent about 6 hours on the phone over the past 4 days, and my phone is still yet to be collected. I go on vacation in 9 days and the likelihood of having my device repairs & back with me by then is quickly slipping away.

All because of Assurant/DPD/Samsung logisitcal and or admin errors I am 4 days into my claim, and still don't have my device collected or know if I will have it back in time for vacation - which shouldn't of been an issue.

On a side note, on Monday one of my first interactions with Assurant they were guilty of a Major GDPR fail. When being asked security questions, I was provided the answers for each question rather than asked. E.g. "confirm your name is Joe Bloggs" "Confirm your address is 123 fake address road" "Confirm your email is Joebloggsfakeemail @ samsung.com" I raised this to multiple advisors at Assurant, and nobody really cared/ acknowledged the GDPR breach. A guy at Samsung said he would make note of this though (Wed PM where the call dropped).

Can't believe I'm paying a £115 excess for such an awful, confusing, unprofessional experience where I likely won't have my device repaired in time for travel - 12 days after filing an initial claim.

The irony of all this is that my device will likely be a write off anyway - Fold 4, Hinge broke & Large screen has black line, no touch function.

No Service/Response

Literally does not respond to emails even though their autoreply says they respond in 24 to 48 hours. When you give someone limited time to activate their protection plan on a new device or you reserve the right to cancel the plan, you need to be answering questions about the activation process in a timely manner. I've been waiting almost 3 weeks with no reply.

I'm not sure I should bother activating my insurance on my new watch, maybe I should cancel and stop paying for the "service." If this is how they treat customers then I'm afraid that when I actually need to file a claim or get a repair that I will face the same thing.

the worst…

servify.tech provides the worst possible customer service EVER - DO NOT BUY!!!!

Our phone got stolen, so I called to file a claim and here is a recap of the terrible service!!

DAY 1

Went to the Samsung Care + website and attempted to file a claim, account information not recognized, so I called the support telephone number. I explained the situation to three different people and then got disconnected. Total time 16 mins.

Agents spoke with a terrible accident and the connection was spotty at best.

Agents attitude was very unpleasant.

Called again, after 15 mins, I was told that the policy is with servify.tech.

Called servify.tech - I was rudely informed that the claimed had to be filed via the website.

Submitted the claimed with the police report.

2 Days Later

Called servify.tech - I was rudely informed that the claim takes 3-5 business days to process. 18 minute call.

4 Days Later

No new updates

Called servify.tech - It took the agent 19 minutes to find out that it's still in process. i was told that it would be "A LITTLE TIME" to process. Explained the the agent that I was told it would be 3-5 business days for processing, so the agent raised the issue with their manager.

I requested a call back from the manager - but first I had to explain that they could not call me back at the telephone number of the stolen phone, alternate number provided.

I will not hold my breath for the call back.
