Selling a saddle second hand can be hugely stressful but not with Saddles Direct. It did take a few months but they were true to their work and very professional and communicative. Highly recommend.

I went to look at saddles here as my current saddle was tipping me forward. Sarah Parry, saddle fitter, had a very close look inside and found multiple shims which were not meant to be there, which was the whole cause of my problem. My saddle now fits well and feels good to ride in. Thank you, Sarah for providing a first class service. Note - have your saddle checked, I had been riding in this for 6 months!

Saddles Direct provides a generally positive experience with efficient service and friendly staff. While there have been issues such as incorrect saddle sizing and wrong orders, their customer service team is responsive and helpful in resolving problems. The website is easy to navigate, offering convenient buying and selling steps. Some shipping hiccups occur, but they manage customer queries and refunds well. Overall, the service is satisfactory.

I was really pleased to receive the payment for my saddle today - exactly as expected. the whole process was easy and Saddles Direct kept me informed of the progress of the saddle, so I always knew what to expect. Very pleased with the result.

Saddles Direct were incredibly helpful throughout my time searching for a saddle.
Unfortunately I didn't receive my trial saddles when I needed them but this was the fault of the delivery company

I first used Saddles Direct last year when I was looking for a dressage saddle. I was visited by Claire who I cannot rate highly enough. There was no hard sell or pushy sales pitch. She had bought a great range of saddles based on what I’d asked for and she really took the time to try each one and watch me ride. I didn’t have the biggest budget in the world but I fell in love with a beautiful Fairfax, which I would’ve have taken at the price on the tag but, upon ringing the office, Claire found out the saddle had in fact been reduced and sold it to me at the reduced price!
Talk about an honest sale!

Since then, Claire has been out 3 times to me to check my saddles and every time has been the same positive experience. She knows I’m considering upgrading my jump saddle but rather than insist I needed a new one, she checked over my existing saddle and reassured me it would be fine in the interim and that she would keep a look out for me for anything suitable until I was in a position to buy. There is no pressure to commit on the day, no critical eye when she watches you ride or handle your horse, just an incredibly knowledgeable saddle fitter who goes above and beyond to accommodate. She shows a genuine interest in the horses and my 5-year-old 16.3 ISH, who normally has 0.5 second attention span, lets Claire measure and feel and swop saddles to her heart’s content without batting an eyelid!

I really cannot recommend Claire highly enough and I will 100% be continuing to use and recommend Saddles Direct because of her. Plus and slightly aside, their trial system is brilliant and being able to pay invoices online makes the process super simple.

Recently sold my saddle through Saddles Direct and received payment quickly once it cleared the cooling off period. Really happy with the service. Also been able to trial saddles in the past from this company and met one of their fitters. Very knowledgeable and experienced and even though none were the right fit for my horse and me at the time it helped me know what to look for and meant I finally found a saddle that was perfect for us both!! Highly recommended!
