Complete & utter disgraceful service.

I had multiple problems with the service, especially when my ceiling collapsed the following day due to a faulty boiler installation.

No apology, no compensation & no admission of any fault.

BE AWARE- Rip off pricing.
The price we were quoted was £49.50 ph for labour plus parts, (which seemed reasonable as google suggested £40 - £70 ph for a plumber). They said this included a pensioner discount.
It was not an emergency call-out.
The price we were actually charged was £149.00 plus VAT for the hour it took, plus the parts. They swear the £149ph price was quoted at the outset. We beg to differ.
Also, they only let you see the invoice when you have paid. I won’t be recommending them based on this price or practice.
The plumber who came fixed the problem and fitted a new valve in the toilet cistern.
The total bill came to £236.41.

PLEASE NOTE: the response from the company appears that they are keen to put right the wrong, but despite me providing them with the details they asked for on 20th February 2026 I have not heard a thing from them as at 4th March 2026.
Also, when the work was completed, the company sent a link for me to rate them. I responded with a one star rating about the rip off pricing. Needless to say that they have not published that on their website and indeed only two glowing reviews have been posted in the last month. I posted this review independently so that others would not be seduced by their self-edited review status on their website. Another disgruntled customer already said that their review was not included. Shame on them from hiding the truth from their customers.

Boiler serviced in no time at all

Easily contactable and engineer confirmed appointment for same day. Arrived on time and presented well. He was very efficient, serviced my boiler in no time and was very courteous and helpful throughout the time he was here. I would highly recommend this person and will use again in the future.

The plumber stayed maybe 15 mins

The plumber stayed maybe 15 mins, did not resolve the issue and then when I tried to ring Rightio back, all I could get were three options for if I was looking for work. No customer services response at all, and I tried two different numbers. They also charge £216 for the visit. Would definitely not recommend.

If I could score minus i would I should…

If I could score minus i would I should have seen all the warnings but didn't.Saw advertisements in local magazine it gave a local phone code so believed they were local, they are not. When I phoned for a shower which had a sticking thermostat dial the first thing I was asked was my post code they said they had people in my post code that had there policey and would I be interested. That was the first warning I missed. Then told it would be £159 to get someone to me very quickly. That was the second warning I missed. They then asked for my card details saying this was just like a hotel would do. I can't believe I missed that warning but I did. Plumber turned up with no more than a screwdriver and a pair of pliers after. Looked at shower couldn't have been here more than 10 mins said shower was unrepairable and after playing around on his tablet told me they could repair for £400+ this did not include labour which is charged at £100+ per hour. I was then told the bill was £190 I said that was not what I was told on booking. Plumber said he would contact office and tell them to listen to recored call. Please avoid this company I feel like I have been completely SCAMED I have since contacted a local plumber who came and looked and can do the same job for £260. I hope people read this to protect vulnerable people from this appalling company. BE WARNED

Same day call out

Same day call out, but didn't have stuff on van to complete had to come back next day, charged more than they said. The man went at least 4 times to his van never fetched anything just taking up time. Then I noticed he took the single water connection with him as well as my hot water connection. I know it wasn't being used but it could have been left. So my guess is they charge someone for them parts they took from me.

Do not use this company

Rightio qouted £172 to fit a new shower and check a faulty flushing toilet. The plumber arrived on Thursday and had trouble fitting the shower and left it as it was getting late. He said he would return on Friday to complete it. He did not return on Friday and the company said he would return Saturday. He did not! Iwas told he would return early Monday. He arrived at 12.30, finished the shower and replaced the toilet flush, which I agreed a price of £80 plus VAT. I have been charged over £500. This is extortionate. Do not give your card details prior to the job. The company would not negotiate the price. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Borderline fraud. Plumber was called out to a leak. Fixed the leak and created a blockage. They are saying they don't fix blockages. Im in a worse position than I was before and they are refusing to help. 250 quid and the plumbing is worse than when they came. Also refusing to provide job report or invoice. Avoid these cowboys unless you enjoy the small claims courts..

Extremely happy with their services

Extremely happy with their services, from customer service to the plumber. Very efficient, you can tell they are very experienced. Did the job very well and went beyond to get the job done as quickly as possible, I feel they really care about keeping the costs down. Very transparent, explained everything, showed everything that was done, made great recommendations to avoid major disasters in the future. They also offer 12mths guarantee. Highly recommend.

Inefficient. Expensive and Unhelpful

The plumber they sent was unable to accurately diagnose the fault in boiler despite checking YouTube videos and waiting for a call back for an opinion from a colleague. I was then contacted by the sales team to try and sell me a new boiler, but didn’t hear back from Rightio about when the job could be finished. When I called them back and questioned what was going on I was quoted £700 parts, but couldn’t give a full quote until they could contact the ‘engineer’. So we terminated Rightio.
We hired a local plumber who charged £300 for those parts and completed job same day.
In my opinion Rightio should be avoided, as my experience was that they are expensive, inefficient, and focussed on the upsell to try and get you to buy a completely new boiler.

From first contact I was very pleased…

From first contact I was very pleased with the efficiency of this company. My problem toilet was sorted the same day.
The young engineer Ryan was very good explaining everything clearly.
Although the initial charge seemed high at the time I was happy to pay to get the job resolved.

Supposedly a local firm

Advertised in local magazine with a local number. We are a charity that needed work doing quickly. Quoted £174 + VAT per hour or part thereof. Wouldn’t invoice but wanted payment by card. Steer clear!

Highly recommend

I highly recommend RIGHTO as they got the pressure in my boiler back to normal after a radiator leak and a stiff pressure knob on my boiler got stuck.
From calling, to the engineer arriving I received a friendly and efficient service from the commpany.
The engineer arrived within an hour, repressured my radiator, checked that I'd fixed the leak and stayed to check the heating was working and there were no more leaks.
I'd happily use them again.

I would leave 0 stars if I could .My sister in law who is a pensioner contacted rightio through a local magazine advert to have her small shower tray resealed on 2sides was quoted £164 and then charges another £46 on completion of a 30 minute job so £210 all in absolute daylight robbery, job was an absolute mess so called them to come back and sort. Arranged a time but got a text saying they couldn’t make it
I will now be going to trading standards to report this charlatan of a company
