Very smooth transaction and easy pickup from the store. The headphones are amazing!

Have used Richer Sounds a few times in the past. Main reasons are - longer warranty than rivals and favourable opinion of business model (employee owned). Used telesales this time and had an excellent experience. Assistant was knowledgeable and efficient, even informing me that the price had dropped that morning. All in all a great experience.

Being able to listen to different systems privately in the demo room gives them a huge advantage in customer service.

It is hard to believe how committed Richer Sounds is to mis-selling awful hi-fi equipment. I bought an expensive system from the branch on Fulham Road, London, including a CD player and amplifier by ARCAM. The first CD player did not work, then NEITHER DID THE SECOND, once replaced. Eventually, RS agreed to swap these useless British-made products for a Marantz made by people who know what they are doing, in Japan.
Now, a few months later, the ARCAM amplifier has also packed up. I am as angry as I am in despair with this expensive rip-off.
I have now paid an independent hi-fi expert to make FIVE visits to try and keep this wreckage afloat, and he is coming again today.
One gets so tired of people saying 'oh, it is a renowned brand' - of both ARCAM and Rs, but now I just expect everything to go wrong.
All of which is stressful, time-consuming... when all one wants is to enjoy one's music. Richer Sounds and ARCAM are a better advertisement for Sevenoaks hi-fi and Japanese/Chinese equipment than either could ever devise for themselves!

Item ordered mid afternoon Monday and arrived early morning the next day - superb service. Unfortunately, the item did not resolve the issue I have but that is my problem to resolve and I have to emphasize not Richer Sounds' fault at all.

Order delivered quicky and exactly as promised. Very friendly service.

Should have been an easy 5* as I figured out what I wanted last Black Friday but was too slow getting the order in within that period. This time I was on the ball but there were two issues 1. I asked for a black framed TV and was walked to the TVs on display and shown that they are all black including the back - hence it was not needed to be specified. When my TV arrived it had a silver frame! & 2. The delivery service used sent out an automated text late at night the day before delivery and there is no-one to adjust the timing with or even postpone/cancel that delivery. I submitted a cancellation online but it was ignored. When the driver called I asked him to arrive before 10:30am but it was clear from watching his progress on the map supplied he made no adjustment to his schedule and arrived late resulting in the delivery not being made to the required room as promised. So the price was good but other parts of the service were severely lacking.

I highly recommend this store.

Despite the store being closed for training, the store manager, Loïc, let me into the store and took time to talk to me about amplifier options, pros and cons of separates and set-ups, music tastes, sound requirements and so on - it was a great experience and trust was established with a knowledgeable person who appreciated what I was after, with no hard sell or pressure to choose one item over another. The follow-up service on collection was excellent - friendly and professional - and gave me confidence in both the amplifier and the service support. The sound quality once home was immense, so great advice led to a great listening experience. Highly recommend.
