Another great trip, found through Responsible Travel. The local operator in Turkey, Fez Travel, were absolutely brilliant. Organised, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Being a local company meant lots of local knowledge about good places to visit and eat, with a focus on small locally run cafes, restaurants and projects such as a rug making cooperative that employs local women and ensures good working conditions. I learned so much from the highly knowledgable tour guide. The itinerary included main sites in Istanbul which were amazing and impressive, the Gallipoli visit was moving and is in such beautiful scenery, and the ancient sites of Troy, Pergamum and Ephesus were thrilling. Would definitely book with them again.

We have just returned from a wonderful small ships cruise organised by Responsible Travel.
They arranged the entire trip from flights to transfers and the actual cruise . Everything proceeded like clockwork. They kept us updated from the moment we booked through them. They always replied swiftly to any queries and were really helpful and supportive. In addition to that of course I liked the company ethos of supporting local communities and the environment. I can highly recommend them.

Responsible Travel were very helpful in identifying unusual but ethical holidays and very efficient at putting us in touch with the different holidays we were interested in. The one we chose in Croatia lived up fully to the promise of being ethical and was also a great holiday.

I go to responsible Travel before I book anything and have always been happy with their service which I have used on several occasions over the years . I know the companies they recommend will be first class and have been screened for their environmental credentials.

I have just returned from a wonderful swimming trip "island hopping in Croatia" and it was amazing.
From my initial enquiry through to booking and the holiday itself was a smooth journey! The trip was run by a family business and used local restuarants, hotel and guides. The swimming was the best ever - crystal clear wates in bays where no-one else was! Definantley recommend

I recently travelled to Canada on a small group tour organised through Responsible Travel. It was a well planned itinerary, great group of people and the guides were exceptional.

I've used Responsible Travel for a few trips now and really love them for the breadth of options they offer. My mum and I recently went to Norway to see whales in the Arctic fjords, which was absolutely incredible, and now we're looking at going to Greenland! They're the best for wildlife and nature tours.

I travelled to Costa Rica on a volunteering holiday that I found through Responsible Travel and had the most amazing time. The team were helpful in finding the right trio for me and always available on the phone when I called for help or questions.
I live the variety of trips they have o. Offer and will always be going through them to find my next holidays!

OMG I am so disappointed with Responsible Travel. I contacted them twice on the phone. The first time they did not ask for any of my details, which I took in good stride, thinking they do not have a pushy selling technique, which deffo appeals to me. However then I called them again making a more specific inquiry about a trip and they promised to get back to me to answer questions they could not answer on the call. There was no follow up email, which I put down to them noting incorrectly my email (although they checked it three times). Suddenly out of the blue a marketing email lands in my inbox, which I did not ask for. So they do have my email! They also have a bizarrely relaxed way of dealing with customers at the point of inquiry, which leaves little faith in how they are going to deal with me later on or if there is a problem.

We have used Responsible Travel before when travelling to Tanzania, so they were the perfect choice when we decided to visit Romania. it is helpful knowing the companies they work with follow the same ideals. They put us in touch with Absolute Carpathian and responded quickly to all our queries which definitely helped the booking process.

Helpful advisors when choosing a trip and easy to book. Really good information before the holiday.

Responsible Travel took all the effort out of searching for that all-important get-away. Not only did they come up with an interesting selection from which to choose but all were, importantly, eco-friendly holidays.
Cruising the Western Isles of Scotland was a magical experience. From our meeting at the Marina to the goodbyes at the end of the journey we felt very 'at home', so relaxed and comfortable and the food was 'simply amazing!

I only had a few days to spend in the Atacama Desert, and Francisco was the best partner to help me to make the best use of the time. We have been in touch daily before my arrival, and he adapted the programs with great flexibility based on my interests and my changed travel plans. In an extremely short time I visited the Red Rocks, the salty lagunes and did sandboarding, and had a stunning night with 2 astrophysicists observing the night sky and discussing astronomy. Francisco made sure that i did not need to care or worry about anything, just enjoy the experience. Everything went smooth and on time, he was constantly attentive and a great communicator, the hotel booked was of best quality, the transfers were always on time and the programs were top notch. I can fully recommend his services and cant wait to come back to explore more.

Hi, you Recommend responsible travel. Just back from a fantastic holiday in the is in Ponta Delgada whale watching. We saw many types of dolphin and whale but most spectacularly the blue whale. Thank you to all the staff at the whale and dolphin connection, especially Carina. Thank you to all the staff at Futurismo who works extremely knowledgeable and always respectful of the animals. I highly recommend this holiday.
