I contacted Red Dog Music looking for a recommendation for an electronic piano. The staff member immediately had a suggestion to meet my needs and answered all of my questions. They were flexible in regards to delivery, as I was not able to be at home to receive the item immediately.
They also intervened when DPD failed to deliver the item on the allotted day, and were communicative about the rearranged delivery.

Fantastic staff and gave me options on everything i needed. Turns out, everything they suggested has turned out to be a blessing. My music production on the m-audios sound amazing. Will defo be coming back to purchace more equipment.

I've dealt with their London and Edinburgh shops on a few occasions. Really down to earth non-pushy sales team and management. Always really helpful and conscientious, and competitive with pricing.

Wanted a brand new Nord Electro HP5 which RDM at Edinburgh were happy to order - only to find out Nord had stopped making them! They did get me the brand new HP6 in as soon as it was available (and took my old HP3 in part-ex!) so I'm now gettin' (no g) my head around some wonderful new sounds! Great service (almost one-to-one in my case) and as helpful as can be.

Purchased portable amp.
They ordered the amp in, gave me a date and let me test in within the shop.
Extremely helpful staff without no hard sales tactics.
They provided me with a guitar, mic and leads and let me get on with testing the amp.
I made a much more confident buying decision being able to go in and test it rather than the uncertainty of buying online.

Excellent! Bought a guitar from the London branch two years age - excellent service.
Needed a part, contacted Edinburgh. They made sure that I was ordering the correct part, told me how long it would take, 8 weeks.
When the 8 weeks were up I phoned and the part was in. They had forgotten to tell me. So what, it was an honest mistake!! They were very apologetic and mailed the part to me that day. The Edinburgh branch was very courteous and helpful. I have no hesitation in encouraging people to take a look.

Absolutely amazing store. I was in Edinburgh for a few days and thought I’d pop in. The place is like an Aladdin’s cave covering everything, drums, guitar, electronics, keys, samplers etc. I had a great chat with one of the team who talked me through some midi keyboard controllers, and I walked away with a nice M-Audio oxygen 25 which was the same price in store as it was from multiple online retailers. Prices great, range great, staff great - had a genuine conversation about bands and influences etc and felt under no pressure at all - something I hate in other places! Love this shop, will buy from again and will pop in for sure the next time im in Edinburgh.

Nothing has been too much trouble, I’ve had a couple of issues with the guitar I bought (no fault of red dog) but they sorted everything out very quickly and without a fuss. Excellent customer service I will definitely shop again and recommend them to all my friends

Fantastic service! After several emails enquiring after a 'used' Ampeg bass amp, all handled promptly and politely by Niall, I ordered the amp on Thursday afternoon and it arrived at 12:15 on Friday morning! The amp came from Edinburgh all the way to the opposite end of the country Romney Marsh in Kent, well packed, in perfect condition and the shipment was free of charge. The 'used' amp appears brand new has a 2 year guarantee. Perfect deal, fantastic service and thanks again Niall for all your help. Highly recommended.

An excellent shop. I bought a guitar from Red Dog a year ago and liked the place so much that it was my one-stop-shop to ask advice on, and later purchase, a full keyboard upgrade. The staff know their stuff, accommodate budget constraints, and offer great post-sales service too. I wish them well and will always make them my first choice for music-related purchases.

The post sales service was fantastic.

After originally purchasing the Komplete Kontrol S25 (2 octaves) keyboard as part of the Komplete 11 Ultimate package, I quickly realised I wanted the 4 octave version. Problem was I had already opened the box and registered the software before I changed my mind!

I took the keyboard to the Edinburgh shop and very soon a friendly chap called 'Will', sorted it out in a few minutes.

He was able to quickly call his contacts at Native Instruments and explain the situation. Happily they agreed to exchange the keyboards and I only had to pay the difference of the larger keyboard. No admin or additional fee!

I very much doubt if I could have done this if I bought the package online.
