My Husband and I recently visited the Uddingston showroom where there were lots of sofas and chairs on display….Brill !
A lovely lady called Elaine was very helpful. She could answer all our questions we asked and helped us purchase exactly the suite and footstool we were looking for. Elaine has excellent customer service.

Today we were in the Uddingston branch to look at suites and we came across the lovely Elaine . Such an incredibly knowledgeable and personable lady who took out so much time showing us different types of sofas / colours to make sure we got what we were looking for. At no point did she pressure us or try to increase our budget. She knew exactly what we had and worked with it to get us our dream sofa . Would 100% recommend r&j leather and I only hope this lady gets a bonus as she is a real asset to the company. Can’t wait until we get our new sofa . Lesley and Rosemary

recently visited uddingston store bought a suite from elaine she was very helpful and made it very easy for us to choose would recommened r and j leather and elaine especially to anybody very friendly and not at all pushy would buy off her again 5 stars all the way

Elaine at the Uddingston branch made our shopping experience lovely, she treated us like friends and not customers and wasnt pushy as in only wanting your money unlike a few stores. If we had a question it was easily answered and she was really good with our autistic grandson even if he did steal her juice. Would definitely recommend this store.

Ive had our suite for one year, and we had a small problem with the cusions, they came out no problem, took the suite away and returned it same day. The chaps were very pleasant and polite. Great service.

I visited R & J Leather in Uddingston today, with a view to making some enquiries. I am moving house and there are some complications due to work needing to be done following a burst pipe so I had no intention of ordering my suite today. I had previously had a first class experience with R & J Leather and wanted to order the same suite in a different colour, but due to the delay in moving into my new home, I thought it would all be too complicated to organise this early. Far from it. Gwen (a lovely person, who clearly treats customers as she would like to be treated) could not have been more helpful. As with my first purchase, there was no high pressure sales, just a quiet professionalism and honest advice about the practicalities. Long story cut short, I have now placed my order, confident that the Company will live up to the high standard of service which I experienced last time I ordered from them, in 2021.

I just paid alot of money for my 3 seater and 2 chairs real leather don't get me wrong it looks beautiful but my problem is my 3 seater arm is really slack my USB is not working and the leg is bend in the middle of the 3 seater as well I just feel I have paid alot of money for them to come out and repair it as its only 2 weeks old the actual lady was lovely who I spoke to but I feel its unfair of them to except for me to accept a repair as it only 2 weeks old as I have said

In shop experience was excellent, wide choice of sofas. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be. Delivery drivers James and Jamie were very efficient and helpful.

Had my new suite delivered today by 2 very efficient and professional delivery men James and Jamie who took the time to explain how to put backs on and off bases very polite and friendly
A credit to R & J leather

Purchased a 3+2 leather suit from R&J leather just over 2 years ago and noticed that two of the seats had lost some stuffing contacted company and were out within 24 hours and did a first class repair no problems and guys were very courteous and professional well done R&J leather

We purchased our leather suite (bonded leather) from R & J approx. 5 years ago & took out insurance, although we didn't have any real issues with it, the warranty was nearing it's end & the leather bonding started to show signs of blistering! We contacted the insurers & they sent out an engineer who put the blistering down to normal wear & tear. My wife & I were not happy with their findings or conclusion of the problem, we contacted R & J Leather who in turn contacted the insurers and got back to us (Very quickly I may add) and said that the insurers were sticking to their original assessment. R & J Leather at this point said they would replace the whole suite with a new one (full leather, not bonded) which was delivered on the 1st of March 2023. The men who delivered it told us that R & J no longer sell Bonded suites.

After trawling through a number of furniture stores we eventually went into R&J leather's Uddingston store.
We had a look around both floors of their large store, trying the various sofas on display.
After a while we were approached by Gwen, the store's customer service rep.

Gwen welcomed us and briefly explained a bit about what they have on offer, and left us to continue our search.

When we found what we thought was a style that suited us, we attracted Gwen over to assist us
with a few questions we had.

Gwen patiently answered our queries and showed us the various configurations available for our sofa - from static, to manual or powered recliner types. When selecting our sofa's colour she even went as far as showing us the colour swatch in outdoor lighting to let us see what the leather looks like in different lighting.

Gwen then put together a quote for our choice, including the sofa's dimensions for us to double check at home.

Next day we came back, but we had decided overnight to consider some upgrades. Gwen happily went over our options again, and thankfully she helped us finalise a sofa set that was perfect for us.

We came away with that feeling that we've made the right choice, and are looking forward to our reclining sofas arriving.

We would not hesitate to recommend R&J, it was a pleasurable shopping experience.

Scott and James delivered our new suite and uplifted the one which we had very kindly been loaned by the store at Uddingston where we also got excellent service . Scott and James were so professional and wouldn’t leave until we were entirely satisfied with the position of our two couches. They were cheery and friendly and an asset to your company.
