I have used Protyre in Kilmarnock a number of times over the years so as I had a nail through my tyre I didn’t hesitate to visit this garage again
Helpful and efficient staff puncture repaired within ten minutes would not hesitate to recommend these guys

Excellent service, reliable and very helpful.

Used these guys before when i thought i needed a new tyre and they fixed a puncture saving me cash. So straight to them again, taking the van to Europe, so wanted to make sure i was safe tyres wise, already ordered two new tyres that were fitted super fast. Stevie went above and beyond, checking the van and talking me through there great alignment machine. Left very happy and confident for our trip.

I cannot fault the Kilmarnock team. In particular, the quick service from Stevie, who changed by break pads in no time at all, when I was in a hurry. Thank you!

Great service and advice from Alan and the guys, got advice for the best tyres for my 4x4 and wheel alignment

Steer clear for motorcycles. The garage matched the prices on the Protyre website and got tyres in the next day for me. I had to take the wheels in off the bike (no big deal). They charged slightly less than I was expecting, all good so far; however…. They wrecked my rims. COVERED in scratches and chips: both rims, both sides. “Can’t be avoided” they said “we touched it up with the pen” - they used black marker which will not last and just adds to the mess of my rims. I have fixed punctures on these before, in the middle of the woods, and kept them spotless. I’m gutted tbh. It took them 3hrs to destroy my wheels. AVOID, I should have fitted the tyres myself but thought the free fitting was a bonus, obviously not. This was on Tue 22 July 2025 and my wheels are off a crf300. Go elsewhere they do not deserve your business.

Excellent tyres at a good price, fitted while I waited with tracking checked and adjusted as required to rectify tracking error. An excellent service from friendly staff. Well pleased with my visit and the resulting improvement to my car's handling.

Im afraid I wasnt impressed with my recent visit, took over an hour to change tyres and I had booked a wheel aligment check to which I didn't recieve any information on that when picked up car.

Fitted us in last minute as my tracking was off and had to get a new driver side tyre as well. Stevie was quick and handy. Gave us the best price possible and was really reasonable and friendly. Would recommend *****

Tyres are good quality and fitted well but felt customer service interaction could have been more friendly in branch. Not really any interaction at all. Also called the branch on the phone for price of 2 tyres and was quoted over £96 per tyre. Ended up buying the same tyres online and payed a lot less for the tyres. Fitted in same branch I called. Paid around £68 each for same tyres. £136.30 in total. A lot less with online price. Just feels not best customer service for those relying on call. Overall happy with tyres purchased at price I eventually paid. Branch experience may put me off though.
