Avoid this company at all costs. They will make you jump through hoops if you want to switch out from them. Tagged me with $100 policy fee, $25 misc fee, and another 3% on my annual premium by calling it credit card fees. Slick. Went w/ State Farm. Worked w/ this Taylor lady and she was a nightmare know-it-all. Refused to cancel my policy until I shared w/ her what her competitor was charging. 40% cheaper on their rates. What a nightmare experience! I asked for explanation on the $320 that they stole and it took 5 people and 15 emails so I just gave up.

Taylor Stults was fantastic in explaining the coverage differences between Proper’s business coverage vs competitors’ landlord coverage. Underwriting was done largely through my VRBO listing, making it super efficient and painless and the pricing is very fair considering the coverage.

I was amazed at how quickly and easily Proper processed our claim. A settlement amount was reached within hours of my first phone call to them. So easy, and the coverage is fantastic. Elizabeth Douma was our adjuster and she made it very easy and responded immediately.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for having Chad at Proper Insurance handle my extraordinary claim. This claim was an extremely complicated and stressful situation for me to work through but with my contractors, adjusters and Chad, we were able to get my STR back up and running quickly by comparison.
