N o one asked me about how payments we going to be made they did tell me I may not have insurance because I wasn’t making the cut off at 12 but someone would be on touch with me and they actual try to take the payment out of my personal account as of today the payment still hasn’t been drafted. So I don’t know what’s going on and my provider is saying the payment needs to be made.

We’ve had a frustrating experience using the Take Command platform. While the concept is great in theory, the execution has been lacking. The system is not very intuitive, and basic functions like managing employee statuses or resending invites are either difficult to find or unavailable. This has created unnecessary administrative challenges for our team.
Additionally, support and flexibility seem limited when trying to resolve common issues, which adds to the overall inefficiency. We were hoping for a smoother, more user-friendly experience, but unfortunately, the platform has not met our expectations.

This is for Stephanie, a Customer Support specialist, and only for Stephanie. She rocks!! She is so informative about the health insurance plans, the overall application process, and was so quick and efficient with aligning on next steps for my HRA approval. I want to hire her for my own company, she is so good!! Give her a raise!! The other two Customer Support people I spoke with were SO AWFUL and gave me completely incorrect information while having me on hold for 20 minutes. But Stephanie was speedy and solution oriented. Yay Stephanie, thanks girl!!

This company sucks. Their systems are a complete mess. Their service agents don't take any ownership for things they are supposed. Everyone wants to pass the buck to someone else or push you to do it on line where their systems just don't work. It is the absolute worst experience I have had with any company EVER. Stay away.
This company has gone from bad to worse. The customer service is atrocious. They have a bot that gives you wrong information. The reporting is ridiculous now. The wait times to deal with issues are out of control. It seems they are hoping you will give up so they can keep overbilling. They still send out articles that are completely outdated and irrelevant to their current system. BEWARE!!

Maybe one of the worst platforms for your company to take on for insurance. Constant issues. If you have a complex issue the chat assistance will just stop talking to you. They have no way of escalating issues over chat. Our own HR department says what a nightmare take command is. If you are considering this platform for your company run far far away.

Using and navigating the site is super challenging. Very difficult to filter plans into easy to compare bunches or filter out bunches by plan name type, such as Pathway or Slect Plus. Search bar does not work properly. Example, I typed a plan name (Pathway, Select Plus, etc) and it would tell me no plans available. When you clear the name search, it would show those plans in the big group. There should be a "favorites" button so you can store plans to look at again later. The "compare" ability is mildly helpful, but only allows you to keep 4 marked. A "favorites" button would make it easier to narrow down huge variety of choices. Only allowing 9 plans per page also makes it tough to adequately review and compare plans.

This service is so lacking in anything beneficial to an individual. The service is confusing, not conducive to being any help and it often delays reimbursements because the software can't process insurance forms provided by an individual. My company is using this service and I have no way to influence them to change from Take Command
Extremely helpful people and they answered all questions effectively. Thank you.

Company was ok, and then introduced the HRA hub and became a disaster. I no longer recommend TakeCommand to any small businesses. I cannot use the system without requiring a support ticket. They had a bug with "adding a person" which one would generally think is a key feature. It's also been nearly 4 months and they have not processed a change to our eligibility classes.
Aaron was great. He was very helpful and the fact that he could remote into my computer to see what I was looking at was so helpful. That's a great feature. He could help me compare and answer my questions by seeing exactly what I was seeing. My experience was very good.

I agree with one star reviews regarding the inability to talk to anyone about issues with the function of their website, and receiving chat messages over and over again that don't resolve the problems. We joined 2/1/2026, and have already gone with another agency beginning 3/1/2026. Reps give canned responses and after many hours in chats we simply GIVE UP! Worst user experience of any site we have ever seen. Example: Admin site says "shopping", employee site pop-up says "waived". Employees cannot do anything at all. To add a second admin we have been told to access an area of our admin site that doesn't exist.
Everything was handle on a timely manner she took care of things while helping me choosing the right insurance

This is my second enrollment period with Take Command since the company I work for was forced into an ICHRA. Both times, I have encountered nothing but issues, as have many of my coworkers. From being unable to reach anybody via phone or email, to the fact that they incessantly text and email about problems, but will not explain them or talk directly with you about them. Even when the issues are on their end, they blame you instead of looking at the description you have given them and finding a solution. Avoid at all costs.
Wish there was a ZERO star option. I am not one to post reviews, but my experience with Take Command has been surreal. I have been a client of theirs since 2022. They used to be a good company to work with. Now THEY ARE A JOKE! Want to talk to a human, budget 90 minutes on hold. Want to solve an issue - like basic functioning of their portal, you CANNOT budget enough time for that. I have employees that want to waive coverage but can't because the website won't allow them to get to the appropriate screen and no one at Take Command apparently has a clue to remedy the problem. The most recent guidance has been to enter fraudulent information about bogus qualifying life events to get to a screen where you might be able to find the "waive" button. I have spent hours and hours and hours sitting on hold, sending emails, dialoguing with AI chat bots and am no closer to solving the problem. Oh, and guess what, I bet you the billing mechanism that charges me for all non-waived employees works just fine. We will see. So unbelievably disappointing.

Edit 01/29: After this review someone was able to reach out to me and help me settle things. I'm rating three stars now. The initial communication was still problematic and a format like this seems to leave an extra layer for miscommunication and mistakes with health benefits, but the experience ended well
My employer switched to Take Command to handle their healthcare and it has been nothing but a nightmare since. At first the credit promised made my plan look like a great deal.
Two months later, I get a collection call from my healthcare provider saying that I owe almost $2000, in essence the full cost of the plan. The take command rep responded by saying that I "Just had to pay it out of my own pocket and the company will reimburse me.
I have worked for good and bad companies over almost 30 years and never seen anything close to this tacky of a setup. Please if you are an employer and considering them, be better to your workers.
For everyone else, this type of company only exists because we are in a grift economy where only profit margins matter. Look elsewhere if your company switches to them for healthcare.
I have employer provided health, vision and dental insurance through Highmark at no cost to me. I'm having extreme difficulty navigating their vague site and as a result, have lost coverage.I've spoken to HR at my work and she has absolutely no grasp on what is needed to rectify this situation. The worst part? I have an eye procedure scheduled for tomorrow. My second time going through this nightmare. The first scheduled procedure was cancelled due to my having NO coverage at that time as well, even though I was assured that my premium(s) were in fact paid.
I have been off of work due to this and It's still unclear what the true issue is?!?
If I could rate "Take Command" a zero I absolutely and unapologetically would do so.
