Look good but that's about it...
Purchased 2 x Planika Lighthouses nearly two years ago. Summary, they look great but deliver virtually no heat, even under a gazebo.
Update - now had a response from Planika (below) and edited the purchase date above as they were quite correct (time flies during a pandemic!).
I'm very pleased (for new purchasers) that they have recognised the original model was unfit for purpose and changed the product as surely a key requirement of any patio heater is that it ACTUALLY HEATS?!
I will now look at the sale of goods act to see if I have a route to claim compensation and suggest other dissatisfied 'mark 1' owners do the same.
These are expensive products and the least Planika should have done on recognising their issue was to offer previous model owners the chance to upgrade at an advantageous rate...

OK, are you sure you want to go for a 'he says she says' on this? Before answering, please consider that I have every email and photograph from that time, do you?
My original review stated they look great but deliver virtually no heat. This has proven to be entirely accurate as you have upgraded the product to address this failure.
But now you have gone very much over the top in your subsequent response. A cosmetic error would be a scratch or other such mark. Cosmetic errors do not include damaged goods (due to extremely poor packaging) that meant it was impossible to install one of the pains of glass due to bent metalwork.
The 'perfect' replacement wasn't. Again it was damaged due to poor packaging, the top was damaged so I used the one from the first delivery to make one 'good' product. In emails, you admitted the packaging was poor (but still blamed the courier) but had taken steps to improve it.
Your 'offer' of £200 to keep the damaged unit was a final attempt to keep me happy as your logistics was totally hapless in collecting it, despite repeated attempts. All you could do was blame the courier again while the person who was meant to be dealing with it your end had gone on holiday over the festive period and nobody had picked up her work.
I am very happy to share any of these emails or photos that support my comments on this forum so you have a chance to respond, just let me know.
In summary, the original product was a decorative object, not a heater, despite being called this. As a decorative object it is fine. Other than that, it is a massively overpriced piece of junk.
Finally, I would advise every potential purchaser to look at Planika's category ratings and make their own decision before buying.

Took forever to get to us!!
I’m writing this before we have the item. Ordered this the same day as we ordered the Faro fireplace from another company & that came within days, just as well we didn’t order it all from planika as we’d still be waiting!!! 2 weeks & counting to deliver a cover 🤷♂️

Loving my Planika Simple lamp
Loving my Planika Simple lamp, it’s beautiful on our outdoors terrace in the evening, with a large dancing flame. Have had a lot of compliments from friends. Half a bottle of fuel lasts an evening, and it’s easy to light/extinguish. Customer service is responsive when we had a delivery issue.

Salty & neglectful customer service
The product was absolutely fine. The whole trouble was caused entirely from customer service, the delivery date was pushed but 4 times.
Despite we made order adjustments with plenty of time ahead - that did not affect the product itself, at the end we received a product without the relevant UK extension cable.

We can see multiple and repeated calls with you and your team as well as countless chat sessions. All your requests and enquiries were answered. You originally ordered a Pure Flame burner only. This had been produced and arrived at our warehouse ready for delivery but half way through production you also asked to add the pure flame TV box furniture. We do not sell the furniture as stand alone so we had to go ahead and manufacture a new set of fire and furniture and await for that to be delivered to us for onward delivery to you. During this process we kept you informed of delays in transport. All our products are made in Poland and come with either a connection block for mains wiring or a European plug. On your last chat session today you advised you received a European plug but no U.K. adapter. We send these free of charge and we offered to send it to you or for you to purchase one in a local store and will provide a refund of your receipt. That offer was not taken up and you just ended the chat and left this review. So we don’t feel two stars are a real indication of the service you have received. Good job - excellent fit
Purchased this cover for our Planika KL21 Rio propane fire. Obviosuly no extended use info yet but appears well made and fit for purpose.
Unfortunately we were taken for a ride price wise by Wayfair's Metrolane who charged use £609.00 for the actual fire -- only to discover we could buy it direct from Planika UK direct for £130 less. But both products seem to bet OK so far.

I love my chicento fire
I love my chicento fire, absolutely brilliant, especially when outside in the evening having a drink, just had problem with the fuel but that was due to couriers, planika kept me updated and well worth the wait, just love it , I love the glow it gives at night, really special, excellent customer service

We are sorry that it had taken over two months to deliver our fuel but as you are aware from our many emails we initially struggled at the beginning of the year to import the fuel into the UK. Subsequently, to that, we started to make our own fuel which was ready at the beginning of April. At that point, we had processed the dispatch for all outstanding orders and to our dismay, DHL, out of the blue and without warning, declined to transport our fuel any further. It had then taken us over six weeks to get boarded with a new courier and in the interim, we tried our best to personally deliver fuel orders where we could. I bought one of the Chantico fires, absolutely brilliant, just love it, it’s great on the patio having a beer at night, don’t know what I’d do without it now, yes there was a problem with the fuel but that was a third party fault, excellent service, kept me up to date and well worth the wait

Dreadful service
The product is great but the service was dreadful. It has taken months to receive the order. Issues with getting couriers apparently. Communication has been extremely poor.

Dear Debbie, thank you for your review. During the last couple of months we have been emailing clients regularly with updates regarding delays to their fuel orders. Despite that your order was placed on the 10th of January and delivered on the 18th of May. Whilst this isn’t the usual 48 hour service we wish to provide there are bold warnings on the product page advising of delays and our inability to currently deliver fuel orders using traditional couriers. We are currently delivering our fuel ourselves using our own driver. He is doing his best to drive up and down the country and deliver to everyone. Many of our clients who have been waiting as long as you have been even offering him tea and biscuits. So we don’t feel your review is a true testament to our excellent customer service which is being tainted by fuel supply issues which are out of our control. You are clearly also very happy with the quality of the fuel so we hope we can make it up to you in the future.
