Jim makes himself available to answer any questions and does not blow you off or make you feel dumb like some other lenders. Iwill be using Jim for all of my real estate needs in the future. Planet paid multiple insurance policy's out of my escrow and failed to notify me of their error. Next thing I know my mortgage increased suddenly by over $1000.00 per month. When I asked why and realized it was because of an insurance policy that I knew nothing about I asked for their help in getting the money back, I was told that was up to me to get the funds returned. In the meantime I was expected to pay the extra added to my mortgage until the escrow was back to where it needed to be. Long story short Planet failed to correct this error. I did all the work to get the money back from these insurance companies and Planet charged me late fees and reported late payments to the credit bureaus because I chose to withhold payment until this was cleared up. When it was cleared up I paid immediately. I've never paid late and they know it. For some reason the all mighty Planet cant accept that they made a mistake and correct it. The consumer must take the hit for their error. This is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever had. I've used many in the past.
Be careful with this company.

Even with a layoff from primary job i was able to lock in a loan and get the forever home for my family.

There should be negative stars. These creeps purchased my loan without my consent as is done in this very messed up capitalistic society. Nothing learned form the 2008 crisis. After 4 years in my house with close to the same mortgage payment and escrow paid with never a problem they jacked my escrow and now want to hold 2 months of taxes and insurance permanently. Just to use to collect interest on on their bank. This is how they pump their numbers to keep their sad excuse for a business going. My mortgage payment is now going to jump significantly during a time of desperate economical upheaval and inflation that seems to be affecting only the middle income population. Sure have another hundred a month for your coffers. Why not reach right in my wallet and help yourself. My old mortgage company has stated they did not have my escrow wrong as one of Planet's rude reps tried to tell me and they are scamming me. I never has an issue paying my taxes and insurance which have increased only a few dollars over the last four years. They just want money! This is predatory lending at it's lowest.
